I was going through AA batteries what seemed like every other day. I was recommended with this charger and I'm so happy I followed the Best Buy employees advice. You can have it rest in the cradle and not charge, or you can push it down to lock in to begin charging. Has red lights for indicating charging or green for fully charged. No more stealing batteries from tv remotes when I run out.

My son would never place his controller back into the charger we had. The charger was fine just it was difficult to get the controller to make contact so I finally looked into getting a different charger. This fit the bill as the controller rest on its back. Set it down and push down the charger. Lights red when charging and green when good to go. This has to be the easiest charging station for kids. I gave it 4 stars as I felt that the batteries dont keep a charge as long as the previous Insignia brand.

This is very easy charging for my Xbox One controllers. I love to game, whether it's racing or a good sports title, so I needed a better charging option when my batteries would run low than the cable... the cable would be good for awhile and then it tended to short out and would restrict movement both when in use and when not in use. So the charging station would help me keep them charged in addition to keeping the controllers safe from accidents, which tend to happen.

I was so tired of buying batteries for the remote controls. I love not hearing "mom I need more batteries" I love that it keeps the controllers off the floor.
