This HD is easy to use and easy to setup. I use mine to share data between three computers. I like the HD so well that I purchased one for a friend.

This wireless hard drive is so easy to set up and use! I really like the compact size too making it so easy to carry with you wherever you go!

i needed additional storage space for movies so i could view on my ipad on an international flight. this hdd is so easy to use with my ipad, it was good for at least 6 hours, which was half the flight time. i would recommend as a exteranal memory for you ipad for movies, photos and music.

Always need more space on my ipad. Since I hate cables, this seemed to fit the bill. It does what it is supposed to, So I would recommend it to anyone that needs files while off the grid or internet. However sometimes it is tough to get it connected. Seems to connect and then the ipad will drop it and reconnect to another wifi and I loose the connection to the hdd. But once it is connected it works well. I have even streamed movies, however they were not HD movies..

The drive works as it is supposed to. But, when connecting a phone or tablet via the built in wi-fi sometimes the device does not see the contents of the drive. Typically, you have to use the Seagate app to do anything. I have to fiddle with things, like disconnect/reconnect to see the content. It may be the app is just plain slow. Not sure. But, one my device sees the content, using the app, I can watch movies, see photos, or other content/documents on it. It is the iffy ability to quickly view my content that gives only 4 stars.

This product is awesome for students and people always on the go. It's very portable so I can take it to school or work or anywhere I need and plug it in and have all my files right there I have many digital copies of movies that I put right on it so I can take it anywhere and don't use up space on my computer! Love it and very reasonably priced! The app used to connect wirelessly is a little confusing but once you get around it, you get used to it

Great way to have access to all your pics and movies wherever you are, easy to use and setup. Mac and PC friendly.

This product worked very well. No problem connecting via WiFi, good range, app worked well. It doesn't transcode in case you want to stream movies to apple product.

Does exactly as advertised! Has plenty of space and battery has good life. Easy to use.

I bought this to compliment my work iPad. We only got 16GB units and with all the "work" items on it, not much extra storage at all for music, pics or data. This unit works great to allow for extra storage via the free SeagateMedia app. It is really slick to use and I can easily share with co-workers if they put the app on. I would buy another one for sure.

The Seagate hardware performs as promised. All,of my mobile devices can easily access the 14k+ media items I've stored on the drive but I wonder why they didn't put more effort into the design of the iPad/iPhone app. I wish we could simply use iTunes to play the files on the device.

This product is light weight and portable. Backed up my entire laptop.

I used this drive to store many MP4 files for the kids to access while driving across the country. Once I figured out how to create the mp4 files, they were easily accessible on an Ipad and two chromebooks. The kids were entertained for hours with no issues between them because they could watch whatever they wanted individually.

good product for the price. works as advertised. occasionally issues with wifi, especially with mobile devices.

Purchased this product to use on an extended trip, ie., to save storage space on my tablet. Wanted to be able to watch movies and read books while not on Wi-Fi. The Seagate wireless mobile storage device does this well. I plan to use the storage device more oten, e.g., while at home, since it is easy to connect to my table.

The price was right. The storage space is more than what I need, but should be sufficient for many years.

Allows you to purchase a less expense surface pro and still have plenty of space to save your files.

I purchased this portable hdd to move my digital copy of movies to so that the kids could connect to this drive while traveling. Seagate provides an app for android and itunes. I used only the android app. Installation of the app and connection to the hdd was easy and straight forward. I was able to immediately start viewing their sample videos. I then started moving over movies onto the hdd. I only loaded a few as to check operation before wasting alot of time. All digital copies for windows media (.wmk) were scrambled and not viewable. I had to then burn all my dvd movies to the hdd using a pc program in order to view them from the drive. It is a great product if you have the time to spend with getting the proper file on the drive to view your movies.
