I went from a 50” plasma to the 65” Q70 series Samsung and what a nice upgrade. Recommend highly. Well worth the money spent. The picture is amazing. Was going to go with the Q60 series, but the better backlighting features on the Q70 are definitely the way to go.

We purchased this TV for our living room. I could not be happier. The speakers are way better than I thought. The bass is really good for a flat-screen. The image quality is superior as well. I also like that the apps available cover most of the streaming services we watch so we do not have to depend on a streaming device such as firestick. I did not like the simple remote at first, but I have adjusted to it now and really like it. I use the voice control all the time and it is very good. I would recommend this TV to any of my friends and family.

In interest of full disclosure, a lot of my happiness comes from scoring an AMAZING open box deal on this TV. That said, OMG it's so good. Long story shorter, after our 2016 (yea, I know... not long) Samsung 55" 4k TV somewhat died, I did a ton of research on 65" 4k TVs in my budget and decided the Hisense H8F was the one for us. I have to say, for the money the picture was incredible. Maybe even drop the "for the money" part. It was a fantastic looking 4k screen but that's where the good news stops. On day 1 we had issues with it not wanting to turn on. Add to that sluggish native apps and OS and we decided to return it. We almost just swapped it for another H8F but the Magnolia guy I talked to said they were having an incredible sale on some of their demo units. Incredible was an understatement. I honestly was REALLY scared of another Samsung since our last one seemed to die really quickly but I did some quick research while I was on speaker with the store and saw the Q70 had amazing reviews and was a step (or three) up from the H8F. Since I couldn't go in the store to even see this TV, I had to make a decision on specs and the word of the sales guy alone. I took the plunge having been talked into just getting geek squad coverage to ease my mind about the open box. The great news is that we didn't have to assemble it :) Once we got the TV home and unwrapped the bubble wrap it was pristine and the setup could not have been smoother. Having just been watching another TV a couple hours earlier, the difference was very noticeable. First the OS was much snappier. I guess I am in the minority when it comes to TV OS's because I never liked the Samsung interface. Well, times have changed and the subtle differences between this one and the OS on our last Samsung made all the difference. We LOVE the guide built in and actually really like a lot of the "free" stations Samsung provides out of the box that I don't think we'd get otherwise. I would even say our happiness with some of the OS features would make us not really want anything but a Samsung going forward. The picture is also incredible. After some tweaking (though I don't really love the settings I found on Rtings... I prefer a brighter picture than they seem to like) it really shines. I have only had the TV for one day and I know really anything can go wrong but I feel confident with the protection plan I have that if it does, I'll at least just get a new version of the open box I bought. Highly recommend this TV (so far)!!!

i'm not sure not everyone does enough research to get a good idea of what they're buying typically. me, personally, i'll spend at least a week going back and forth between items trying to figure out what is the best bang for the buck based on my needs. and this is by far the best bang for the buck. quality is awesome and the speakers are amazing for being inside the tv. i'm overall super impressed by the quality of this tv and super happy with the deep blacks that it produces. this is definitely a tv to buy if you're in the market.

I went from a low end 50 inch 4K Samsung Smart TV to this 65 inch Samsung Q70. I upgraded because I wanted something a little bigger and I caught this one on sale. It was still pricey but I wanted something a little more high-end. So far I am absolutely loving this TV and I don't regret my purchase at all. The picture quality is phenomenal. Super bright screen, vibrant colors and deep blacks. I've played a few games with HDR enabled and it looks fantastic. Although I haven't had many TV's over the years to compare it to, it is by far one of the best screens I have seen on a TV in a long time. The interface on this TV is also really great. It's very similar to my old Samsung Smart TV; there are subtle differences but it's much the same. However, everything is a lot more snappier and faster. You can tell that this one has a lot more processing power. Samsung TV+ returns and it's also good. Not the greatest but you can't really complain about free TV channels. And of course all the popular streaming apps come pre-installed, such as Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, etc. Streaming from my computer and mirroring my phone to the TV are a breeze. No complaints when it comes to the software installed on the TV, Samsung delivers as usual. There's also a lot of little things that I've noticed that make me love this TV. To start, the bezels are super thin, and for such an enormous TV, it's relatively thin, too. There are plenty of inputs, 4 HDMI's, 2 USB ports, ethernet, etc. There's Bluetooth support, so you can use a keyboard and mouse to browse the internet or do whatever, which works rather nicely. The remote control also uses Bluetooth which is very much appreciated, so no more having to make sure you're pointing it at the TV. The remote also has a mic built in so you can interact with Bixby and use voice commands, and although Bixby isn't my favorite voice assistant, it works quite well! Also, the remote is pretty slim and has a minimalistic design, but also has a lot of functionality and I really like it for that. So overall, this TV has exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a TV. Samsung has always been ahead of the game when it comes to screen technology and it really shows here. And of course their software is top-notch, too.

So happy with this purchase! After reading all the reviews and the suggestion from a Best Buy associate at Christmas time who recommended this TV, I finally broke down and purchased this one. He was correct and this is a wonderful TV! It was easy to set up and the picture is wonderful! There was a problem with the Apple TV being added, but I contacted the geek squad and they helped me remotely and we did a reset and it works perfectly! Highly recommend this TV as well as the geek squad protection! You won’t regret it.

Fast motion rate is great for watching sports! One small negative is it did not initially link up to my blue tooth soundbar. I had to hook it up with a wire. Orginal speakers that come with TV are actually much better than most if needed. Picture is crystal clear with great upscaling. It really is as clear HD as you can get without getting a direct 4K signal. Smart panel is awesome! A great buy, you are getting 2019 technology.

This TV was a great value for my money . My “not so old Sony” stopped working at the beginning of the coronavirus stay at home order. The repair man told me that the problem was unrepairable. Samsung came highly recommended. I went to Best Buy online, found the right TV, bought it online, drove to the store and the TV was slipped into the back of my car. We brought it home, set it up and were amazed by the spectacular picture quality and ease of navigating through the features. I would buy this TV again!

I'm extremely pleased with the Q70. From the picture to the easy setup, this TV has met my expectations. The only drawback I've had is the TV switches the audio output back to the TV speakers even when I select optical. From research on the net, it appears to be a software glitch throughout the Samsung line and not just this model. It's annoying to say the least as when it switches to the TV speakers, the sound bar still has audio which creates a bad echo. Hopefully Samsung has a software patch soon.

I did all my research, read reviews, and talked to a lot of people. Was so close to buying a nano led tv.. When it came down to it I ultimate purchased the Samsung Q70 65inch. I am not all all disappointed. What a great TV. Pictire quality is amazing. Even gaming. HDR10 is the way to go. I'm sure Dolby vision is good. But WOW. The crisp clean picture. Effortless hook up. Even pluged my Samsung soundbar up and tv already knew what to do. Such a great TV for the price!!!!

Easy to unpack. Initial setup was a snap using my mobile phone was extraordinarily easy. Linking to my Xfinity was flawless. My grandson, the remote king, and I were both so pleased with the ease of installing this TV. Awesome picture, lots of adjustments are available. Audio was actually rather good but as many will, I will use my my 7.2 receiver and Martin Logans for TV and movie audio. Boy, I was really happy with this purchase, the best ever of my 7 previous HDTVs.

Bought this 65" for the living room, and so far it was worth the money I paid for it in sale. Good image quality, great colors and bright enough once you calibrate the screen BUT Samsung's auto-dimming might drive you nuts unless you learn to live with it. This TV's replacing a KU6300 so we're already used to it. Even though it includes VRR, LFC and other gaming-related features (which were the #1 reason we chose this model) the local dimming is completely turned off in Game Mode. So, you have to choose between pretty good input lag or HDR; to me this isn't a problem since we mostly play local co-op or singleplayer games, but if you want the best of both options I'd look elsewhere.

Here’s my recent 1 month Best Buy journey... 1. 55” TCL R625 - Great 4K picture, bright, Roku operating system is the absolute best! Purchased on sale. Motion handling was unbearable. Returned 2. 65” Samsung RU7100 - Decent picture, not as bright as TCL but slightly better motion handling. Solid Samsung OS. Great price but uninspiring. Returned 3. 65” Samsung Q70R - Beautiful picture and upscaling, very bright, solid Samsung OS, great price at $950. I was expecting motion handling to be considerably better than RU7100 but it’s not. Kept reading reviews so without returning the Samsung I made another purchase... 4. 65” Sony X900F - Beautiful picture and upscaling, not as bright as Samsung, almost too many settings to tweak picture but 4K programming a bit better than Samsung because of this. HDR10 is unbelievable! Motion handling a tad bit better than Q70R. Android TV absolutely sucks! Because of the price I paid ($1200), laggy and unintuitive OS, and just a slightly better picture - returned. So, Samsung Q70R or Sony X900F? For me it came down to value. Go with the one you catch on sale. If price is the same, Samsung’s a bit brighter with better OS. Sony has a bit better picture with a sloppy OS. Hope this helps!

Great picture. Great settings. Easy initial setup. But after seeing what you like and dont like about the picture, go online and get help figuring out the best setting for you. Lots of features, Samsung TV programming is prebuilt in so you automatically get a ton of internet channels on top of your cable or ota. Tv is fairly smart with Bixby voice control but its still not as good as alexa or google. Would recommend.

Got this TV recently on sale and it was with it. Great sound, like if I had a sound bar. Picture is clear and bright. The simplified remote is a bit strange. While I like the small clean design, I do find I have to click a lot more buttons or hunt for menu items. I love the integration to my Note 10. There's some fun connected services like mirroring the TV onto my phone or playing the TV audio on my phone/BT headphones.
