I got the wireless headphones because I am very hard of hearing. I was able to hook them up via the optical cable. I have a newer TV so I was able to use the internal speakers and the optical at the same time, without that option I could only use one or the other. The headphones themselves are to die for. the base and clarity are out of this world. I can hear the TV at the volume I need and not blow everyone else out of the room.

Great option for anyone needing volume too high for everyone else’s comfort…They work very well and were simple to connect. The rechargeable base is perfect and easy to charge each night.

I needed wireless headphones to watch TV when my wife goes to bed early. These headphones are very good quality and the sound is excellent. The range is also very good. They are a little pricey but in my opinion, they are worth it. Note that they say to get them fully charge when out of the box will take up to 24 hours. It does take that long!

These are great. As far as these go I haven’t heard a difference between normal, pressing th base or pressing the sure buttons. That’s why you get a 4 not a 5. I just have to complain about my tv. I wish I didn’t have to manually change the settings every time I want to use these.

Audio is great for me. I play games and watch movies (for the most part). Range through my apartment is really good... Headset feels heavy after awhile, though... Wish there was a lighter-on-the-ear option... If I would have done a little more research.... This is the second time I have purchased this model... Gave the first pair to family years ago.

It's just amazing how clear and distinct the sound is on these speakers. I would recommend them to anyone. Very easy to use and so comfortable.

Sound quality is excellent. Very comfortable and very well made.

These have great quality sound. But if you are looking for headphones for your PC/Consoles to play games this one is probably not for you. The transmitter needs to be plugged into whatever it is you are getting your music from i.e. TV/PC/Phone by either the 3.5mm jack or digital cable. For me, the requirement of the bulky transmitter being plugged into my computer or ps4 controller is a deal breaker. GREAT for home entertainment or when your kids are watching that awful adult youtube star play make-believe with a bunch of shopkins. :-D

Comfortable. Adjustments for bass and surround sound. I haven’t had to ask my wife once.. “what did they say”

Sennheiser might not be the household name that other brands like Sony and Bose are, but they make the best headphones on the market for audio quality and have been in the business for a long time. Got these for my parents to watch TV with, and they love them. Easy to setup and sound much better than even a decent soundbar. You won't find better headphones for TV viewing.

EXCELLENT ACCUSTICS, BUT A BIT TOO BULKY AND HEAVY FOR LONGER CESSIONS

I had a pair on Sennheiser HD 559 for the last 4 years that I use primarily for gaming and music on PC. Decided it was time to upgrade. WOW what a great decision. Set up couldn’t be eiser, and the audio quality is phenomenal. Very light and comfortable.

I can watch TV in bed and not disturb my wife!! The sound is better in the headphone than the speakers. Easy to setup and use. I purchased a second pair for my son. I dont have hear him playing video games or watching his TV.

Love it. Works without fail. The sound is incredible. Only thing I wish they were a little less bulky.

Hooke them up with no connection issues. the range is great. I can walk all around my house without losing signal. Really like the bass button for better sound with movies and the surround feathre adds depth to the sound. Getting another set for the bedroom. Sennheiser headphone rock and have for a very ling time

This headset accomplishes most of my needs. I can watch TV at a volume of my choosing while others in the same room can watch at a different volume, The headset is comfortable. The earpieces do not hurt my ears as other headsets have, The volume control is difficult to use without removing the headset. I would recommjend this headset to others with a hearing problem.
