    Sci-fi MUST!

one of my favorite sci-fi stories by Robert A. Heinlein. Secret agent who is part of a crazy time travel paradox. Well made film didn't jeopardize any of the original story, Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook are fantastic and really embody their characters fluidly. I would say its in the vain of a scanner darkly, primer for the story and psychological aspect and just a very small amount of looper for the look feel and time travel parts. This is a film you'll have to watch twice (haha)

    Mind Bending Movie

Mostly a character driven movie with some action at end of movie. Ethan Hawke and Sara Snook really preformed. Director(s) the Spierig brothers did a great job. Quick dialog, unique story and a well shot movie, makes this a must see, maybe two or three times. If you like The Butterfly Effect, this movie might be for you. Enough twists and turns that most might be surprised by movie, either way, it was well cast, well written, and very well directed.

Predestination was one of those movies I wanted to see without any reviews. I don't read reviews of movies before watching them. I like to watch them without any bias. Predestination is one of those rare movies that probably won't get a lot of attention. This was a solid movie, the story telling was incredible and it was just all around great. The picture and audio quality are a 5/5, don't hesitate to pick up this movie.

I heard good things about Predestination, but I wasn't sure if I'd like it as not a huge fan of time travel movies; however, it was surprisingly smart with how it incorporated time travel, the questions it asked, and I especially liked that it was a very personal story and not something grand like saving the world or anything like that. A definite must for fans of time travel and even for those who aren't.

This is an adaptation of the book "all you zombies". Don't look it up or it'll give away the story. I absolutely loved this movie! But I can't wrap my head around how it's possible even if time travel was real. It's the chicken and the egg paradox that this movie fell into.

I enjoyed this film. There were quite a few twists and turns along the way. However, it was slightly slow to start with for the first 30 minutes to an hour. But once things start picking up a little bit and all of the pieces start coming together, I found it worth the watch.

Though the gifted may figure out that something I amiss at some time halfway during the movie, they will be surprised to see , as did I, that that is not the final twist in this paradox ridden flick. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat, trying to make sense of the movie only to be once again jerked into yet another unexpected dark feature. This is time travel's equivalent to a division by zero.

Im a huge fan of time travel movies. They've been one of my favorite genres for as long as I can remember. And this one takes it to a whole new level. you think it's going one way and then it goes another it's really unpredictable and that's what I love the most about it.

Some spoilers ahead: This film was perhaps a tad predictable. The ending may leave one feeling unsatisfied, but for what it is, I think it was just a snippet of the barkeep's lifeline. All in all, worth it as it will inspire some deep philosophical conversations.

Its difficult to write a review for this movie (which came and went through the theaters with little acknowledgement) without spoiling it in any way. I promise that if you see this, you'll figure out some twists before they're outright revealed, but others will surprise you. A great take on time travelling and the idea of cause and effect with great direction, writing, pacing and acting on all parts.

I did not have high hopes for this film. However, I was pleasantly surprised by all of the plot twists and turns throughout! I enjoy unique movies that are unpredictable, and Predestination is exactly that, unpredictable. Hawke did an outstanding job carrying this film.

A startling adaptation of a Robert A. Heinlein short story, "'All You Zombies'", this film showcases Sarah Snook in a groundbreaking performance as a time-travel agent who fathers her own child. The production values stay high on a low budget. The shrewd script expands on the original plot, offering sharp dialogue, a mind-expanding mystery, and core characters who truly change.

I bought this movie out of recommendations. While is a great movie, you need to pay attention or else get lost in the plot. Having said that Ill probally watch one more time again. But not because is a bad movie no, its good, but definitly something different.

This movie is based on Robert Heinlein's short story All You Zombies. The time travel story kind of reminds me of Looper, I enjoy this type of movie, so I was interested in getting this one even though I hadn't heard anything about it. I am glad I did.

We had not heard much about this movie but were surprisingly entertained. The plot requires a periodic suspension of disbelief and the usual time travel paradoxes exist but , none-the-less, a strong plot-line and exciting movie.

    Incredible Plot Twist

This movie hooked me from the beginning because of the mystery surrounding the efforts of Hawke's character to catch a criminal. Many of the events were mimicked by the things we see happening with terrorism today, so the movie seems very current. Incredible plot twist at the end reminiscent of The Crying Game in that you don't see it coming at all.

Without going into too many spoilers, I will say that this is an enjoyable lo-fi sci-fi film. You can sort of figure out what's going on before too long, but it is still an interesting take on an old time travel scenario.

This was a good movie. It had lots of twists and really got one thinking of all the improbable things that can happen when you mess with time. You have to suspend belief, like in most sci-fi movies, and sit back and enjoy!
