Customer Ratings & Reviews

It's so versatile. I love that it has a USB-C connection on the side, because I can plug it into my smart phone or computer and use it to film and record with this external mic as the source. You can also use it with an Apple product when you buy a USB-C to Lightning cable made by Rode.

Failry straight forward microphone. For the price well worth the investment

This mic replaced another older Rode Videomic Pro. Love the metal body and since it powers up automatically, it keeps me from having to remember to turn on and off the VideoMic's power. Had to carry so many extra batteries before.

Item arrived on time. Packaging was good. The item itself is amazing. Fits my needs.

Audio is pretty good but you need a receiver. A lot of noise when plugged directly into camera

Required manipulation to get the hissing noise to go away. Not as plug and play as I had hoped for the price.

I purchased this from the store, and the microphone was missing. Because I waited to open the product after a few months of purchasing it, it was too late to return.

If you need a mic use this one but don’t expect extraordinary results. I get a lot of echo and background noice. Right now I’m using it as a backup mic cause I feel I can’t rely entirely on this one.
