Customer Ratings & Reviews

It's small and thin, which is convenient to take places. Has a lot of memory which is what I was looking for. If you're going to use it as a usb from the get go, it's ready for that, however, setting it up for an external drive was confusing even for me. The site doesn't automatically bring you to where you're supposed to find the program to set it up even after you sing up and register the product, and you have to look around for the link a bit with google, after that it is pretty straight forward, however I am not sure how easy it would be for everyone to manage that. It doesn't overheat which is good, for some reason others do.

Setup and usage are easy and the portability is very helpful when traveling.

Plug and download whatever you need straight away no hassles or work arounds. Right out the box ready to use

Awsome product very reliable. I have bought 2 in the past as gifts and both times perfection

The product is working good. The delivery was on time.

I thought this would be enough but sony uses 50gb for mystery memory.

This "little" drive is a sleeper. To look at it you wouldn't think it could back up an entire Terabyte computer drive for the first time in about an hour. And it's so quiet, you'd think it's sleeping for sure! Turns out it's a workhorse, and I'm glad to have it.

Portable hard drive is always helpful if you dont want to keep personal data/pics into cloud. Seagate have been my preferred choice because of they quality products. Except one, all portable drive my family have is Seagate and no complains even after soo many year. Its plug and play always without having any issues. My personal recommendation is this drive as it has the MOST value for money 2tb in such good price at BestBuy was a never miss opportunity. If you have a need for space, GO FOR IT.

Reliable hard drive, easy to use and has more than enough space than what it was needed for.

Simple and easy to use. Just connect and instant access to 2 Terabytes of storage.

what a bang for you buck! Does everything I need it to do in a very small , slim size that is easy to carry in my backpack

Works great, easily portable, and has plenty of space. Highly recommended.

Working good , help for saving computer, spay, and easy to carrying

Awesome external hard drive! I suggest formatting to EX-FAT for best results! I saved all files to my pc before I formatted it. Then I dragged and dropped files back to drive just to keep original files. You can rename your drive after you format it! Also register your product using the quick start files located on the drive. You will be able to back up all your files easy after that. Pretty easy! Its also PC and MAC compatible. -Love it!

Great product - downloaded 1.8TB from my dad's computer (took a while because of low transfer speed of computer) and sent the drive to my brother so he could put it on his computer for referance. Great way to transfer data from one computer to another.

Love this 2T Seagate. I have downloaded a lot of pictures, data and have more space on my computer. It's the perfect size if you need to take traveling- very satisfied with this purchase - I purchased a second one for my son.

Works great. Have to set up the recovery services, but overall, it's sleek and doesn't take up much space.

A solid piece of hardware - my last one stayed good for ~ 8 years (not sure what happened with its detection on iMAC)!! Be good to also have the option for USB C port available.

This external USB was perfect to store files on as a backup for smaller flash drives that you might lose or in case your internal hard drive is corrupted. It was perfect for me, but it has fallen on the floor to many times and beginning to get hard to pull files off of it. Therefore, I have gone to a larger external hard drive that I will leave at home.
