    I had a lot of expectations for this TV but I was quickly disappointed. Not sure if it was a defect with my particular TV but the screen was all jumbled and stuff would bounce around. Hoping it was a fluke and not a common issue.

    TV BROKE AFTER 14 MONTHS

    When I first got the TV I thought it was great. And it remained to be great until some of the pixels broke only after 14 months. I got two red lines going across the T.V., one horizontal and one vertical. I don't think that should happen only after 14 months. Very disappointing.

    Just a month after the warranty expired, the TV wont turn on anymore. The power indicator and the screen will just blink then turns off. And it keeps repeating until you unplug it. We contacted Samsung, no resolution. We contacted Best Buy and they want us to pay to have it repaired. Should've went to Costco for better customer support and service.

    Somebody dropped this before I opened it. Frustrating. Waiting for my 5 min call back from best buy to remedy the issue but its been 15 min.

    The T.V was bought for my daughters birthday, we opened it and set it up and there was a damaged spot on the screen. Very disappointed.

    It was very easy to set up, though I'm not into Hulu and things like that, I was able to bypass those options, get the tv up and running within about 15 minutes, that includes the time spent putting the feet on. Works great, nice picture. One thing I do love about it is the fact that when I want to watch DVD's, I simply have to turn on the player and the tv automatically switches to the correct input where with my old one, I had to go through the input feature and locate the correct site... the only other thing I had a problem with was the fact that the feet are so far apart, I actually brought home the wrong tv, I had measured distance between the feet because my stand was only 30 inches wide, this was just a liitle wider so I had to buy a new stand as well. I do wish there was a better selection of tv's that had stands instead of feet, the tv's are so wide now that they don't fit on the stands people have. I have an old house with plaster walls and would be afraid to mount this on the wall.. not because of the weight, but there has always been difficulty even hanging pictures, the plaster chips and cracks. I would recommend this tv to anyone however, I am very happy with it over all!!

    First off, I will start by saying this is my first 4K or Smart TV, which I was sceptical about both. I went from an Insignia 32" to a Vizio 40" to this one. It is by far worth the extra money. Samsung is a reputable brand and they did not disappoint. One of the coolest features that I hadn't really seen on any reviews is how easy it is to link your (Android-based) phone to the TV. With the click of a button I'm able to mirror my phone to the TV!

    This television has the clearest picture and the best sound. It's lightweight and easy to set up. I am especially impressed with the Smart TV performance and how easy it was to connect it to my internet.

    Finally Settled on this One

    Over the past week I have tried the TCL 5 series with Roku, the LG UK6090 and finally this one. The picture is slightly better than the LG and the SmartTV interface is well done. The picture clarity, refresh rate, brightness and the blacks are stunning, for this price range. The TV provides a number of web based channels that are not bad but the LGs selection is better. The sound is great but could use a little more bass. For my bedroom, the sound is more than adequate. I would recommend a sound bar I a larger room. Now, after returning the TCL I realized that as a longtime Roku I just needed to pickup a 4K Roku stick. ThisTV was my original choice but the 2 HDMI ports made me go with the LG but after trying out all 3 this is the one that won out. I am surprised that Samsung skimped on a 3rd port. Not a good move. I noticed a lot of people opting for the LG for that reason. My only gripe is the remote. The Exit buttons placement is terrible. During setup you are using the navigation arrows and the Exit buttons placement caused me to accidentally hit it after entering a lot of text. Oh, this does integrate with the new SmartThings app and slows you to control your TV from your mobile device.

    I bought this for use as a computer monitor and it's working great. I calibrated it for photo work and the color was really good before the calibration. Ths black levels are also really good too. With dim lights on in the room, this TV looks totally black (when there are blacks) but in a totally dark room, the screen is not completely dark. That said, It would have to be dark enough that you can't see your keyboard or mouse to see that the screen is not completely black. Anyway,it does fade if you're not right in front of it, but that's not an issue for my use. Also I can get right up close the screen and it always looks clear. When watching 4k video, it's amazing!!!! For the money, I am completely happy with thisTV/Monitor. BTW, when I print to the printer, the print exactly matches what I see on the screen. That tells me that the color on the TV is close enough to perfect. After calibration, the software reported a 99.7% accuracy to srgb color gamut. It doesn't get much better than that. So... As a computer monitor used for general use and photo editing, I highly recommend this as a low cost alternative to a normal computer monitor. Is 43 inches too big for a computer monitor? Nope!
