    Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster is a remastered version of the classic 2003 Japanese RPG, now available on the PlayStation 4. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the player takes on the role of a demon summoner and must navigate a world filled with chaos and destruction. The HD remaster of the game offers improved graphics and smooth gameplay, making it a great experience for both fans of the original game and newcomers to the franchise. The game's story is deep and thought-provoking, with multiple paths and endings based on the player's choices and alliances. The game also features a unique combat system that allows the player to recruit and command demons to fight alongside them.

    The music in the game is fresh and interesting. It basically combines soft piano tracks with hard-rocking guitar rifts, and it works quite well. There are several battle themes and you won't get sick of any of them, though some of them are pretty strange with crazy sounding demon voices and such. It even comes with a bonus soundtrack disc. Sound effects aren't anything special, and there is no voice-over in the game, which in this day and age kinda stinks. But no voice overs are still better than the lousy, third-rate voice acting that plagues many games.

    I played the original on PS2 and played it on the PS3 digitally. This remake may have some flaws but overall still stands as a great niche and underrated RPG of its time in the PS2 and still will remain as niche series sadly but this game is really good and recommend to people who are new to the SMT series. Voice acting is great, the visual is great, the gameplay is great and so many things. This game is really good and is fun with its press turn system. The story is debatable as I think it has enough story content and has a lot of little snippets, secrets, and hidden moments that people overlook at times. People say it has hardly any story but like I said it depends how you play it and it is fun how you play it without following what someone says unless you are stuck on a boss fight or a puzzle you can't beat. Great game!

    This game is fun to play, there are lots of random battles, which is a good thing, sometimes you can't even move a few steps without getting into another random battle. I have been playing it for a few hours and so far the battles are easy on the normal difficulty. My only complaint so far is when I was on the world map I somehow fell off the map and ended up stuck. {possibly a glitch that hopefully gets fixed in an update}

    Nocturne is an absolute classic and one of the greatest JRPGs of all time. This port, however, is very lazy and only barely worth MSRP. The music, for example, is amazing but held back by still being compressed nearly 20 years later. Not much of this remaster feels "HD" as the title suggests. I will say on a positive note, that the English voice acting is very good and helps bring the game’s story to life. In all, if you haven’t played Nocturne before this is definitely worth playing, however if you’re on the fence then I would be wary of the $50 asking price and wait for a sale.

    It's Nocturne, the internets favorite high difficulty RPG, and rampant source of memes. This new port is great for fans of the original release and newcomers alike, with its new merciful difficulty and full voice acting, you're sure to spend hours exploring the vortex world, and level grinding towards your Reason.

    overall great HD port, I'm a fan of the original so I'm bias a tad, there are a few dlcs for difficulty and music, and one that adds a character.

    Came in early so I got to play it before it was actually released so that was cool. The disc was popped out of its holder when it was delivered but luckily it wasn’t scratched. 4 out of 5 just for the Best Buy service. A 3 out of 5 for the game Altus gave us. Feels like they did the bare bones to “enhance” this game. The music is the same version of the PS2 one which is a shame because I really wanted to hear a nice and clear version of the soundtrack and some of the visuals on the cutscenes revert from HD to PS2 graphics which really doesn’t hold up. Not worth the $60 price best to wait till it’s on sale or something. Also no cool special edition like the one Japan got? Come on Altus.

    One of the toughest turn-based JRPGs I've ever played happy they re-released it, and if you're a fan of JRPGs then this one is definitely for you + this version has a easy difficulty as well for new players of the genre

    As soon as I saw this game was getting a remake, I was ecstatic! Demon Pokémon is back! Such a fun, challenging JRGP. Anyone who likes jrpg or good stories will like this choose your own apocalyptic adventure.

    This is a great remaster of my favorite game from the series. If you've never played a Shin Megami Tensei game then you'll need to read up on the story. If you like Person then you'll like Shin Megami Tensei III.

    Solid game and fun to play. It does feel a bit dated in mechanics but it's always nice to see old games get a new few coat of paint. Shame that not all the extra content is included, but at least it's a solid buy when the game is on sale.
