Prior to buying the Samsung 3.1 sound bar, I had tried a Samsung 2.1 and Yamaha 2.1 sound bars for my new Samsung 4K TV. The Samsung 2.1 was poor, and the Yamaha 2.1 was quite good. But the Samsung 3.1 was excellent! It hooks up to the TV via HDMI-ARC, so the TV remote controls the power and volume. The sound quality is clear and crisp for watching TV, listening to TV music (via Apple TV), and listening to music via Bluetooth. The subwoofer is huge, but is well balanced and doesn't overpower the sound. I was able to tuck the subwoofer behind a chair so it is not very noticeable. The only warning I have is that the sound bar is quite wide. It fits within the legs of my 55 inch TV with about a quarter inch to spare. Whew!

I like it. It is very easy to set up. Had a little difficulty getting the sub to connect, but a few minutes searching came up with an easy answer. Good sound quality. Everyone is talking about it! Big things!

I bought this Samsung Soundbar for my husband for Christmas. He had been looking at it for quite a while. He set it up himself...it was easy. The sound in our bedroom is so much better with the soundbar.

This product is amazing. I did not expect much since it was not the highest priced item, but I was extremely pleased with the sound from the soundbar, and subwoofer. Great compliment to my Samsung 4K ultraHD TV

I picked up the open box verison so it did not come with box or paperwork but came with necessary equipment. It Hooked right up to my tv and works like a charm. No complaints and sound quality is amazing.

I've had no problems with this sound bar. I hooked it up to my 2011 Samsung tv via HDMI and it immediately recognized it and configured itself. Has great, full sound and settings are easy to change.

My last sound bar was destroyed when my house was robbed. Such a shame as it looked nice and I could tell which remote worked it as all component pieces were different. But not now. This time I bought all Samsung items and I have no idea how to operate the first one, let alone know which remote works each of the items. But I will tell you this... the 14 year old kid who set this up for me, he had it rockin'! It was great. In my age of hearing loss I could finally hear what they were saying and what they were singing. I wanted the top of the line unit, but my budget said work with this one. My budget did right by me. This is an incredible unit. I can't wait for my lessons on how to use it!

I bought this to replace my traditional surround sound system due the positioning of my TV. I have to put the TV in a corner so there is no good way to put seating directly in front of the TV. My front, left and right speakers were all just sitting on my TV stand and just looked cluttered. This soundbar system sounds as good as my components and completely cleaned up my TV stand. The wireless sub sounds good too. In my opinion, it's hard to beat a powered, wired sub but for a wireless sub, this one sounds good. I did keep my wired sub too so now I am running two subs but if I mute the wired sub I still a good quality bass from this wireless sub. I am overall very pleased with this system.

I love how this perfectly sets up with my TV (Samsung 2016) Sound is a lot better than just the plain tv speakers. With young kids, this set up is great without stringing wires across the room.

I am a huge fan of the Samsung brand and they didn't disappoint here either. Having had a full 9.1 channel surround sound system and then downsizing to a sound bar had me worried. How was I going to get the full sound I was used to?!? Well, after listening to what was offered, I felt the BEST sound came from this unit. Upon getting it home, it was super easy to connect, the bluetooth feature is great and seamlessly connects with my Galaxy Note 7. The sound is killer and the wireless sub gives an awesome rumble. You won't be disappointed with this system!

The sound was good, but after 2 months the cable connection was not being recognized by the TV. I have since activated the Bluetooth which is okay but I have to keep adjusting the speech for each different channel. Pros: Sound is good 3 types of connection Optical, cable and Bluetooth Easy to install You can use your TV remote to increase volume on Soundbar Cons: Optical and direct cable would not recognize after 2 months Sync needs to be adjusted on different channels Wish there was a better voice volume, music on movies downs out some dialogue.

Bought this for over $100 off as open box and really enjoy it so far. The sound quality is great and everyone compliments the sound. Definitely not something I needed but something I like to have.

Great surround sound with speakers I bought for the rear, only one thing I can complain about is the fact my Xbox one Kinect doesn't work with it, I'm not able to tell Cortana to control my volume

Sounds good, better then TV speakers but don't expect a awesome sounding system. The bass doesn't hit hard at all. It does sync really well with a Samsung TV, which is the only reason I kept it.

I listened to some Sony soundbars that were $200 more than this, and I thought this unit sounded better. Very easy to setup - great look and sound.

Purchased this soundbar as an upgrade from my current one. Also added the wireless rear speakers. It's amazing. Sound quality is top notch, especially for the price. Very pleased with it!

I love the easy set up. Sound quality is good. I really enjoy the material it's made from, makes it easy to wipe away any dust. I also use my cell phone Samsung app to control it. Genius!!!

I bought this as a replacement and I am not disappointed at all!! Easy setup, great sound I wish I would have bought the wireless rear speakers to complete the set up! Buy this unit!!

My husband and I had previously purchased a Samsung 340W soundbar system with Bluetooth, HDMI and USB for our TV in the family room. It delivers EXCELLENT sound quality with a theater sound effect. We had it mounted to the TV for a sleek seamless look. When we purchased another new TV, we had no doubt that we would purchase another Sumsung sound bar system. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

3.1 definitely makes a HUGE difference over 2.1 sound bar. Wireless base easy to connect and packs a huge punch for our room. was better than stand alone $250 Bose, so I am happy
