I purchased Sennheiser wireless headphones and am extremely pleased. The clarity of sound across a very large spectrum of herz is exceptional. They are perfect for watching tv when you don’t want disturb others in the house.

Great overall headphones!! Got 2 pair to connect to my Oled TV and cannot be happier. My roomates dont like hearing loud surround sound of my system speakers, so this is a great alternative!!
Havent tested them farther than 20-30 feet but they do work great with 2 headphones using 1 receiver.

Needed surround sound earphones so I could experience my movies without disturbing others in the house. This set has selectable surround sound and on ear volume and bass adjustments. This is a good alternative to be able to enjoy my movies. The head set is a little tight after wearing for over an hour but not intolerable.

Bought these for at night due to the fact I live in an apartment so I’m not blasting movies/tv shows/or games late at night and they sound amazing. Super easy to setup and battery lasts a long time. Also with these there’s zero latency which is great cause when I was originally just using Bluetooth headphones I would see people’s mouths move before I even heard the words. With these I don’t have that problem at all.

Bought these headphones because our new TV didn’t have Bluetooth (I know, shame on me for not checking first). They were a little expensive, but the quality is there. Sound is great. Very comfortable and light. Controls are easy to manipulate while wearing. Over the ear blocks out the majority of background noise. Highly recommend.

I did not hear a lot of distortion with these earphones. Ergonomically the volume control consists of two buttons (- and +) that are placed below a bass boost button and a 3 position surround button. It is hard to hit the intended button to control volume. The bass boost is controlled by one pushbutton, and it is either on or off. The bass boost is too much bass in a movie with a low frequency drone as in some science fiction movies. The low surround sound option is pretty good, but for some content such as symphonic music or opera one might prefer the stereo position instead of surround sound. The high surround sound option is way too much echo for my taste and I don't use that setting. The surround sound off position produces the best audio. It would have been better to have a dial with a continuous choice of surround sound separtions. Similarly for the bass boost. The range of the headphones is not as great as the specs claim. They also cut out in the kitchen with the microwave on. I did find less audio distortion than in my old Sony MDR-DS6500 surround sound headphones. (The old Sony phones may have deterioated and distortion increased with age.) How good is the RS 175 sound? The stereo is not as good as high end Sennheiser HD 650's. Had the Sennheiser RS 175's had rotary or dial controls instead of push buttons, I might have given 5 stars. I am satisfied with the improvement over the old Sonys.

I got these to replace my Sony MX3s. They sound amazing and the bass boost is not over bearing. The surround option is pretty decent, but overall great headphones. The distance you can go from the receiver is pretty good as well with no drops.

It was on sale for $175. A great value for headphone that outperform ones that cause twice as much. Bass is strong and deep without being muddle. Mid and high are clean and clear. I can wear it for over 3 hours without any discomfort. Battery life lasts a long time before you have to recharge it.

These are great headphones. Sound quality is pretty well. I bought these for my dad to watch tv at night without disturbing my mom while she sleeps. He told me he had an issue with them cutting off once or twice when the dock was connected via optical cable to the tv and that he connected them via AUX cable like his previous headphones and haven’t had the issue again. They are comfortable and have great range and charging time! I don’t have any complaints besides the large price and lack of Bluetooth connectivity. I wanted to get a Bluetooth transmitter and some Bose or Sony headphones for him so he could use them with the TV and also a phone or tablet, so he would have them for dual purposes...but I was skeptical about latency issues with the tv. I researched it for a while and got mixed reviews when it came to latency with Bluetooth headphones and video...so I just went with these that are made for TV connectivity. Overall great headphones, but also a high price. Not as amazing as I was expecting but they work fine.

All I can is awesome!!! The voice on these headphones are so clear that you can have the volume way down and still hear every word, every note and every base beat. And when you feel like drowning out everything....It works just as well. No cords to worry about, it fits really well and comfortable. Great buy...

The sound quality was comparable to my Bose QC15. However the RS 175 did not feel comfortable to wear at all. My head felt like it was being squeezed. In addition, the headphone cups produce moister over 10 min of wearing the headphone. Overall, it's pricy for entertainment headphone, is not aesthetic, and allows moisture to be trapped in the headphone cups.

Great sounding headphone. Frequency response is great, from clear treble to strong defined bass - even without the bass boost on. Ear cups are plush and comfortable, though the tension is a bit tight and tiresome for extended use (over 4 hours). Battery life is very good and so is range.

One of the best electronic products I have ever bought. Simple to use. Fabulous sound. Rich, enhanced highs, midrange and base. Easy to use controls on the headset. Comfortable fit and feel on head and ears. No complaints whatsoever. Easy to install.

This headset was perfect for setting up my senior hard-of-hearing folks up with something of quality and not another challenge to their abilities. Great sound, adjustable surrounds and pretty comfy fit. Wireless is the way to go. Purchased in the Magnolia section where the staff knows their products well. Good recommendation. Might even get more pairs for the rest of us.

Worked exactly as described. I use it strictly for movies but would work well for music too in a pinch.

Love RS 175 RF because I use it to listen to TV all the time. And if my wife wants to listen she can as the sound bar and the wireless headphone works in lue of or with the sound bar. The headset makes up for my hearing loss!

This replaces Sony wireless which used IR technology, which is very limiting in terms of distance and line of site blockage when you get up to answer a phone or work in the kitchen while listening to the news.
Dramatic improvement in sound clarity, range (of course), as well as comfort and isolation from external sounds (almost as good a noise cancelling headphones). Convenient and rapid recharging. I also purchased s second head set. Two can listen to the same program simultaneously. I chose RS175 for the option of optical or electrical connection to the source. Keep in mind, this is not degraded bluetooth technology. It is true HiFi sound. Wife was big critic of previous headphones but considers this the best of all the items in my new TV / AVR purchase.

Finally a high quality digital capable wireless head set at a reasonable price point. Now I don't get in trouble with the wife for waking the baby when watching the home theater. This system allows you to have up to 2 headphones connected to the same transmitter. The problem is that BB does not sell the head set only, you have to get from factory. I purchased two systems with transmitters so now I have a spare and can charge both headsets at once. Programming the headset is a snap, just place the headset on the charging station for a few seconds and your golden. Take time to down load the manual from the manufacturer website, what in the box is just a quick set up guide that doesn't give you much info. Installation only takes 2 minutes once you know how you will connect. I suggest using the optical connection if you want surround sound quality vs the analog 3mm plug. If your gonna spend the money on these headphone, go digital, if you want analog buy some cheap wireless units. Sound quality on these unit are fantastic! I like them better than my last set of Bose wired noise canceling set at a fraction of the cost!
