wonderful picture, easy to navigate the controls just a great tv

I am actually glad I waited the morning after to buy this TV. I went that night to get the Q60 and after talking to one of the salesman I was convinced that the Q70 would better fit my needs, however, it was more expensive. I decided to go home and sleep on it. I woke up early that morning to find out the price had dropped by $300.00 I immediately purchased it online and picked up in the store. I love it. Glad I waited.

This tv after after 2 months still amazes me with all of its features. Everyday I fine something new I can do on it. Everything I am looking for takes just a few clicks on the remote it finds my DVD player Apple TV iPhone photos mirroring its all there on one remote. Prime tv Netflix all there one click. Easy to navigate with the home button and the picture is just incredible crisp beautiful colors love this tv.

Very well consrtucted TV. It does not ship with mounting bolts, so you will need to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and purchase 4 M8 bolts. TV was very easy to hook up and fit on existing wall TV mount. This is the Q70R from the 2019 lineup. It has many more features than this year's Q70T. It does feature local dimming while this year's Q70T does not. It also is much brighter than the Q70T. It does feature a true 120Hz panel and can display 4K at 60Hz. Load up some 4K youtube Samsung clips for great demos of what this TV can do. The menus and oboard apps are very good and the TV has a very snappy interface. The OTA tuner pulls in a lot of stations via the antenna and there are many samsung smart TV IPTV stations built in. The usual flavor of streaming apps are available so you do not have to use a Roku/FireTV/Apple TV. As for Gaming, this is a very good alternative to OLED TV's in terms of budget. The LCD panel is a VA panel and it really doesn't suffer from side viewing too bad. The LCD screen will also not have any image retention. The 120Hz refresh rate makes gaming smooth with no lag. The TV does get very bright and the HDR content from Xbox and PS4 look very good. It supports AMD FreeSync as well, so hooking it up to your AMD graphics card on your computer will work very well. I would suggest using rtings.com settings for a decent calibration. However, the default settings out of the box are quite good. You may only need to adjust the backlighting to suit your viewing taste.

Picture is great. Preloaded apps were helpful. We were able to add own apps with ease. Great TV.

I really love this TV. The picture quality is great and this model features local dimming to help contrast when the same scene has light and dark elements. The built-in streaming apps are snappy (I use a wired internet connection to the TV's ethernet port) so I don't even bother turning on a game console or Roku for Netflix/Hulu/etc anymore. It even has a SteamLink app for playing games from your PC over your home network!

This is a great TV, Great picture, great sound quality and color. Can't go wrong w/ Samsung

I LOVE this tv set... it replaced our 1080p Samsung model from 2014. While Q90 disappointed on several fronts (see my review under Q90r) this TV is everything I wanted out of my 4k TV and it is 3 times CHEAPER! The only compromise was angle viewing and reflection filter over Q80 and Q90 ... but gain and picture quality is much better, more realistic vs crushed blacks and contrast issues on both Q80 and Q90.

Everything you could want from a tv. Easy set up. Great picture. The viewing angle is amazing.

I first purchased the Q60 which is a very good tv, it was a little dark so I went with the Q70 which has full array backlighting which makes a huge difference. This is the best TV picture your gonna get without spending a lot more money on a OLED, watching this tv is hard to explain because it is like watching a broadway play , it is so lifelike it’s amazing, if your thinking of buying this TV buy it you’ll love it

TV has great blacks and bright vivid colors and the tv is really smart when it comes to adaptation

This tv has great quality and sound. It has cool features that I did not expect.

Seemed like a good value for a quality TV. My Dad would not have benefited much from a more expensive model with a slightly better picture but I wanted to get him something very nice. My Dad really enjoys the picture quality. Not all Mounts come with the screws necessary for this TV. They are available at Home Depot and described in the Samsung instructions. We reused a recently installed mount so had to purchase the screws.

Awesome TV. Crisp color and picture. Easy to set up. Still exploring all the features.
