Finally found a phone I can keep for a long time with 64 gig. Takes great pictures and the sound is so much clearer when talking to someone than my previous phone , very fast loading, thin not heavy, Glad i choose Samsung. Nice soft blue color. The price was right.

I upgraded from a 4 year old Motorola Turbo cell phone two weeks ago and really like the Galaxy S9. Voice sound is good and dialing directory/contact list is different. Need to spend time to tweak it - set favorites. Subtle differences but so far no issues. Do like the narrow width and the curve glass is nice but really adds nothing to the use of the phone. So far the power battery usage is good going almost 2 days. I did buy a Zagg curved glass protector and that was mandatory. After a week I picked an OtterBox Pursuit and it does a nice job of protecting the curved glass. The picture quality is good and there is lots of options but have not explored them yet. Hope to have time over the holidays to explore the features. I waited for Black Friday sales and saved $300. Best Buy's early Black Friday sales made it easy to avoid the crowds.

Had an S7 which was a great phone, but after two years and all the system upgrades and normal wear and tear it finally needed to be traded in. Ended up going with the S9 and so far it hasn't disappointed. It's been fast, battery lasts longer, and has a ton of great features that I'm still exploring. Only downside I've found is that Samsung's version of Android Oreo takes away the feature of setting individual text notification tones for your contacts, but as long as you download a different messaging app like Textra, you'll be able to get past that little inconvenience. I also recommend downloading the Google Keyboard. You get a lot more functionality out of it than the preinstalled Samsung Keyboard.

Switching from Apple after a few years away from Android, and I sure did miss it. Easy to use out of the box. Good camera on it. Good storage. Battery is pretty good depending on what apps you run. 1 star off because I wish it had better speakers.

Bought the phone in store as an upgrade to my wife's S7. Took 10 minutes in store. Got home, opened up Smartswitch on both the new and old phones, followed promt to connect wire (with adapter) between the old phone and new phone, checked off the boxes of what my wife asked be carried over from the old phone to new (contacts, calendar, last 6 months of text msgs, just the 3rd party apps she wants ). Then pulled the micro SD out of the old phone, put it in this new one, set camera app storage to the SD, boom - her whole phone world as she likes it was on a brand new device in 15 minutes with ease. Smartswitch is awesome. Phone is super fast, super smooth, getsures like side swipe for screen shot, and double tab the power button for camera... my wifes absolute faves. P.s. for camera, I showed her how to quickly swipe to pro mode, set ISO way up and shutter speed way to left around 1/1500, and she absolutley loves the awesome low light and fast moving pics the phone will take of our kids running by. And pro mode saves your last setting. So gone are the days of a great pic ruined by a blurred kids head... The samsung phones are killer, totally customizable, and super easy for keeping a happy wife happy life.

When my original Pixel fell out of warranty and continually failed to make/receive phone calls, it was time for a new device. My choice was between a Pixel 2 and a Galaxy S9. Despite lots of research, what ultimately made the choice for me was my experience with the Pixel and Google's inability to resolve my phone issue. My last Samsung was an S5 so I haven't had any recent experiences with a Samsung but I never had any issues with the S5 so I figured why not. I've had the phone for a week now and am quite happy with it. Despite claims of bloatware, I haven't found too many non useful Samsung apps. Bixby is a disaster for sure but many of the apps I didn't need weren't "locked" and were removed with a simple uninstall. I do miss Google Assistant but that is still reachable in two clicks. The camera is fantastic. Battery life is average. The Samsung quick menu is incredible and made me wonder how I lived without it. I like the fingerprint scanner being under the camera lens instead of in the middle of the device like the Pixel. I also like wireless Qi charging which neither the Pixel 1 or 2 has. So much easier placing my phone down on a large pad at night instead of fumbling for a cord when I'm half asleep. Overall I'm quite happy with my purchase. Before the S9 arrived I had contemplated returning it for a Pixel 2 but after hearing the Pixel 2 hardware was made by HTC and the issues I see people reporting, I decided to at least try the S9 before returning it. Needless to say, the S9 is a keeper.

This phone is great in many ways. Fast, great camera, secure, good battery life, 64 GB, etc. I recommend it. Also, got free 32 in. Samsung TV with it!

Upgraded from the S5 so there's a definitely a difference in speed to say the least. Like the slim phone, easy to fit in woman's or kids hand. Easy to use, came ra takes decent pictures so far. Would recommend

I have had an S6 for a couple of years, and loved it. My one complaint was the lack of space (could not add a memory card). To accommodate more pictures, I upgraded to the S9. In many ways it is just as capable as the S6, only faster. It takes great pictures, and the battery lasts at least 2 days between charging. The screen displays crystal clear. The S9 is a fine phone, which I whole-heartedly recommend.

Fast processor, tons of storage, easy to use, and the camera is the best I have seen.

Best galaxy phone yet! Has a wonderful camera too. Easy to use and understand. Great features. Upgrades from previous models and runs much faster then my last galaxy. I love the color. Purchasing from Best Buy and adding it to my Verizon plan was very simple and less extthen going right to Verizon. I will definitely buy through Best Buy again! Very happy with my experience

The camera is not so great. I'm looking for a camera app to take care of it. Other than that the phone is great. Very quick, easier to hold and reach the entire screen. After going through 6 different screen protects found that the ArmourSuit Military Shield screen protector is the best flexible screen protector and the amFilm 3D Curved Dot Matrix Full Screen Tempered Glass Screen Protector is the best hard screen protector. (We bought 3 phones and everyone likes a different feel) As usual, I felt the most comfortable buying from Best Buy. They compared plans and phones objectively. Very happy with purchase.

I was forced to purchased the Samsung Galaxy S9 because the battery died on my S6. The battery life is great on the S9, I can go 48 hours without a charge. The S9 doubled my storage capacity over the S6 with 64GB, plus I can add a memory card. The S9 is the same form factor as the S6 but has a larger screen and is twice as fast as my old S6. Great Phone.

I really like my new Samsung Galaxy s9. I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy s4 after 3 & 1/2 years. It's really easy to use and it's the newest model and I got it at a Great Price. The phone is slim, edges are curved and the screen protector was easy to apply. The camera is so amazing, takes great HD pictures even in low high. Love my new Samsung Galaxy s9.

My Galaxy S4 died a slow and unceremonious death in recent days. No big loss... I'm not a talker or a texter. I didn't miss it at all. I have computers in almost every room of my house, so my head isn't stuck in a cell phone screen all the time. But recent circumstances required that I upgrade my phone so that I could be reached when necessary. The day after I got this, I found out that Samsung was soon to release a newer version of the Galaxy, but I don't care. This phone more than meets my needs, and it's a marked improvement over the dearly departed S4. Loving the curved 5.8 screen and the sound quality of calls and audio. Straight out of the box, as soon as I set it up, it married up with my television, washing machine, sound system and every other Bluetooth-capable gadget in my home without any help from me. Will I get a 400 GB SD card to expand the memory? Of course! Will I get a Galaxy Watch? Absolutely! The camera is very good, even in low light conditions. The colors kind of pop, so I probably won't rely on it for pictures that really matter. I have 2 DSLRs for that, anyway. But for its original <raison detre>, for example, being a *telephone*, this one is hard to beat!

I purchased this as an upgrade to my Galaxy 5S. It has been a great phone, but the good news/bad news is the battery life. This phone holds a charge for so long that I forget to charge it. It is much faster than my old phone, a good camera, and all around great phone.

First thing that impressed was the clearest picture ever seen on a cell phone, it is easy to use, the sound is clear and is loud enough to actually hear without straining if watching a movie or listening to music. Yet the best part is the battery life, You can go all day without having to recharge. Really pleased with this purchase.

The S9 brings welcome upgrades. It is faster, smoother and ever so slightly larger than the S7. Some of the new features are gimmicks like the emoji-picture, but the regular camera and overall speed are impressive. Much more freedom than with an Apple product.

Great phone. Fast. Lots of memory. Will see how long the battery lasts. One complaint - disable the Bixby button. Way too easy to click when trying to turn on or double press to launch camera. Great price at BestBuy. Much better than the deal at Verizon.
