I liked the scooter I noticed when i was drive a mile batery would drain to about 80% it rode smooth had fun the 2nd day of me having the scooter i got on it hit the throttle it took and didnt want to stop i was hitting breaks let the throttle ago it still was going i jump off it I fractured my elbow and hurt my left wrist i want to get the same one but im scared

I bought it for myself to travel with a friend and the only problem is its range, if it could go longer, then that would be ideal. I'll probably buy an additional accumulator when it comes out. It was also said that the footrest would be quiet, but it was loud and scratched very easily.

I bougbt this scooter 6 weeks ago and it was my first electric scooter. Reas that it had a 50 mile radius. Thus is false. Didnt expect it to but hoped it would be somewhere adround 25 miles. False !! For the price this scotter is not on par. Bought the Apollo City and there is no comparison. I took out the ninebot segway one last time before i returned it today hoping to keep it. It was so dissapointing. It went 7 miles in sport mode. And the last 2 miles i went 15mph. They lied about the ability. The apollo city i bought was $200 less and it runs on sport mode fantastically for more than 20 miles. The Segway does mayve 6 miles. Hope this helps. There are so many better optiobs than the segway g3 for the money

The Max G3 is one of our best and most reliable scooters, so you experience is definitely unique. For range, many factors go into determining range (speed, weight, hills, battery level, temperature, etc, etc), but I can promise you that 6 miles is not accurate on the Max G3.

Disappointed by the lack of quality control in the manufacturing process behind the Max G3 scooter. 3 key things that were issues:
1. Misaligned LCD Backlight
2. Surface Damage to Power On button
3. Misaligned Disc Brake - Can hear it inconsistently rubbing against brake pads when applying pressure.
4. Power delivery on Boost was erratic - dangerously so.

Segway scooters use the highest quality materials, and build quality is among the best in the game. They use bespoke parts, and as a result, their scooters don't look like high school garage shop projects like many in the market do. There are good and bad aspects of that, of course, one bad thing being that parts may not be universally available, like other scooters using off-the-shelf parts.
The power and acceleration on the G3 is pretty good in 'Sport' mode. I would say 'Drive' mode is only used to conserve battery for me, as it's rather boring and uninspiring, especially since top speed is neutered to 16 mph in that mode.
I've owned the original Max G30P, P100s, and I currently have the GT2. The G3 is a fun ride with a firm chassis, and soft suspension. The scooter looks and feels premium, and feels super nice to ride - until you can't.
My biggest gripe about the G3 is its pitiful range. It's so bad that it almost makes everything good about the scooter pointless. It's so bad that it almost doesn't make sense. Also, the fact that they decided to lock 20 mph behind 'Sport' mode is baffling, with 16 mph being the top allowable speed in 'Drive' mode. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I feel like the only reason Segway did something so ridiculous was so that people are forced to be in 'Sport' mode, with its much more aggressive power curve just to be able to go faster than 16 mph, draining our battery much faster than it needs to (and contributing to the atrocious range) , making us feel like we will need their soon-to-be-released external battery. There is just no sensible reason for doing this. Frankly, it's rather ridiculous. Until they change this via a firmware update, I'll assume this is the reason why.
Another issue that I had was that my first G3 had rattles I couldn't locate, so I had to exchange it for a new one. This new one also had rattling, but I located it, and got rid of it, but the front fork also has squeaking issues. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of boxing it back up to return it again, so I'll just have to contact Segway for a warranty part and replace the fork myself. For me that's less of a hassle, honestly.
Minus 1-star for comical range, minus another star for limiting 'Drive' mode to 16 mph.

I bought the Ninebot Max G3, and it’s an amazing scooter.
It fully matches the official specs — fast, powerful, and can go about 14–16 miles at top speed 28 without stopping. For around $1000, it’s a great deal with excellent Best Buy warranty support. I had a few flat tires, and Best Buy helped me right away, super friendly and professional service!
The Real speed 28 mph, the suspension is simply the best.
The most important aspect why you should buy this electric scooter is because of the support of best buy in everything.

I’ve recently switched from bicycle to e-scooter for my daily commute, and this has been great. I would recommend a scooter like the max g3 because it allows me to go off of the bicycle path and into the main roads, as its top speed of 28 mph can keep up with traffic. The suspension is great for city roads. I do a 9 mile round trip commute and I only use around 50% of the battery doing top speed. I would recommend this to my fellow city dwellers

I spent quite a bit of time researching scooters for my commute and when the Max G3 was announced I knew that it was the perfect choice. The pre-order and pickup process from Best Buy was easy. The scooter itself is amazing. Very smooth ride with the dual suspension and larger tires. It's fast and I get around 40 miles on a charge riding in norm mode. The app connectivity is amazing and "find my" security is a nice touch. I recommend turning off the park on slope and setting the starting speed to 0mph to allow a seamless ride. Very happy with my purchase.

I do not give the five stars because the max range in this scooter is only aprox. 12 miles on sport mode and in the manual says 25 miles distance. Speed is good it reach out to the max 28 mph. , lights are very bright, it charges very fast.It will be much better if the max range distance will be 25 miles or at least something close to what it says in the manual. I think the price is a little too high.
