These are just good entertaining popcorn flicks. I enjoy them and they look great in 4K. Awesome package!

By now you should have seen at least one if not all of these. I'm just going to give a quick rundown on the "technical" aspect of this release. Before that, yes it includes digital copies for all films. First 2 movies were shot on film and because so have been reworked pretty well for a 4k transfer. A lot can be done with film and transferring them to 4k. That said 1st one 4.5/5 and second one 4/5. Audio is quite great and special features are the same as they have always been but are packed full of goodies with every movie. 3 and 4 are when they started filming digitally but unfortunately they filmed both movies at 2k intermediate then upscaled it to 4k. So it isn't a true 4k. Now 5 and 6 were filmed at 8k and downscaled to 2k for release so fortunately those files were easily uncompressed on the 4k discs and it shows. Native 4k and beautiful. That's the best I can do with a quick rundown. Hope it helps.

I have not watched all the movies in the set yet, only the first 3. So far the 4k transfers look great, and there is a lot of solid extras on the standard Blue Ray discs. I have a Panasonic UB820 player with an LG OLED 2019 model TV. Great quality. The packaging it self is okay, but not great. The box it comes in is fine, but the individual cases for the discs are not that great. I didn't have issues with loose discs in mine, but others have mentioned it and I can see how it's possible. Not the best package quality for something that was released at $89.99 Speaking of the price, I pre-ordered this set for the original $89.99. A week later the price dropped $20, which Best Buy honored with a price match. 3 days later, it dropped another $15 for black Friday which they will NOT price match for. Pretty frustrating. If I knew they would have had such a big price drop on a new release, I would have waited.

This is a review for both picture and audio quality, using OPPO UDP-205 4K player, Denon AVR-X8500h A/V receiver, Klipsch RP speaker setup via Dolby Atmos configuration. The picture quality is outstanding, with 6 movies total, this is hot! Honesty, I didn’t expect much of an upgrade from the standard Blu Ray. The sound quality is top notch, with a Dolby Atmos system, it’s better than most 4K movies out there. Lots of activity from all speaker channels, including the height channels.

I just received my RE collection box set in 4k & it obviously came a little damaged on a bottom corner of the RE box & a little damage on the middle front top it's no wonder why it happened best buy shipped it with no protection & just put it in a shipping box that was bigger then the item they put it in overall I love it but I wish it came without damage & now it's on backorder better then nothing I guess. All the cases came new with all the disc in place so no problem with that

So glad to finally have all the Resident Evil films on 4k. Sony did a very good job at finally putting all the movies in the series in one of the nicest box sets that I have had in a long time. The box is very well made and once the top cover is removed all movies are very easy to get to. All the movies was remastered with Dolby Atmos. If you have a home theater setup at home your going to really enjoy all the movies in this box set.

Great sound and picture, Artwork is nice to. Has all previously released bonus content. This also includes and extended cut of Resident Evil Apocalypse. It adds about 5 more minutes of character development, no additional gore. Only downside, the NC-17 cut of Resident Evil that Paul Anderson claimed he was going to release, is still not here. At this point I don't think it ever will get a release.

All six Resident Evil films in 4k UHD for the first time in one amazing collection. Truthfully only really care for the first 3 films, but they all look and sound great. The HDR makes the colors pop like crazy. Great black levels and detail. The packaging is alright. The outer box is great except that the title is not on the spine. I personally don't care for digipacks, but at least they all have plastic trays and aren't just housed in cardboard like some sets.

These movies are cheesy and over the top but also can be a lot of fun! Video quality is really good Sony usually does a good job with their 4K blu Ray transfers. The included regular blu rays have most of the special features and a decent amount of behind the scenes content. If you are a fan of the movies this is a great 4K blu ray set to pick up!

This collection is one of a kind package i saw online and reviews of box set. I couldn't believe they drop the price way down when it only hit the store for 2 week around black Friday. The movie 4k picture sharp quality is ok good for some old movie 1-3 and 4-6 way better picture. The Dolby Atmos sounds great in all 6 collection.

Only at Best Buy you can only get this box set in great metal Container now let's talk about the movies all of them in 4K and the digital ones too in 4K very important you get all 6 movies look all movies have they good and bad in the movies but still no regrets of buying this set

great transfer and at new price is a steal wish had steelbook cases though not into the paper cases but at least not slide in ones like Hitchcock movies must buy for 4k collectors

Really happy to have these movies on 4K finally. Not the best movies in the world. But they are surely great popcorn fun for sure. More of a guilty pleasure type of movies. But now you get to see them in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos 4K!

Exactly what I was expecting. Definitely didn't remember how cheesy some of the dialogue was back in the early 2000's and some of the effects don't look as good as I remember; but I don't regret my purchase, always a good movie to throw on no matter what the occasion is.

I love Resident Evil, the fact they have the collection and on 4K ultra and Blu-ray it’s cool. Worth the price !

Nice set. I like that the discs are easy to get out of the case. Some boxsets you need a blow torch to get them out of the sleeves/cases. The 4k upgrade is nice upgrade. If you can get it on sale it's well worth the price

Sharp looking collection. So glad I bought it when I did, as it's not OOP. But if you have the chance to snag this one, please do. The picture and sound has never, and probably will never look better!

Resident evil one of the best movies that you will probably ever see they finally came out with one nice awesome collection. Lots of action awesome zombies.
