I have wanted the Ring doorbell for a while. I'm so glad I finally broke down and bought it. I love that I can see who's at my door at all times. Plus the great thing about Ring is the installation is quick & easy. Will never look back at buying the product.

How did I live without this. Not just seeing who is at my door, and feeling more secure. It help me with my teenager he will say good bye to me when he leaves. I see what he is wearing since I'm at work I would never know what he had on or be able to take a picture if something happened to him. I would know exactly what he had on when he left. I live in a back unit so this help a lot.

1st of 4 ring products. Amazing security system that secures my home. I especially love the peephole ring, easily installed, easy to connect, registered and downloaded app with no issues. Settings allow you to block areas that you don't want recorded (example:neighbors front door for privacy issues), it allows you to set the distance of how far you want motion detected (example:do want the street motion picked up or do you only want the walkway leading to your door). It also has a sensitivity detection that you can adjust (example:on windy days, you can tone it down not to alert you for branches swaying from wind). Motion alert is a few seconds delayed, but it may be my settings. Charging battery does take several hours, as my preference I am considering buying the 2 battery and charger combo just to swap out without the down time. Before purchasing, consider the cost of having access to all recordings, and sharing of clips. 1 ring camera product is 1 fee, then price goes up after 2 products, but any amount after 2 camera products the fees stay the same (with same address location.) Not sure if its understandable, but viewing their website for better description is well worth it.

My doorbell has a bad view angle since it is up against a wall and my doorway is in a small corridor anyways. Putting this in my existing door's peephole gave me a camera with the perfect viewing angle! Installation was simple and I didn't feel like the doorbell casing was cheap or low quality. Some colored covers for the outside facing half might be more pleasing visually. I don't have a very large sample size as I've only had one person use it so far and there was a noticeable lag so I could see situations where people will leave before you even have a chance to answer through it. Battery life seemed fine. The chime speaker sounds really bad (distortion/crackling) past 50% volume and if I had to do over it again I'm not sure I would have purchased this bundle over just the peephole camera.

I am extremely surprised at how well this works. Has a great camera both during the day and at night. Tones of features and very easy to set up. Fun ring tones. Awesome that it replaces the peep hole on my door. Disappointed it doesn't work with GOOGLE

I like this device. There is an app to review footage and also receive notifications if you want. It’s easy to review notifications, as they have the date and time. You can review footage at that time - on your phone, tablet. You can delete, save and Star any footage. You can actually talk to someone at your door. I did that once when I was out for coffee. I had a notification of motion, I opened the app and spoke with people at my door. Plus it is a visual deterrent for people you do not want hanging around.

My old doorbell was on the side wall, so I needed something that would point down the walkway looking toward the street so I could get them walking up to the door. This did the trick with minimum installation hassles. The peephole glass works well, too, better than the original in my opinion. At first, I was getting too many false positives when noisy cars drove by. I tried setting zones and such, but what worked best for me was to set it for people detection. No more false positives since then.

I'm definitely glad I got this, as I can now see what's going on at my front door when I'm upstairs. The camera gives me a good view of my porch and area in front of my house. My only issue is that the battery doesn't seem to last a long time so you have to charge it often. A full charge takes from 5-10 hours. I got this for $159.99 and saw it on sale for $109.99, unfortunately I was a few days past the 15 day price match guarantee so I couldn't get that $50 difference.

This is my forth time camera purchase. This one is great because you install it where the peephole in your door is. Easy to install and set up. Ring provides step by step instructions in the app. The chime allows me to hear when someone rings the doorbell. It's super loud and you can choose different ring tones for it. This was a great buy. Highly recommended.

I searched for a quality peephole camera and decided to try a ring product. I am amazed by the quality of the video and how easy it was to setup and use. I really like having the peephole camera on my door because I can see with picture perfect quality who is at the door without getting up to answer it. I totally recommend this product.

I like that you can link the chimes to the doorbell camera and it alerts you each time there is motion in the motion sensor area you’ve identified. I like that you have the option to view the activity that was recorded. The battery seems to stay charged for a good amount of time and it’s pretty quick and easy to do without taking the whole device down. This is an upgrade compared to the other doorbell ring camera. Overall, the product is really good. The only down side is that sometimes it doesn’t capture when someone goes in and out the door all the time and for some reason a bright light comes up on a number of the recorded activity and you can’t see anything for 3 to 5 seconds. I’m not sure why that happens but it didn’t seem to capture anything. Also would be nice if the alert could determine when And what time the door was opened of camera doesn’t capture it.

Purchase this for my daughter’s first apartment was skeptical at first but was hoping for the best. Upon purchasing it and installing it was easy Peezy-The mere fact that this is a wireless device and you’re not damaging any property if it’s not your permanent home is absolutely perfect. once everything was set up this little peephole device work perfectly. The picture in the range of you is absolutely amazing for such a small device. It made us both feel secure in the fact that she’s able to see who’s coming to the door and she’s able to get notified with various sounds from the chime .Probably one of the best purchases in my life I can’t say enough about this item.

The peephole Ring allows me to see down the sidewalk to monitor activity. My doorbell was set facing my neighbors home and the doorbell ring was of no good to me. I get clear pictures and timely alerts.

like the design of this to replace my peephole due to brick pillar would block the doorbell version view. easy to install, be very careful with the wiring ribbon as it was super delicate. was thinking of purchasing spare battery but I haven't had to charge it yet since installing it. when going to watch recorded events it doesn't catch the first few seconds of video that was triggered by motion (we have 1000M speed of internet). I've actually read about this issue with Ring but I deal with it because this isnt my primary security camera and works conveniently with Alexa & like how you can see anonymous neighborhood video alerts in my area. Paid subscription required for Ring!

Camera was easy to install in peephole; battery took a while to charge, 7-8 hours; also had some initial difficulty getting separate chime connected to wi-fi, but eventually connected on 5th attempt. Has been working great otherwise.

Amazing to check on packages connection isnt always That great . I've tried the audio option to try and answer a ring from someone and it is extremely laggy and unresponsive although I don't believe that's really the doorbell itself it may just be connection Issues for our Wi-fi. We have been debating on having a separate Wi-Fi for our ring system since the majority are not wired. Wondering if other is have experienced the same thing we do love the convenience of being able to see and get notified when there is movement in The frient door and it has helped us get some peace of mind. Keep in mind there is a subscription that you would have to purchase in order to have your video saved which may seem is an inconvenience for some we don't really mind knowing that we can save video footage for our a records if needed.

This was a great investment for me. My apartment peephole was unusable. This ring product does the same thing as the regular ring door bell. Simple to install and use. No holes to drill or hardwire.

My ring peephole camera is the perfect addition to my home security. It was sooooo easy to install and it keeps me at ease knowing I can see who comes around at night or when I’m away.

I was look for a door bell cam for home but my place doesn't have a door bel so I settled for a peep hole cam what I got was a lot more. This gadget is more than just a peep hole cam, the cool people at Ring figured out a way make it a door bell cam, How? they made this gadget sense a door know to ring my chime and alert me when someone is knocking at the door, how cool is that! another cool feature is setting up cam as alarm... haven't played with that feature yet. Oh and installation is soooo easy SO very easy, plus all tools included Time = $$.
