This washing machine is quiet, easy on the water bill, fits what we need it to and has all the options that makes my wife happy. We even got it as an open box item so it was cheaper. I love it! Only cons are its hard on the back but you can get the pedestal drawers and how it collects hair and lint in the front seal. You have to be mindful to clear that out.

This is my second set of Samsung front loaders. It has most of the features of the higher end models, without the steam cycle. Very easy to use and customize the settings depending on exactly what it is you're washing.

energy efficient and Big enough capacity for a comforter

This washer replaced our Kenmore front loader that lasted roughly five years. The Kenmore was horrible, spent nearly three hundred dollars on repairs (parts only) in the time we had it. The most recent breakdown was for a motor control circuit board ($300 part) so the Kenmore had to go. The Samsung is well reviewed, seems to be a good basic washer for the money. Clothes are clean and nearly dry following the spin.

We just bought this washer and have been using it for the past month. So far everything is going well with it and haven't had any concerns. What is most important to me is that my clothes are getting clean where my sweaty clothes from working out actually smell clean after being washed. I bought this washer based on reviews and the current price offered on memorial day sales. Even though this washer doesn't have all the fancy programs I didn't really see myself ever needing anything more than the basic ones. My only concern is the quality of the the plastic pieces. They are thin, not as thin as other brands, which may have a potential of breaking at some point. The door hing was also something I scrutinized as over time with use I didn't want it to sage and have an alignment issue. It seems better than others. All in all, I am happy with what I paid and the way it cleans. If only brand companies will see the benefits of improving the spin rpms to 1300 or 1500. With speeds like that you won't have to use a drying which ruins your clothes... I am an advocate for hanging pants and other shirts to maintain their life which a dryer takes away.

I like that it's so energy efficient - it seems my detergent lasts so much longer because of the nice container you put it in, also the clothes are quite dry when I take them out so the dryer doesn't run very long. My old washer was a top loader and was rough on our clothes. Not the case with this one - it's gentle on the clothes, when they dry I get very little lint in the dryer trap. I think the other one was beating our clothes up. I wasn't going to buy a front loader, but I am so glad that I chose this one. It was on sale when I bought it, and it's easy to use the controls on it - I like the idea of the little tune it plays when the wash is done, instead of an annoying buzzer. It washes a little longer than my old one, but saves drying time. The detergent is easy to put in - nice system. Someday I will buy the riser because the hardest thing about it is to reach in and get the clothes out. I wish that came along with the washer. Other than that, I'm really happy with it.

It is great washer. I like all the features and it is easy to use. My 14 yr old can work it with out having to ask how. Great washer over all.

It was a great price. Sleek and elegant. Love that it holds a ton of clothes and cleans well n don't like that you can't shorten the wash cycle or have an extra spin cycle. Also don't like that you can't add oxyclean or soak or clothes.other than that it is nice.

We appreciate its nice and quiet since its on the main living floor in our home. Upon delivery the first set was scratched and the leveling feet were missing. Hard to say whose fault it was though. The error was corrected an all is well now

Never knew Samsung made washers and dryers. Am enjoying how quiet and how well this washer works. Am planning on getting matching dryer next.

It cleans my clothes. My clothes, it cleans them. I put them in dirty and they come out clean. There was a good price promotion at the time, so I was able to afford the front-loading model instead of a top-loading high efficiency.

For the price, this is a pretty good deal. But the problem is everything is digital so if something does go wrong, it's quite pricey to repair, hence getting the warranty. But the 5-yr warranty runs about $220. So you are paying over a grand for this washer. Add the drying and you are up to $2000.00 for the pair. Otherwise, it washes well with very little water use and is so quiet I don't even know it's running.

Controls easy to understand everthing cleary marked and in large text. Machine is very quiet and large compacity we are six member family machine is used daily.Very happy with purchase delivery was prompt and they removed my old broken unit. Installers courteous and professional.

This is my second front loader and I'm very happy. It's quiet and very energy efficient. Best Buy was great, the washer and dryer went on sale after I bought mine so I returned and was credited $150 difference.

Great product and value. I feel spoiled owning it, on top of looking good it works splendidly. This machine was heaven sent after the hell I went thru with another one. At first I was a little intimidated by all the different options but its quite easy to use. And surprisingly it for really well stacked in our small upstairs laundry room. Definitely worth the purchase!

quiet and well built - much nicer than the noisy cheap pair that were here for 15 years

I had a front load washer many years ago and am glad to have another. This machine is very efficient. Lots of different settings for all different clothes. Love it!
