Excellent item for the elders among us!

The main buttons, Volume and Channel are bigger and they light up, which the 85 year old user (no, not me) easily can use. The old one had way too many little buttons, constantly getting into menus and things like that, This unit doesn't have that problem! It even works on an old 'Fisher' brand TV!

works...but still a little disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So long as your only desire for this remote is to control the function of two compatible electronic devices (e.g. tv, dvd player, cable, satellite box, etc), this is your device. My disappointment is in its lack of functionality when it comes to controlling the Universe. I thought I was going to pop in a couple batteries and be able to bend space and time with this remote. RCA should really consider re-naming this product to "2 Device Remote".

Great replacement remote
