A year ago I got an s9, and passed my s3 on to my wife who was using a flip phone, and didn't want a smart phone.Although the s3 was much more fun once she got the hang of it the phone was getting old and not as fast and powerful as my s9. When the s9 went on sale we immediately went to Best Buy to get it for my wife. Since I've been using mine for a year I've learned a lot about it and now am able to teach my wife. She loves it! Fast,powerful, charges quickly and wirelessly in our car. Go get one for YOUR wife!. I might add, we're both pushing 73.

Replaced my S7. Much quicker. Battery life much better. Very intuitive controls. I don't have any use for Bixby, I'd like to disable that Bixby button...

I upgraded to an S9 from an S7. The size is slightly larger, but I love how it feels in my hand. I'm still getting used to it and discovering the new features. I had Best Buy deactivate Bixby because of all the negative reviews I had read about it. I'm still trying to figure out how to get visible notifications for Messager. I'm also struggling with the ring volume on my house phone since I have the two connected. Two weeks is definitely not enough time for me to reset everything on this phone, but that does not diminish how much I like this phone.

Easy to use, intuitive, great design. Much better than an iphone. Long battery life, quick processor, awesome camera. Looks really good in blue.

I am a loyal Samsung phone owner. Updated from an S7 to an S9 and couldn't be happier. It's fast, battery life seems great, awesome camera etc

I love the smaller size. Had a S8+ and hated it for the bigger size. S9 has excellent battery life, great screen, and fast speed.

This is a great phone that takes excellent photos. The processor is quick and the device itself is thin and fits well in the hand.

Upgrading from an HTC One M8, this phone is light years ahead of the M8. Love the screen resolution and the latest version of Android. The front and rear cameras are top rate and take excellent photos. Only thing I don't like is the Bixby button on the left side of the phone that can be pressed inadvertently when trying to press the volume controls located just above it. I don't use Bixby at all in favor of Google Assistant. Would be nice to be able to disable that button.

Got this phone to replacean S7, what a difference in speed, camera quality and battery life. Would recommend to anyone.

Needed a new phone. Great camera and really holds a charge. Slim and light to hold. Love the Galaxy line of phones

I finally got around to upgrading from my old S5. I guess I really should I want with the S9 plus, because I thought this would be bigger than my S5. While it is not physically much larger, the full screen makes it seem larger. The internal storage is miles above what the S5 had though and that makes this phone much better. The operating system seems a lot quicker as well. The phone is still new to me so I have a lot more to learn about it but as of now I find it a quality phone.

Good phone, good camera, durable, fast, responsive and easy to transfer data. Plus bonus points because its not an iPhone...

Battery lasts surprisingly long, over 24 hrs. Fast processor. Great pictures. Good fingerprint reader. Great screen.

great battery life, superb display, fast. Camera exceeds expectations. Comes with Bixby which was a nice surprise.

My wife and I both bought new Galaxy S9 cell phones while on Christmas vacation and could not be more happy with them. There is a big learning curve to knowing how to use everything on them. We had to charge our old S4 minis more than once a day. The S9's will hold their charges for a couple of days without charging. They have a very quick response time whether going on the internet or checking messages. They have a great camera in them that we love.

New S9 is fast and has a great camera and storage. Only complaint is having to buy all new charging cords.

I have had this phone for two weeks and so far I love it. It's fast, easy to use and the camera is great.
