Every TV purchase I've made in the last 10 years has been a Samsung. Simply put, every Samsung TV I've owned has not disappointed me in terms of quality and ease-of-use. Plus, in terms of value, you get the best bang for your buck (same quality and experience as higher priced televisions and costs the same as budget brands such as Vizio). However, this particular size and model has a BUG in it - it does not allow you to change the aspect ratio for older, 4:3 programs streamed via the Hulu app. So all of the older programs you watch on Hulu will be stretched. For any other people who have cut-the-cord in terms of cable and rely soley on instant streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Vudu, etc., buyer beware. I hope Samsung can solve this problem with a software upgrade, bur as of now (February 20, 2019), this small yet very annoying problem has yet to be resolved.

this tv is the perfect size for my bedroom, very lightweight as well. The picture is beautiful and setup was pretty easy. Highly recommended!

Bought this on a Black Friday Sale at Best Buy for a nice price. It is light as a feather compared to my 8 yr old Sony 40" HD TV. Easy to install with adequate # of HDMI inputs and a Firewire output to the soundbar system. Installed quickly. Love the picture. Was easy to link the TV to my internet. We were able to add several apps as well. The remote is relatively easy to use, but we have another Samsung set so we were pretty familiar with the controls. Overall, for the money, this set is a great value. Would purchase it again.

I’ve only owned this tv for a little over a month but a good tv for me nowadays has to have a decent screen size (dependant on watching distance), 4K res, be a smart tv (of course), wall mountable, have a good price to quality ratio and easy to use. Well this tv is a great buy for the price I paid. I think around $387 with taxes and extended warranty (Always get the warranty) and so this tv delivers on all of the points above so it gets a solid 5 stars from me.

This tv is great. It has so many apps and it even comes with a few tv channels. The picture is crisp and clear. My son watches YouTube all the time. Easy to access apps. There’s only 2 things: you can’t control the tv without the remotes & it disconnects from WiFi every so often but connecting it back is very easy. I mounted this tv up on the wall and it looks amazing. I would recommend this tv. Great for the price.

Both amazed and disappointed that this tv is so darn nice. The clarity of picture is better than my 55” Samsung. The user interface is better. The streaming of Netflix and Prime Video works easier and better. Setup was a snap. We use it in our bedroom and the size is perfect. Super glad Best Buy offered this tv at a price I couldn’t say no to. But now I want to replace my 55”.

The picture is great, love the Smart TV functions. Super convenient and easy to use. I don’t like that you have to push several buttons to set sleep function on. This TV is used in bedroom and I wish the sleep button on the remote would just let you choose time and be done. Instead it takes you to menu to set time. Just a minor inconvenience for otherwise great TV.

Needed a larger tv for the living room but less than 50 inches. For under 300 dollars this Samsung has an amazing picture. The Smart TV feature is so nice! No add-ons needed anymore, just the tv and the remote. Got rid of the Roku and The Chromecast. Would have saved money to buy the tv 2 years ago. Easy to set up, put ours on a swivel wall mount.

After trying to research tvs online (color gambits, true blacks, who cares) I took the plunge and bought the NU6900. I was not disappointed. The pictures it produces are rich and deep with HDR only enhancing the image. The screen is brighter than my TCL and Visio in normal mode. The tv speakers do a great job with everyday viewing. Now for the bad: The remote. This is a full size remote crammed into a small modern style. Because of this, the buttons you'll use most often, the navigation buttons are difficult to use. You will be pressing the wrong buttons often. The app menus. The tv comes with the standard set of apps, a web browser and some free streaming ch (non 4k). The app menu is far more complicated to use than ones used on Roku tv. It is customizable, and you can set it to have it not automatically come on when you turn on your tv. but the out of the box experience is lacking. If space is a factor pay the few extra dollars and get this tv over the competition. The great picture will more than make up for it.

Bought this TV based on good ratings and past purchases of Samsung products. Lots of options on it and a really good picture. Perfect size and light weight means it will work as a great TV to hang on the wall.

Wasn't expensive, picture quality is awesome and the sound is pretty amazing for no external help, a.k.a. sound bar or speakers. Set up was easy, Last but not least.....my kitties loved the boxes. You just can't beat all of this.

I have had this tv for about a month now. Overall for me this tv has everything I need out of a 4K tv. I don’t use any of the smart features because I watch Netflix, Hulu through my PS4. I have my Uverse setup to this tv as well. The quality is amazing, my favorite feature is having the tv detect which device is in use and switching to that input. The only hiccup I have come across is the motion blur one time caused the frame rate to skip while watching tv. The tv does warn you about this happening if this feature is applied. Overall I would say this purchase was definitely worth it.

Snagged it on sale the week after Black Friday. First off, I need to say that Best Buy is stepping up their game with customer service. I walked in, got my order, and was ready to go so fast I complimented the employees involved and chatted for a few minutes about how streamlined their service was. Do you want repeat customers, BB? Because that's how you get repeat customers. The TV itself is brilliant for what I paid for it ($300). Out of the box there are issues, which if you want a flawless setup you'll listen to this review. You need to download a firmware update via a computer and USB drive. Download said update from the Samsung website and extract the file to the flash drive. Make sure nothing else is on it. Plug it into the TV and back out of the "setup" the TV tries to get you to do. Just click through and select "do not connect to wifi." After that you'll be able to get to the settings where you can navigate to firmware update option. Select this and the TV will auto recognize the thumb drive. Install, then restart the TV. Boom, you can connect to wifi and set up as intended. The picture needed a little tweaking to minimize the soap opera effect caused by the higher refresh rate (which makes this TV good for gaming by default). Get an optimal picture setup from https://www.rtings.com/ Overall, after dealing with that, it's a great TV. Viewing angles are limited, so this is ideal for a bedroom or smaller den area. The main menu has some advertisements initially, but do your best to set up a solid profile and they'll go away.

This TV is exactly what I needed. Picture is great and was easy to set-up. Also very light weight. I do have apple tv hooked up so not sure about the smart functions, although they seemed just fine when I tried them.

I've had this TV for over 2 months now and it looks pretty fantastic. Samsung makes great panels. It has pretty deep blacks for what it is and has some nice colors. I was however a bit disappointed by the speakers, but your mileage may vary depending on the room its in. My biggest complaint with the TV is it's lackluster software. I run into lag spikes constantly, especially when changing settings. The remote is hard to get a feel for so navigating menus in the dark is a hassle. This can be mostly fixed with getting a Roku or Amazon Fire TV product. Overall it is a pretty decent TV, especially for the price.

Tv is light weight and easy, has beautiful and magnificent, vibrant colors. 4K quality and crystal clear picture quality made this a great Christmas present buy for my coworker. Definitely recommend it!!

Love this TV so much that I bought 4 on Black Friday. Great picture quality and value. Love the smart TV- Has AirPlay, and many apps that you can down load. Easy to set up.

Beautiful picture with exacting clarity and definition. The set up was ultra easy and the light weight of the set makes it convenient to move from room to room, too.

Great size for teens bedroom! Awesome smart t.v. Light weigh and easy to mount. I had to go get another one for my bedroom! Price is super reasonable..
