I needed to find a remote that had a CC (close captions) button. When researching remotes, this model was supposed to have one. It does not. I can supposedly program a key to turn CC on and off, but I was not able to figure out how to do that. The remote itself works just fine, but I want to be able to turn close captions on and off easily. I might return it.

Bought for my grandmas TV she lives the big buttons !

Great choice for my father in a nursing home. Buttons are easily seen and user friendly.

My son got great use of this product uses one remote for other devices very good.

Needs more improvements for seniors to use. The buttons are not user friendly for seniors. Good remote just not for senior citizen's.

The RCA TV Remote is "just that" ... a TV Remote. It's handsome, stylish, and practical in size. However, it's not a "clone." The functions are limited when compared with the your TV's "original" remote. It's "Universal" in terms of a TV ... but not a "Universal" multi-function device. But again, it looks good.

Device used to control tv that I lost remote to. Works well and easy to sync.

for the cost, it does the trick for those times you need to minimal controls of a device. For those who more power-user types, this product will disappoint. Cheap plastic feel, lack of advanced features and options. If you need something to change channels, adjust volume, this does the trick.

Kind of tough to configure since they have like three different instruction manuals. I was able to get the hang of it. Don't be slow like me and read through both manuals, it will save you time and frustration. So far it's held up, Probably the most expensive universal TV remote I have purchased, and that's because the other controls are useless for our basic TV.

It's a basic remote. Works fine for the minimal features we needed it for.

I got this for my Mom, she is button challenged. She has difficulty remembering which buttons to use. This remote makes it simple. The buttons are large and well spaced. Still had to cover all the number buttons as too confusing for her. But it is better than the remote that came with her TV.

simple controls compared to the one that came with Charter Spectrum, person who served us said he thought we would need to contact the cable company for a code that would make the remote compatible but this was not the case. Will be returning it. Charter was able to supply us with a simpler control

I purchased this for my mother but at the end she didn't need it because the cable company had one.
