I purchased this peep hole camera for my daughter’s new apartment. The camera gives you a nice, clear, wide angle view of anyone approaching the front door. The recording feature within the Ring App, is a great way to go back and look at any motion in front of the door. It was a breeze to install, and setup in the App. I totally recommend this product to everyone.

It’s easy to install. The wide view makes it perfect. The picture is very clear and sound. Easy to talk to your visitors.

I got this camera because I live in an apartment and wanted to add to my "smart home." This camera does what I need it to do which is to simply see who may be outside my door. What I don't quite get is why the chime is on the outside of the camera. It would have made more sense to put it on the part that is inside the apartment. It looks like a separate chime can be bought to make the doorbell chime be heard throughout your home. I absolutely love that I can remotely review the camera and I was surprised to see that people could actually communicate about things going on in the neighborhood inside the app. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and I don't understand why I hadn't gotten one sooner.

For apartment owners, this peephole door cam is really the best option. I've moved it with it to two different apartments now. Easy to set up, doesn't damage the door, take down and removal is super easy too.

Just absolutely amazing as advertised..I caught a woman trying to steal a package from my front door while I was in my living room..I caught her thanks to the Ring camera setup on my iPhone. Thanks Ring !….you're the best out here in the market for home and apartment protection..

Easy to install, charging takes long but it lasts a looong time. I am glad I bought it. Gives me peace of mind knowing who is at my door and I can see if my packages are delivered.

Works great. I use it for my apartment door. Setup was easy and that battery has lasted me around 1.5-2 months better needing to be recharged.

PROS: Adding a doorbell to my condo door, adding a security camera to my main door and hallway, notification when someone is at my door with a food or package delivery, and notification when a package delivery occurs along with a video record. (due to motion sensor). This camera also saves a good number of these videos, which you can delete after viewing to save space. I don't yet see the need to pay for the monthly cloud service, but it's nice to know that option exists if needed. They keep improving the features, so I'm very pleased with everything so far. I agree with many users that you can't actually see the packages placed at your door, because the viewfinder doesn't include that area in its range. This would be a nice improvement. But overall, you will have video of anyone that delivers a package or attempts to take a package, since it will trigger the motion sensor. So not such a big deal. I mounted my peephole cam a bit lower, below my door knocker, to improve the viewing range. It helped a lot. Battery life also seems good, but depends on how often you view videos and other settings. Highly recommend this camera/doorbell.

This was so easy to install and set up that I didn't even need the instructions. I love being able to see everything I need to see in order to feel safe in my home. It fits perfectly and is actually quite nice aesthetically. I wish my back door had a peephole. I would have bought 2 of these!

This is an awesome little gadget. The picture and sound quality is very clear. Installation was super easy. Highly recommend it.

Contained all tools needed for installation. Step by step instructional video offered once app is downloaded. The battery takes several hours to fully charge. It comes with a usb but not the power block. Super easy to install and can send invitations through email for additional people to access. Overall very pleased. If there was a negative it would be that the app sent me a low battery email about 15 days after installation. I could have sworn the sales person said it lasted several months between charges but the battery is easy enough to pull out and charge. Pulling out the battery does disable the system but they do have extra batteries you can buy to switch out.

This is a great product! It’s very easy to installed. Do selling required. It records video and sounds perfectly. However, yo do have to sign up for a subscription in order to save previous videos up. But other than that and I feel safe having this at my apartment complex.

I am super pumped about this camera easy to install easy to swap batteries great picture has been awesome. I wanted a ring doorbell however the design where our existing doorbell was prevented it. This replacing a peephole was awesome and super easy to install.

This works well for apartments or when there is a door where a doorbell can’t be placed. I’m also pleasantly surprised how long the battery charge lasts.

Love it!! I had someone steal my key around midnight in July 2023. I was unable to sleep knowing my key has been compromised. We live in an appartment and after this situation had to get new locks and new fob key. Ring pep hole camera gave me peace of mind while at work or during long weekend and best of all very inexpensive . The camera comes with one battery pack that might last for six months. The first month is free and $3 is monthly subscription.

This was super easy to put in..I did it in about 15 minutes the most time was actually getting the peep hole out and I’m in an apartment. It was a door bell on it as well and u have a clear view...no issues

I am a previous owner of the Ring doorbell and enjoyed having it. Mind you, in my former home I couldn't get the Ring Chime to work because my TP-Link mesh router previously only had a 5 ghz option (they've since provided a firmware update and allow customers to use 2.4 or 5 ghz). Anyway, my new home doesn't have room on the framing around our front door, and we wanted to get back into owning a Ring something or another. The Peephole is a great solution with essentially the same technology as the doorbell. Install was relatively painless. In order to get the mounting tube through, I needed to use a drill bit that could cut through our metal front door. Which leads me to my one area of input for the Ring product development team. If you can, provide the specs on the mounting tube - it's width, length, and height. My front door (from previous home owners) had a door knocker already in place. I took their old knocker out, and was hoping the Ring Peephole tube would slide right into the hole they'd already made. Knowing the specs of the pieces that go along with the Peep Ringhole ahead of time would have been super helpful. The Peephole is currently set up and working great. App works great. Battery life on this has been running strong for exactly a month and has not yet need to be recharged. While the Peephole itself is attached and mounted to our front door, it's also being shielded with a clear, glass storm door in front of it. I've seen others comment on how this item doesn't work as well when it's enclosed by a storm door. I have zero limitations in our visibility - picture and audio are terrific. The bonus on this purchase was Best Buy running a promotion - purchase the Peephole and receive a complimentary Echo Dot third generation. For $79.99, that's a great package price.

This was just what I needed with my packages are getting stolen from my front door. It was super easy to install. I had it up and running in under 15 minutes! Battery last forever. I highly recommend it!

This Peephole camera is as advertised. Installation was easy, and product was is to setup. Picture quality is good, and it records very well. The volume when speaking to others is kind of low, hopefully a firmware update will fix this in the future.
