Yoi get what tou pay for, very light and cheaply made. Im a Samsung guy thats all I own but when I say stay away from this. My 46 inch I had in my bedroom finally went out after 5 yrs so I had to get another one. My money was a little funny so I ordered this one and was very very disappointed. I took it back the next day and went on and spent a little extra and got the Samsung I’ve come to love and enjoy

Very difficult to connect to wifi. Best Buy and UPS will not let you return it.

If your DU6900 TV is having difficulties connecting to the internet, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Check the network and the status of your access point.
2) On the remote control, press the button and move to Settings using the directional button.
3) Select Settings > General > Network > Network Status to check the network status.
4) If the network isn't connected, a network reset may be required.
5) Make sure that your access point is working correctly. Check the LED indicators on your access point to ensure it is operating normally.
6) Check the access point location if you use a wireless access point. If the access point is too far from the TV, move it closer.
7) Try rebooting the access point by disconnecting and reconnecting the power connector. It may take 1 to 2 minutes until the access point comes back online after a reboot.
8) If the same problem continues, select Settings > All Settings> General > Network > Network Status > IP Settings to change to a different DNS server. If a test occurs, cancel it and select IP Settings.
9) Select DNS Setting Enter manually.
10) Select DNS Server, enter 8.8.8.8, then select OK.
11) If the same problem continues, a software update or factory reset may be required.

My TV has been very slow since I bought it, and now after one year ,black and white stripes have started appearing on the screen constantly. It also started making a horrible noise, and after the noise it stopped showing any picture. Solution ? Get a new one ! Best Buy offer to me tv repair by $190

Trying everything possible to make full picture on tv you pay for 50 in of tv an will be ready to get only 40 in of the screen u can see full screen on air tv or some app but not on any movie on any app they just gray out the options to fit the screes and on their samsung page they have the ridiculous explanation.... some movies wouldn't fit the screen im about to return this tv

Thank you for purchasing the DU6900 TV. Please know that HD channels will have black bars on either side of the screen when displaying upscaled SD (4:3) content. Black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen when watching movies with aspect ratios different from your TV. Adjust the picture size options on your external device or set the TV to full screen.
Go to: Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Size Settings > Picture Size

After 4 month of use the display panel got separated from the TV itself and It got damaged and they dont repair because they just said it was a 3 month warranty instead a 1 year warranty that i was told when i bought it.

Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit, damage could have been done.

I purchased this TV a couple of weeks ago to replace a 15 year old Samsung LCD that was a higher end model at the time with a fantastic picture. I was concerned about going from 120Hz to 60Hz because motion problems and judder really annoy me. I've found this TV to handle motion very well with the exception of a few channels or a few programs. The judder control fixes that, but I find I have to turn it off again when I switch back to another channel. It's so few channels or programs where it happens that it's fine. The motion setting itself dims the picture substantially and creates some odd pulsing. So I don't use that either. Don't need it. It took me a while to get it calibrated to how I like it, but once I did I felt like this picture is fantastic especially for the price of $250. The picture is sharp with nice contrast and black levels. The viewing angle is decent, but can definitely tell a difference off center. This doesn't bother me because I have it in the bedroom directly in front of the bed. It also has a dimming feature based on the ambient light. I find that it works ok and not as good as my old Samsung. It seems to stay a little dimmer than I would want during the day, but I don't often watch it during the day. It's full of adjustments that one might not normally find in a lower priced TV. There are adjustments for nearly any picture setting (although I miss backlight in my old TV as this one just adjusts brightness, it's still ok). It does have a sleep timer and it can handle voice commands (the remote that comes with it is not a voice remote though). I'm not a fan of the remote. I miss all the buttons of the old Samsung remote that has shortcuts, especially sleep timer. The good news is that the old Samsung remote works with this TV. It's not perfect, but does the job. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase especially for the price.

That said, HDR performance is limited—brightness and contrast fall short of premium models, leading to a more muted HDR experience. This is consistent with professional testing, which notes its poor HDR brightness and lack of local dimming. With its 60Hz panel and Motion Xcelerator, the TV handles motion reasonably well for sports and casual gaming. Input response is good, and it supports VRR (variable refresh rate) at 4K 60Hz, making it suitable for console gamers who don’t need high‑end performance.

The Samsung TV is such a reliable and easy TV to own. The picture is sharp and the sound is excellent. I like this brand so much that I have 3 of them in different rooms and sizes. The Smart TV features are great and I like that I can tap into the internet with them. Samsung is pushing boundaries. They give the best hardware, memory, ram, processor, display, and cameras, in their phones. They are simple to operate and have had no issues.
