Purchased this item at a Black Friday special price. The sound quality from our old TV is somewhat muffled and not always clear. We bought this particular item because the reviews for this particular product were very good and the price was great considering we didn't need a product with all the bells and whistles. It was relatively easy to set up and the sound quality is quite nice. Would recommend it.

Good quality sound, but every so often the sound bar will tell you to check the subwoofer. It'll disconnect once in awhile

I was looking for an easy to set up surround sound system. I didn't want to break the bank but also know you get what you paid for. After numerous reviews and some in-store testing, this product hit the sweet spot. I paired it up with the wireless rear speakers and can now really enjoy watching TV and movies.

I bought this for my elderly mother's new TV because she is very hard of hearing. It had a clear voice channel in hopes it would assist her hearing of spoken words. It does very nicely. she doesn't have to turn the TV as loud as she did without it to understand spoken words. It really does a nice job with music and other types of sound as well. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because after I bought this... Sony 5.1 channel surround sound with 2 extra wireless speakers came on sale for about 20$ more than this one. I ended up buying that for another TV with an Xbox one gaming system and it BLEW us away (I cried it was so beautiful) it was even better than this one for nearly same price but I feel like this one does a better job on the clear voice issue for spoken words. either way for the money (when on sale) its a very nice sound bar with low profile and extremely easy to hook up and use right out of the box.

This bar and sub sound great! I am truly pleased with the sound performance as well as the way that it works with my TV. My only "complaint" is that it was semi-difficult to get it linked with my Samsung TV. I followed the directions and had everything connected correctly, but it took a few power cycles for the two to work together as they should (for the sound bar to power on with the TV and take over the audio). Even now, the sound bar will occasionally not boot with the TV. Its easy enough to turn the sound bar on "manually", it's just disappointing when it doesn't work as it should. Anyway. Highly recommend it, just know that on some occasions you may have to be a little patient with it's apparent laziness.

I bought this sound bar and the wireless speakers that go with it to replace an old 5.1 home theater in a box system. I got a deal and used points, but the entire purchase was less than $400 and the sound is excellent! It pairs well with my Samsung TV, of course, and I would give the product 5 stars but I had to re-sync the wireless subwoofer once and also the wireless rears once, and I have been told this could become a frequent issue. But, so far, I've only had to do it once after about a week of use. If you are looking for a 5.1 solution, particularly with a Samsung TV, check this out.

Fast and easy to set up. Amazing sound quality. HIGHLY recommend.

I read a review from a very knowledgeable person that left a review on the Samsung site and I purchased this Samsung sound bar to pair with my Samsung 55" 4 K TV. He recommended buying this 3.1 instead of the cheaper 2.1. The sound from this unit is fantastic, just like being in the movie theater!

We bought these on sale along with the wireless speakers. The only complaints I would give them is that the Bluetooth has a short range through my phone, so I have to leave it on the shelf next to the sound bar (IMHO is a minor inconvenience). The other problem is the subwoofer doesn't turn on along with the system consistently. But, when that happens, I simply turn the system off and back on and the subwoofer works fine. The subwoofer is about 15 feet away from the sound at and behind a couch, so there is probably signal interference. Setup is simple. Except for the signal issues which are minor, it's a great value and I would otherwise give it 5 stars.

I read reviews on this and other products and after thorough product comparisons decided to go with this Samsung model. I am very pleased with my choice. Have been using it for about 3 months. Sound is very good for the price! Bass is not over the top and sound bar is very clear. When I out on a music channel it sounds great. If you have an apt, this is all you need regardless of size. You could use this in a house although I'd personally go with a full surround sound setup at that point. I like that the setup is easy and it automatically turns on/off when I turn my tv on/off. Hooked it up to my Samsung 60" smart tv and both together make my place the spot to go to watch sports among friends and neighbors. From that aspect, the product almost works too good. Lol

Speaker sounds great for the money and is easy to set up.

We purchase this sound bar to fit under our new 55 inch tv in our bedroom, talk about the perfect choice. This Samsung sound bar makes the room come alive, we placed the wireless sub under our bed near the head board and sound is clear and precise, We are happy with our choice and the price easy to set up and use. Great Product.

Prior to this 3.1 System I purchased the 2.1 System that I quickly returned, and here's why. The room I set this system up in was around 14 x 25 or so, and the 2.1 system was just too under-powered for it, and turning it up to the max still wasn't enough to hear it from the attached kitchen. I returned that system and purchased this one, the 3.1. This system has PLENTY of power to be heard throughout the entire house; turning it up past the half-way point is too loud for the family room but good for the kitchen, so I also purchased the wireless rear speaker system to compliment it. Now, when the volume is at a comfortable level for the family room, the little speakers hanging in the kitchen provide plenty of sound for that room. (The rear speaker system is the Samsung SWA 8000-S, and is reviewed separately.) Setup is easy, based on the ease of setting up your TV to use an external speaker system. My soundbar is attached to my Samsung UltraHD TV via their optical ports; setup on the TV was very simple. The soundbar's subwoofer is attached wirelessly to the soundbar. The strangest thing about it was that the Samsung logo is on the top of the soundbar, instead of the front. The reason this was a minor issue is that every other electronic thing we have includes the logo on the front of the unit. With this logo being on top, if you place it with the logo showing on the front, you are covering up its little screen that shows the mode, volume, etc. Once you figure that out, the rest is simple. There were other sound systems available at BestBuy, but since my TV is a Samsung and I am very happy with it, I opted for the Samsung system. I would recommend all the Samsung components.

I originally bought this soundbar setup for my 70" living room tv but due to limited space on the fireplace mantel, I decided to install in the bedroom instead. Boy am I glad i did! The subwoofer fits nicely under the bed and adds amazing bass sound and feel to movies and Pandora sessions. Totally awesome surround performance!

If your budget is $300-$400, I would highly recommend this sound bar. I had read a variety of reviews, but there's nothing that compares to hearing various sound bars for yourself. I initially had another brand in mind, but I was advised by the Best Buy sales lady to listen to the Samsung. For the price, this sound bar had the fullest sound and deepest bass out of all the others in the store in this price range. There was no tinny sound that everyone hates. It gave you the feel of being in a movie theatre without the high cost. At home after installation, I had to set the treble down to -2 and maximize the bass both on the bar and subwoofer to replicate the sound in the store. I've been very pleased with the sound at home.

This system was not my first choice. Unfortunately, I was steered to a Vizeo product by a salesman who was a better salesman than a judge of sound quality. (I should have figured that my UHD Samsung TV would do better with a "Samsung" matched sound bar) The equipment provides a broad spectrum of sound with crisp, clear, highs and bold solid bass without any low end distortion. Pricing is midrange but sound quality is up-scale and compares well with higher priced alternatives. If you've got a Samsung ..... don't mix and match. You won't be disappointed with the Samsung sound bar and, if you want to take it a step higher you can add Samsung's wireless rear speakers to provide a 5 channel system..

We got an excellent price during a promo. We started out wanting a Vizio but it was suggested we buy this and glad we did. Sound is great, setup simple. Does drop Bluetooth using echo dot in another room.

When I read all of the reviews, I was confident that this would be the best choice for the price. After purchasing online and picking up my purchase in store, my hopes were confirmed. This is an awesome system! The sound is clear and full and I have no regrets! As mentioned by others in this review, be sure to read the set up instructions carefully. Even though the set up process was easy, I had to remember to remove the small plastic covering on the cords for connection to the t.v. The only reason I gave this system 4 stars and not 5 was because I LOVE bass and I wish that the sound was just a little bit heavier. But that is just my preference! All in all, it's a great system and I highly recommend!
