We've owned Samsung HDTV's for many years, from Plasma, LCD, to LED versions. While I knew 4k offered four times the resolution, I wasn't sure if it would be that much of an improvement over 1080P. Boy! Was I wrong! Especially with Samsung's new QLED line. Truly amazing picture in regards to color, contrast, sharpness,and detail. Older movies, even DVD's look cleaner and more crisp. We just watched our Blu-ray version of Avatar, and we saw things we'd never seen, or at least noticed, before. Set up is easy and fast. The biggest surprise is the remote. Instead of having rows upon rows of tiny buttons, there are perhaps a dozen of them. It takes a bit of getting used to, but the onscreen menu guides you with minimal headaches. Be sure to get one of Samsung's 4k players too. We opted for the 9500 series. So far, no regrets.

This TV has a great picture plus it has a very attractive look about it. The stand is attractive and sturdy. The one connect box is a great idea to eliminate chord clutter from the back of the TV. Navigating through the menus is very easy.

We love our new Samsung QLED it is soo thin hanging on the wall. The picture is crisp and the colors are so bright and vibrant. The smart hub is a real game changer too and so much more convenient

I love this TV except for the edge backlighing, which is why I rated it a 4. For the price though, it is an excellent TV. This 4K HDR TV has great brightness, depth, and contrast, and native 120hz refresh, for less than a OLED equivalent TV and no screen retention problems. I look forward to Samsung going to a better backligthing technology in future models... The remote is very simple and useful with one connect directly connected devices. I thought the one connect box might be challenging, but it works quite will in my scenario. Watch out for the one connect to panel fiber link cable though. It is fragile. If you wall mount this thing is takes a bit of care and patience to connect the fiber link and power cable as spacing is tight. For wall-mounting larger size versions of this TV, having a couple of people to hold the TV while making the cable connections makes the process much more manageable. Other than that, setup was a breeze.

I was planning on getting a lower series Samsung but I’m really glad I went with the Q7. The picture is perfect, the bevel is basically nonexistent, and the stand is a work of art. I ended up mounting the TV but I wish I had a spot to set it on something so that I could see the stand. Oh, and the remote and connect box thing are awesome. I didn’t have room for my cable box next to the TV nor did I want to try to mount it horizontally on the wall, so I placed the connect in a room behind the mounting wall. The coolest feature of the connect box is that I think it acts as a RF repeater.

Picture is great. Enjoy the ease of changing channels and volume...just tell the remote what channel and to raise or lower volume. I remember the old days before the remote. As the youngest, it was my job to get up and change channels. There is a box that allows you to connect all the wires to the box. Very simple connect and if you have any questions, you can call Samsung and they will lead you through it. Very simple TV to use. I opened a Best Buy card and received another 10% off the price in the form of a credit toward another purchase. Have no complaints after 2 weeks.

Easy to set up and use. Great picture and very intuitive to operate. Thin, light, attractive and best TV I've ever had. Highly recommend.

I love this tv. There's a pretty hardcore fan base for qled or oled tv's. Personally I didn't want to risk having any of the issues of an oled tv. All in all the tv does great at 4k both with movies and my PlayStation 4 pro. I really like the one connect box and the voice activated remote it makes everything so easy, and if you have mostly Samsung products like I do everything recognizes each other seamlessly. Not disappointed at all.

The television is performing very well. The sound is better than expected. The controls need to be pointed directly at the T V and response is simultaneous. The color and clarity is what was expected for the model selected. the installation buy Geek Squad was exceptional. They knew what they were doing and were very neat and they worked quickly to leave the home as clean as they found it.

Since installing it, I have watched several items in 4k uhd and they are amazing. Sports are clear and I don't get any jumping. Now I can see what some of the folks in the stands are eating. OK - that part isn't always good, but that's not the TV's fault. The setup on this was much easier than I expected. It makes me want to start getting DVDs in UHD, which means upgrading other components.

I purchased this television after doing a lot of research. I loved that it is very flat, and mounts almost flush with the wall. The cords are so small that they virtually dissapear against the wall. The frame is minimal with the picture going practically to the edge. The picture is brilliant an blacks are so black. Friends insist on coming to my place for movie night now.

I recently purchased a Samsung QLED 55" Television and I just love the clarity of the picture! Very brilliant colors, awesome TV all the way around! And the young lady that helped me in that Department was so very helpful in answering all my questions about the TV. Thanks Best Buy for once again being the "Go To" Store for all your electronic needs!!!

My wife loves this TV because it is so bright and has deep rich colors. As a purist, I almost find the colors too bright, but most people when they see it go 'wow'. It has a one connect box, which is nice for wall mounting as you can add HDMI devices easily without trying to get behind the TV. The remote is minimalist, but works well using the voice control option. Overall, I am very pleased with the QLED TV.

Love it! Best picture ever, easy setup,and very user friendly. Have bought Samsung for last 20 years and will not buy anything else. Replaced a 50” Samsung projection with this 55” Qled. The projection still had a great picture but need lamp replacement and was time for new one.

Bought the series 8 originally loved it but returned it because of a dead pixel issue and upgraded to this it was a huge difference both in picture and price.It is beautiful, picture for 4K gaming is incredible. I’m very happy with it the only reason it gets 4 stars is for the control which is the same as the series 8. The control is just not up to par with the TV, for the price.

This is my third Samsung TV and it is the best!!! The others were state-of-the-art (at the time) and very good....this is just OUTSTANDING!!! One thing to know is the accompanying mini manual is only for INITIAL SETUP...you need to go to Samsung's website to get the FULL OWNERS MANUAL... This will give you a lot more info and peace of mine... As for the tv....picture is flawless and the tv speakers are not bad at all. I have always used my Yamaha receiver for use with the tv but I have lately been using the tv speakers more than in the past. The One Connect for this tv is also very good. It simplifies the connections for everyone...regardless of how much you know about these things. I'm 70 years old and mastered this right out of the box. I have NEVER seen sooooooooooo many colors in my LIFE.... Vivid and vast, is all I can say. You will NOT go wrong with a Samsung TV. Hope this helps........

Loved the tv, amazing picture and my favorite remote ive ever had. The seperate one connect box for plugging all your external devices in rather than connecting directly to the tv also was a great idea. Initially out of the box, I had connected the new Sonos playbar and the new 4K apple TV I also had just purchaced and everything worked great until I connected my PS3 to the one connect box. The PS3 would somehow shut off the playbar and Apple TV and would not come back on no matter what I tried. I contacted Samsung, they took remote control of the TV to troubleshoot but could not fix, they said it was probably compatibilty issues with PS3 but that their was nothing wrong with the TV, and suggested I contact Sony. Sony had me try many different setting changes but could not fix, and suggested I purchase PS4. I was unhappy so instead of purchasing PS4 I returned the TV and purchased the LG OLED TV. Everything now works as advertised, much happier.

I bought this to replace an Samsung 8500 which has on awesome picture as well. The biggest difference is the colors just seem to jump out at you. My wife and I are constantly commenting on how stunning the clarity and colors are! Good job Samsung!

The HDR is amazing on this set. The qled isn’t the same technology as the oled so it won’t get the same blacks but since it’s still an LCD the glare isn’t as bad in my room with a lot of natural light. The colors on this thing are ridiculous.

Our 39" Sony TV had started to misbehave, so with the Super Bowl approaching, it was time to replace it. We read tests from consumer magazines as well as online reviews, and had decided to go to 55", and went to the store planning to buy a Samsung. We saw the model we'd researched, but behind it was the Q7. At that moment, I knew we needed to adjust the budget. 4K, even upscaled from HD is pretty stunning. This set has much deeper blacks, a wider color range, and a better field of view (to the side, before picture quality falls off) than most of the other sets we'd seen. I particularly like the very thin border, rather than the picture frame that older sets have. It does make the glass screen a little more delicate, so pay attention to the excellent instructions that BestBuy provides. We chose to wall mount the unit (see the Samsung flush mount bracket). It was surprising how much that seemed to open up the room. The Samsung software will walk you through the setup process. If I have a gripe, it would be that the manual and quick start paperwork leaves out detail that I think would make it smoother. But in the big scheme of things, you can find walk-throughs and calibration advice online. Overall, we're very pleased with the Q7.
