Rayman Legends is a fun 2D side-scrolling action game with excellent hand-drawn visuals and plenty of over-the-top action. There are plenty of levels of different types to keep you busy for a while. The standard levels where you can explore at your own pace are my favorites. I also like the Murphy levels, which take advantage of the Wii U game to guide the CPU or other human players through the levels by touching and sliding objects and enemies and rotating the gamepad to tilt certain platforms. The only thing I don't like is that I think there are too many levels that require to run ahead at full speed without being able to stop or die. These levels are still too fun; just don't play too many in a row.

One word can describe Rayman Legends: weird. But that is in a good way! It is weird in an awesome and unique way. The characters are all lovable and each have extremely fluid animations. The level design is also fantastic. The multiplayer is a blast to play with other players locally & with the control gamepad you can have 5 players. This game is worth anyone's time. People new to platforming will have a lot of fun, and so will veterans. This review was done on the Wii U version of the game (I recommend it on the Wii U since you can play it on the gamepad screen)

I have to say that Ubisoft put out a wonderful game! The music is catchy, the graphics are breathtaking, and controls are easy!

Rayman Legends is an excellent game. From the gorgeous graphics (I'm a big fan of 2D done well), tight control, nice music, and a fun sense of humor; Legends is the best entry in the solid Rayman series of games. Although it's a multi-platform title, it really shines on the system that it was originally developed for, the Wii U. Adding a second player helping out with the gamepad really changes things. If you're looking for a very solid platforming on the Wii U that doesn't involve plumbers and a princess (not that there is anything wrong w/that lol) you can't go wrong w/Rayman Legends.

This is one of the most fun games I have ever played. The creativity and unique gameplay is fantastic. The use of the Wii U Gamepad is very well done. The game is challenging, but not enough to require online inquiry, etc. A must play game.

This game is ageless, timeless, and limitless fun! My daughter loves all the characters, I love that she isn't constantly asking me to 'beat the board' for her. Tons of extras including a daily skill game with all players worldwide.

game looks wonderful on wiiU...much better than the first game (origins) did...the game was developed on the nintendo wiiU so they were able to make the graphics better than xbox and playstation 3... the touch control levels are a great way to put the wiiU gamepad to use... its easier to play than the first one was...the first one was frustrating and this one is much more laid back and fun. thoroughly recommended.

Having played Rayman Origins on the Xbox 360, my wife and I were thrilled that 1) the Wii U was finally HD, and 2) that the Wii U had a Rayman game of its own. We didn't follow the drama of how it was only supposed to come out for Wii U, then launch was delayed to get the game on other systems. We actually appreciated the option, and while we weren't sure how interactive the game would be using Wii U motion control, we decided to give it a shot. Don't even consider getting this game for any other system than the Wii U. The gamepad use creates an awesome collaboration for multi-player, and truly captures the intent of the whole system. With updated graphics and familiar gameplay, Rayman Legends is an instant classic. It even has a lot of levels from Rayman Origins just as a bonus, but has enough play and great challenges to be good all on its own. Beating the levels is fun, but the challenges keep the replay going and going. You won't regret this purchase!

Lots of levels, easy premise/story, lots of variety of characters to play as, good value for money spent

This is an amazing platformer with tons of content and fantastic music.

It's a very fun and exciting game. Also great to play multiplayer. Challenging, fun and exciting game. Keeps you entertained. I recommend this for everyone if you love fun games.

The Rayman series have always been great games to play and Rayman Legends is without a doubt one of them. Multiplayer is extremely fun and it can sometimes make you laugh so hard. The art style is superb!

Similar to a Mario game, but way better (and I'm a big fan of Mario)! This game has great graphics and music to go along with it. Highly recommend this game :)

I thought Rayman Origins was really good, but Legends completely decimates it in every conceivable way. Not only is this game extremely fun, the levels have great replay ability, not including the cool challenge modes. The multiplayer Kung Foot! (soccer) is fantastic with some friends. I also feel this game is by far best played on the Nintendo Wii U. Don't get me wrong, it's good on the other systems, but sits perfectly at home on Wii U. -melon

Another good option for your Wii U console; lots of adventure.

After abandoning the Rayman series for a while I came back into it after purchasing my Wiiu. Rayman legends was the game that resparked my love for the Rayman universe and gave me the urge to revisit the older installments. This game is worth checking out even for people who have never picked up a single Rayman game.

BEST ON WII U! AWESOME MUSIC, GRAPHICS GAMEPLAY!!!

This is probably one of the best games that my husband and I have played together. It is artistically beautiful and challenging at the same time.

Overall the game is pretty amazing. Beautiful visuals. Graphics are crisp and run smoothly. Gameplay itself is just as smooth. It's fun playing with more people, but it can get tricky. I usually play as Rayman, while my girl plays as Murphy helping me clear the way of baddies. It's just a great game!

Its a fun game. Entertaining and not to hard for beginning players. Fun with friends in the challenges and some of the other fun side game.
