I again shopped for a new cell phone at Best Buy. Samsung Galaxy S7 fit the bill. It was a step up from S5, and had all that I needed. Great camera! Updated apps. Store agent was very knowledgeable and helped me transition to the new phone. I considered the S7 Edge or S8 Edge, but just thought they were too fragile for my needs. I love the phone, and buying at Best Buy!

Fast, every bell and whistle, excellent camera, durable.

Purchased the unlocked version so not to be locked into any further contracts with leasing. This phone replaced my HTC M8. Camera is better quality. Nice sleek finish. A slight learning curve from HTC but easy to adjust to. Minimal "extra" apps on unlocked compared to various carrier phones. Its waterproof to spills and short time submerged but haven't tested that. Battery live is decent, charge daily with email, games, phone, internet use. It will use more power with music streaming and GPS. Like the 4 hr fast charge option, which does cause more heat than slow charge. Overall, a nice looking, easy to use phone.

I held out for a long time, waiting for the right time to upgrade my Galaxy S4. With the Christmas sale it was offered at a great price. The best thing about a truly unlocked phone is the lack of "bloatware" from carriers. My S4 was an "unlocked" Verizon phone that I used with AT&T, and a lot of the functions did not work properly. Wi-Fi Tethering was the main problem. Overall this phone is excellent. The camera & features for it are unbelievable. I have a lot of apps on it, and there is zero lag like previous devices. With an added Micro SD Card, this is one of the best all-in-one device options.

This S7 is a good replacement for my S4, which died suddenly due to a Samsung software update I didn't request. Hopefully that will not happen someday to the S7. The S7 is a good phone and I've gotten used to the changes quickly. The battery is long lasting and SUPER fast charging. Love that feature. It is not overly bloated with a lot of apps. The few apps I have added worked quickly and effectively. The camera is great. Personalizing has been relatively easy. After 2 weeks, I discovered it came with McAfee virus protection, which is a nice plus. Initially I was not crazy about the Calendar app but it was updated the second day & then it was fine. Overall very happy.

This phone is really great. It works well and the battery is good for a long time. It is the right size, seems to take the bumps, and we took some pictures of fish and they are great.

Recently switched over to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and it's battery holds up better than any other phone i've had (LG V10, HTC One...). It also has very nice device management tools that allow your phone to keep running at the best of it's ability and keeps your phone clutter free.

Really great phone. Accidentally dropped it in a pool at work. Never missed a beat. stayed on the whole time I took the case off dried it off and it worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who needs something reliable small and very resilient.

I purchased the phone for my father who owns one for work. He enjoys the phone because it is simple and easy to use. Samsung always does a great job on their operating software, and the speed and power of the phone is better with each generation of the phone.

I bought the unlocked S7 to use on Tracfone since I had a lot of minutes and data rolled over. It was so easy to activate it and I could even chose which carrier I wanted. It worked so well that I ordered another a week later (in gold) and gave the black one to my husband. I'm glad we went with the unlocked phone so we can take them to a different carrier at a later date. The 32g internal storage is an improvement over my last phone, and I like that you can add a micro sd card even though there isn't much that can be stored on it. The camera is also very good. It works great in low light conditions.

The S7 has been my favorite phone from my first Galaxy the S3. It is a skinny phone which makes it nice for pockets even with my phone case.. the speed and features (camera, memory, storage, screen) are all still plenty fast enough for today's apps and usage style. I haven't been able to afford anything newer but having handled the new Galaxy models I like the size of S7 in my hands. The only problem is still the price point. Having bought this phone with the S9 released already I would have hoped for it to be a bit cheaper. But I don't feel as if I have sacrificed too much..

I bought this as an unlocked phone. The display is very nice. The battery seems to be good. I still haven't managed to activate it on my network because I haven't had a long enough block of time to do so. I give it 4 stars because it looks to be a promising purchase.

So far I have been very pleased with my purchase and am not suffering any buyer's remorse. Battery life for my normal mode of operation is much better than my older Galaxy model and I like a lot of the user-level features associated with the new hardware/OS.

I had the s5 now I have the s7.. worth the trade, my s5 started over heating,, 1, the camera,, not that much better, the photo software is a lotlater, this one even combines photos and let's me pick music to play along , nice,. The speed of everything is much faster, the feel of the unit is more solid, plus the case makes it feel like a 700$ phone,, on wIt it is.. in believable we are now paying g 700 to 1000$ for cell phones.. but . I do love this phone, such an improvement over the s5,, forget about Apple,, I'm staying with Sam, Galaxy for good

This is my first real smartphone, so I don't really know that much about them, but I do like the camera on this phone, something that for me was important in deciding which phone I wanted (I wanted a decent camera, which this has. Not the best ever but pretty good). The phone also has some other features that I like, like an always on display that shows the time, and it is fairly easy to use (pretty much like other cell phones). For me, it works nice, because its a slightly older model, but still has some good tech.

I upgraded from galaxy s5. I don't always find changes after using the same phone for several years. But this was a quick and easy transition. I was very pleased with the improved speed and reception. I have enjoyed all the new improvements. I found the size works well in storing it in the side pocket of my everyday billfold which was important. It's thinner and just a tad longer than the s5. I would recommend this upgrade for anyone who might find changes hard.

The phone was an excellent purchase. The pictures and videos are really good. Keeps a long battery charge and is quire fast.
