This phone is a huge upgrade for me coming from the HTC One M7. The S9 is fast, beautiful, and has a great camera. It's taking me a while to learn the interface because the buttons and ports are completely opposite the HTC. I find the S9 to be slightly too large to hold in the hand. I can't imagine using the Plus version. Overall, it's a great phone but kinda big.

Let me start by saying, I needed a new phone...desperately. I was carrying around a Galaxy s3 prior to this Galaxy s9. I love the fact that it is slightly larger than my old phone which is a huge PLUS for me. I really wasn't looking forward to lugging around a tablet size phone...no offense to anyone who prefers a larger phone. The camera takes beautiful pictures, nice crisp video too and you can zoom into it (not sure if that's a new feature, but still) pretty cool. Voice messaging thru text message enabled, video calls and the sound clarity all great! Not much of a Bixby fan, but so far, I'm loving this phone. Not a huge tech person, but little by little (and by watching youtube videos) I'm learning more ways to use it.

My initial reason to purchase the phone is the memory that the phone had. But after having the phone fir a few months, I dont know why I waited. First off, it is a phone that is crystal clear and easy to navigate. The texting features make messaging quick & easy. Little disappointed by the Bixby feature, but no one is perfect. Overall, a good phone.

Phone is as you would expect for a flagship Samsung device. Phone looks stunning, flies and camera is awesome. Battery life is good, charges fast and connectivity and reception works great.. nothing negative to say.

I recently purchased a new Sumsung S9 to replace my aging cell phone. So far I like this phone a lot. It is a sleek design and very user friendly. I like some of the new features like the Apps and People Edge apps.

I really like the new phone. It is faster than my old GS7 and the battery lasts much longer. It took a couple of days to get used to the fingerprint reader on the back, but it works much better than the old one.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S9+ for my daughter in law as her first phone in the USA. She loves it and has been very quick to figure it out. The battery life and screen resolution make this phone much better than the Iphone 8 in my opinion. The speakers have a high clarity and it is very easy to talk on this phone. Definitely would recommend this phone.

Last week one family member upgraded to the S9 and loved it so much that we did a second upgrade for a different family member and they selected the S9 also! The size is perfect and the camera is awesome.

I would definitely recommend this phone. It's fast and has a great screen. It also has an amazing camera that takes great photos. This phone replaced my wife's Galaxy S6, which was way overdue for an upgrade.

This Galaxy S9 replaced an S4. It's an all around better phone than the S4: faster, more storage, more stable, less bloatware (and what's there is easier to remove). The battery can last a long time when the phone isn't being used much and the wifi search has been turned off. If the phone is being used (screen on) the battery seems to drain pretty fast.

Great new phone! Nice camera, everything is easy to use. Only thing I dislike is the bottom of the screen. Every time I need to go back or home I have to pull those up as they disappear when using the phone.

This phone is nice & slim and pictures, info, etc. go from top to bottom and edge to edge of the phone. I like it better than the Galaxy s7 Edge and even the Galaxy 8 plus that my Father has. Love this phone.

I love Samsung and this phone is no different. Battery life is amazing and it works well. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the camera seems to get a touch worse over time instead of staying as good as the first picture. Mine you, pictures in sunshine are incredible but selfies are slightly off color and low light is not good

Pros: Fast, awesome screen, great sound, great build quality, USB-C Cons: new headphones sound good but don't fit well in ear, prefer S7 headphone design (with 3rd party silicone covers for improved fit).

battery life is amazing out of the box. let's hope it stays that way! came from a Note5 with a goal of getting a smaller phone in the hand and the S9 is perfect size even with an otterbox defender case

Super good phone for the value. Had Samsung phones before and have never had any problems other than old and needed replacing. Bought the Samsung Galaxy S9 and love it. The right size and easy to use

I upgraded to this from a Samsung Galaxy S6, and there is a world of difference. The camera is great, even in low and no light situations. Everything is fast and smooth, and I couldn't ask for more.

I bought the Samsung 9 to replace a Samsung Note 3 that kept locking up. I'm impressed with the updated features, especially in the camera. I use my phone for still photos and for videos. Shooting in 4K is a delight and various preset modes, such as HDR, are helpful. Because I do shoot lots of videos, I wanted to install an external micro SD card. Instructions on the internet said use a paperclip to open the slot. I couldn't make it work. I finally went back to Best Buy. They were great! Not only did they open the micro SD slot, they also gave me one of the "official" slot openings devices (looks like a paperclip, but is stronger). Since I do shoot so many photos and videos, my only regret is not getting the 9+, which has a built in telephoto and macro lens. The full screen display also works well. It was odd at first not having a home button, but you get used to it and the larger screen is a plus. The fingerprint sensor on the back works if you're holding the phone in one hand, but I also put the phone in a holder when in the car. Having the fingerprint sensor on the back doesn't work well in that scenario.

Samsung greatly improved their cell phone offering with the S-9. More intuitive, and easier to use. Wife has S-8,,,, and the S-9 is a much better machine. Great battery life, and sharp screen images.

This phone replaces my husband's previous Galaxy 5. He is pleased with the new phone, battery life, and features. It was an easy transition from the 5 to the 9... which makes my life much easier!
