We like this dryer a lot mainly because this is the first dryer we have bought brand new.

I purchased on sale would not pay full price love the color and love the cycle alerts

Very satisfied. Silent, easy to use and energy efficient.

I have not had a problem with the dryer. It has done everything just right.

Wanted dryer vented to right so chose this option at check out and confirmed over phone to make sure. When dryer arrived it was configured to back. I was assured that this could be corrected and someone was sent to reconfigure venting. Then told that Best Buy don't configure venting, despite the online staff telling you they do. A kit is available to do this but is quite complicated process and voids warranty. Sears sells dryer with this configuration.

Have had since the end of August and zero issues. Great dryer and it's fast. Huge capacity. Steam function is amazing and I haven't cracked out the iron since we bought it. Don't pull items out of the steam dry early or you may find them damp. We are very pleased with the purchase.

This thing works even faster than the washer I bought at the same time! It leaves the clothes as wrinkle free as one might reasonably expect and it does it very quickly without using high temperatures that can harm the fabrics. I have not yet had cause to try the steam function but expect it will simply add to the satisfaction I have gotten from buying this dryer. Those words (satisfaction and dryer) should never be uttered in the same sentence but really, this is a very good piece of equipment that has already made life easier around this house. I bought both the washer and the dryer from Best Buy and need to comment on the delivery service. I had just repainted my walls. They had to remove the old washer and dryer from the second floor down some relatively steep stairs and then wind around in a house that is not necessarily friendly to that process. Then they had to schlep the new machines in and up to the second floor. Not a ding. Not a scratch. Not a single problem. The guys were very respectful of my home and made every effort to do their work without leaving marks on my newly decorated walls. I was so impressed with how they went about their work in such a professional manner. I would buy from Best Buy again in a heartbeat.

delivery on time. good price. brought at the sale price. Delivery person placed the item at the correct site and offered taking off the old dryer (which I did not was included in the price of delivery). Easy to install and so far functioning very well. Steam to remove wrinkles is well worth the upgrade.

Pros - It has an auto sensor to detcect if the clothes are dry and how many clothes are in the dryer. On normal mode clothes have come out dry every single time. Normal time for drying is about 40-45 minutes for a large load of clothes. The wrinkle guard can be set to come on automatically so I do not have to get clothes out of the dryer as soon as it is finished. If the wrinkle guard is not turned on, there is a refresh mode with steam to get wrinkles out of the load in about 15 minutes Cons - When stacked the dryer sits back father than the washer so the washing machine has to be pulled out farther from the wall. This may be an issue with some utlity rooms. I took one star away for this on the overall rating.

I bought this dryer because it had a steam cycle and wrinkle removal cycle and they are wonderful. I remove wrinkles from my clothes every day before work, I don't think I'll have to iron ever again!

I purchased this dryer back in February 2014. I waited to do this review to see if I would still love it as much as I did on the day I bought it...and I do! I had put off purchasing a front load dryer for many years, but once my old dryer was about to die (or catch on fire) I knew it was time to upgrade. I'm so glad I did! This dryer is amazing. It gets used on an almost daily basis. I have used the steam cycle to freshen dry clean only clothes, washed down comforters and bedding, towels, kids' dirty soccer clothes, you name it. It dries very quickly and items always come out fresh. I love the Wrinkle Resistant feature as well. It will intermittently tumble the clothes (without heat) so when I'm ready to pull them out of the dryer there are no wrinkles! If you're looking for a hard-working, beautiful dryer, look no further because you found it. Also, I splurged and purchased the pedestal. It seemed like an unnecessary expense at the time but the added height and storage has been totally worth the extra cost. I absolutely recommend getting one!

We have this dryer with the matching washer and pedestals. They look amazing and they work even better. We installed them ourselves and it was a breeze. We've been using them for about 3 months now and I have nothing to complain about. This unit dries very well and it even gives you steam cycles. We got them on sale which makes them even better but they're well worth the price. The only thing I wish it would do is allow you to make the End of Cycle signal shorter.

Ok this dryer is very attractive to look at, I have to say right off. I was not sure about the Platinum because I have a highly visible laundry room, but the pair is beautiful (bought the coordinating washer also). I have them stacked and while they are just a few inches taller than the ones I replaced, I can still reach the controls and I am 5'2", so it is all good. I love the sensor feature and it WORKS. I also love that it will handle an entire load of towels, so be ready to fold! BUT the BEST feature of all is the steam feature! My son was in town and pulled a shirt out of his duffle (dress shirt, button down). Of course it was full of wrinkles and I tossed it in, hit the steam cycle; 20 minutes later, no wrinkles and it was fresh smelling too! AWESOME. I HATE ironing!

Recent addition to our family. So far I like the reduced drying time we are experiencing with our new dryer. Not enough usage yet to make a final verdict on Samsung product.

I bought this product due to the good price, nice looks, and apparent quality (I did check a few other reviews). Everything was fine until 11.5 months later when it stopped heating. It still tumbled but no heat. My thought was I was lucky, as I still had 2 weeks of warranty left. I called customer service, got assigned a service center in my area (Savannah GA), and was told they would call me back. A few days later, nothing. The service center would not return my calls or Samsung's calls. I guess it went out of business. Unfortunately, it looks like it was the only authorized service center in a 200 miles radius. Then Samsung assigned me a service center in Florida. One week later they call me back saying they couldn't find a technician to come to my house... Samsung decided to replace the dryer and informed me I would be contacted by Best Buy about the replacement. So far so good. Another week passed by and I was contacted by Samsung indicating my warranty EXPIRED!!! Even though my first contact was before it expired, they could no longer replace the dryer. The only thing they could do now was refund me a slightly depreciated amount (due to my almost 12 months of use). I had to decide between fighting them back to fix the now nice and decorative piece of hardware in my laundry or take the opportunity to switch manufacturers. I decided to return it and buy another dryer (NOT Samsung's) and go through another couple of weeks drying clothes by air conditioning hanging out throughout my house...

Quiet and efficient dryer. Steam cycle gets rid of all the wrinkles.

This dryer does a good job paired with the matching washer. It has all the cycle options you need (Maybe too many). Only complaint (slight) is that jeans don't always come out all the way dry and I have to throw them back in for 20 more minutes, but it's not that big of a deal.

I love this dryer. It dryers so quick. It has a large tub. Really quite also. I like the signal song when it is done.

Purchased the washer and matching dryer set about a month ago or so. The washer is one of the best performing washers I have ever owned. We have it located in our laundry room located about 15 feet or so from our living room and when we are doing the wash we can barely hear that is running and that is through all it's cycles. The loudest noise we hear coming from it is the chime when the load is completed. It definitely does a superior job at cleaning clothes than our other unit which was only 5 years or so old. That unit was also a front loader and it was a Samsung. The LG is also the Consumer Reports recommended best buy. Although we own it only several weeks, I would recommend this unit to others

Temperature settings are good and does not shrink my clothes.
