The Shark IONFlex DuoClean is an amazing little stick vacuum with lots of reach and portability. There is a lot of power in this vacuum, combined with it’s light weight, this vacuum really pulls itself across the floor. I love having a cordless vacuum now, it makes vacuuming just a little less of a chore for me. I do have pets though, so with the small canister, it fills up quickly. Which means either more frequent vacuuming, or emptying the canister a few times when vacuuming my entire house. Pet hair does get caught up in the roller however that seems to happen with all vacuums and Shark gives you very easy access to clean the rollers so it’s not a big deal. Pet hair also gets wrapped up around the filter in the canister but it pulls off easily. We have 2 dogs, one long-haired Border Collie and a Blue Heeler so we have a lot of pet hair in our house. For a smaller house and or a small family without pets, this vacuum is perfect. This can also tackle the jobs needed for a larger household with pets, you will just need to empty the canister often, occasionally change the battery and keep the backup battery charged. You will also need to keep the filters inside the canister clean and check them more often. I really like the design of this vacuum. It takes up very little space and can easily tuck into any corner or closet space. The MultiFLEX stick allows the vacuum to bend, like your elbow, to reach far under furniture and other hard to reach spaces. At first impression, I thought it looked a little strange but now I love it because it works great! The DuoClean feature is an amazing addition to vacuums and I hope it becomes the standard. The front roller grabs dirt and particles and pulls them into the vacuum, where other vacuums tend to push some things forward. The front roller is also great for vacuuming right up to the wall to grab the debris that’s pushed against the edge, it works just as well as if I use the hose. The bottom of the vacuum is lined with small brushed around the perimeter of the suction cavity. These little brushed help to keep the dirt under the vacuum and prevent debris from being blown back out onto your floor. Being able to use this as a handheld vacuum is also a great bonus. I love that I can clean my car and other small places without having to be attached to a cord. I’m very happy with this vacuum and think it’s perfect for anyone looking for an all-in-one, lightweight, portable vacuum that will likely last you many years. The price is a little high but that’s because of everything you get...the DuoClean roller, the MultiFlex bending stick, the portability of a battery operated vacuum, the extra battery, the charging stand, and the list goes on. You won’t be disappointed with this vacuum.

I have used the Dyson V8 I got this vacuum for $275 and thought it was a million times better. Even at full price I would buy this vacuum again. The battery life is amazing. The suction is unbelievable for a cordless.

Well worth it. I have been around awhile, and I think that this is the very first time I have ever enjoyed vacuuming. Relatively quiet, truly ultra-light weight & efficient. Suits my needs very well.

Wireless, good suction, cleans all my floors and with 2 batteries, power to spare. What more can you ask for. And though some have said dumping the dirt canister was an issue, it has worked great for me.

This is a very versatile vacuum, it switches from carpet to hard surface quickly and efficiently. The 2 battery set up is a great idea and allows you to complete the clean up nicely.

Really great vacuum cleaner! Flexible bend to reach under bed and furniture. Fantastic suction! Just a bit more top heavy so be careful storing it so it doesn’t fall over.

There are a couple of issues I have with this vacuum but I still give it a high rating because it makes cleaning so much easier. First, not a lot of suction power when using the attachments. Second, the battery dies before the one on the charger is ready. You can either buy an additional battery and the double charger or do some other cleaning while you wait for it to finish charging. With that said, the good far out weighs the bad with this vacuum. NO MORE CORD!!! I hate unrolling and keeping the cord out of my way when cleaning. The flex is genius! So much easier cleaning under the furniture. You should definitely buy this vacuum. WAY BETTER AND LESS EXPENSIVE THAN THE DYSON!

Such large power from a small vacuum. I find myself using this more than my normal sized vacuum, mostly because of the ease of use!

I like this because it has two batteries and can go under the sofa easily, but not sure it is really worth 350 dollars. I am old school, and a 100 Hoover does the job

I love the cordless shark vacuum and enjoy the second battery as a convenience. This product sucks up lots of dirt from hardware floor and also the carpets.

This vacuum is great! It is extremely light and easy to use. Since it's battery operated I do think it's best to get the extra battery.

Very convenient and easy to use. Works like a champ!! Having the extra battery is definitely a big plus for any cleaning I need to do.

Over many years of trying to keep our various apartments and houses clean while enjoying an active lifestyle and our usual contingency of 2 large dogs and 2 cats, I have learned that no one vacuum will be able to do everything I want the way that I want. With the exception of one problem, the Shark IONFlex DuoClean IF251 Bagless Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum vacuum comes close. The one negative on this Shark model is a relatively small dust bin. Beyond that, it gets high marks, especially on versatility. It’s light enough for me to tote up the stairs without much effort, it has great suction, it has different settings for carpeted and bare floors and max and regular power, there are 2 batteries so that one can be charging while the other’s in use, it has useful attachments and detachable parts that vary its function and extend its reach high and low, it can go underneath the bed, and it can become a handheld for use in a vehicle and elsewhere. Our dogs have short hair that works its way down into our carpets, but the Shark finds and eliminates it. Those with really large houses might find the battery life insufficient, even with 2 batteries, but I believe most people will find that a single battery provides very good power long enough to do both overall and detail vacuuming. And, because it is light and easy to use, the Shark encourages me to do quick touch-up cleaning. The company that installed our carpeting said that we should vacuum traffic areas every day, and having the Shark has finally gotten me to do that!

I didn't know what to expect buying a cordless vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised on how much it picked up. Especially pet hair. Having 3 long haired animals in the house I find myself vacuuming often. I also find myself having to clean the roller often. Probably every other time I vacuum. The hair winds around the roller and causes the roller to not move. For me this is an annoyance and in the future would skip this machine and get one that has the roller that doesn't get tangled. Great purchase for a non furry house.

Very nice and user friendly. Makes vacuuming slightly more enjoyable. Good product and a great value in cordless vacuum arena.

Overall I would say the Shark IONFlex 2X Cordless vacuum is a good buy for the money especially on sale. It is a little top heavy but the power head makes it very easy to use. The two batteries is a GREAT convenience and the external charger helps make them manageable. It usually takes only One battery to sweep all of the floors and carpets on the first floor (approx. 20 min.) so this works out very well. Hopefully, the vacuum and batteries hold up as well as my corded Shark.

This is a great vacuum! No chords to deal with, no searching for a plug. Long lasting battery and lightweight

This one comes with two batteries which is great. I like the fact you don't have to work around a cord!

Comes with two batteries, able to pick up another debris an dust for more than 2000 sq ft house.

I vacuum so much more without having to plug it in. Small, lightweight, and easy to use.
