The right one stopped working, no light or anything. Reset didn't work. You have to pay your own shipping to get them fixed, still waiting to get them back. Definitely will never buy skull candy again

    Great Noise Cancelling Tech

I found these headphone controls take a while to get used to but once you get the hang of it the tech is great. The noise cancelling lets you toggle between ambient noise and full on noise cancelling. I like to use ambient when jogging so that I can hear cyclist and 4 wheeled vehicles for safety reasons which is an added bonus. There is also a simplistic app that lets you skip the learning curve associated with tapping and long pressing the ear buds to make your adjustments. The buds hold a charge for a full workday of calls, as well as the buds case so you can easily charge these while on the move. The buds are sleek, stay put, and work both at home and at the gym. I certainly recommend them, and I would definitely repurchase.

    Good & Affordable Sound

SK has done a great job with the highs and mid range sounds but, the bass is a little lacking in my opinion. Not to say it doesn't sound good, I just like to turn the music up and get a little ear tickle from the bass. SK has an app that comes with the purchase and allows you to adjust the sound thru an EQ but, I recommend using the personal sound mode. This mode is a hearing test you can take and adjust the sound based off your own hearing exam. I think it enriched the sound because I have hearing lose in my left ear and it seamed to adjust to that fact. Pretty cool Bluetooth is easy as can be, use the left earbud to put bud into pairing mode and bam your connected. I've had problems with some wireless buds, when you put your phone in your pockets and lose connection. Man I hate that, so I tried on different types of pants. The only problem I had with cutting in/out was my back pocket of my jeans. The front pocket of my jeans the connection worked fine and for the record I've had more expensive buds have the same issue, just not sure why or cause of this issue yet. Controls are touch, just make sure you read manual and go over all the controls a few times to remember them and your set, easy. You can control volume, pause, answer/end calls, next/prev song all by touch. ANC works well if you pick the right size ear gels so try all 3 sizes. You MUST have a good tight fit. Don't get your hopes up that you won't hear anything because no buds I have tried with this tech has shut out outside sound noise entirely. Headphones are the better choice for ANC if that's what you are hoping for, as for these buds, they worked just as well as my Bose earbuds. SK also has an ambient mode for use in places you need to possibly hear your surroundings like running, grocery store or work. Just remember that these two modes drains the battery faster so use them when your only going to have them on for less than 4hrs. Good thing a ten minute charge gets you another 2 hours. Call feature, no one I talked to said I sounded any better or worse then someone talking thru the phone. So, take that for what it's worth. I've had some buds that are absolutely horrible sounding so the fact that no one noticed is a good thing. Finally SK did not make these any kind of waterproof that I can tell, so don't sweat on them.

I have been using these for a few weeks now. I use the buds all day long listening to music, taking phone calls and doing tele-conferences. Positive: Packaging was good. So far the have held up well to the rigors of heavy everyday usage. Can use ear pieces independently. Holds charge okay. Charge case protects the buds well. Music sound is very good. Fit well in the ear and stays put for the most part without ear hooks. Negatives: Several complaints from callers that the sound is hollow during conference calls. Hard to get individual buds out of the case if you don't use ear hooks. Ear hooks are uncomfortable. Controls are not that user friendly when using separately.

    Loaded Ear Buds

The Skullcandy-Indy ANC in ear headphones definitely pack multiple features for a great price. These are great sounding in ear buds! The app will give your ears a hearing test and then set the profile to those test results, that is genius! You also have other choices based on your “mood” for the day to get the perfect sound. I really like the sound! Treble, Mids, and Bass are all crisp and clear. The sound is smooth, super clear, and with detail even with ANC on. A friend with small ears borrowed these and said they had never found a pair that fit so well as these. So the choice for different ear sizes is there. I really like the ability to wirelessly charge the case as well as using USB C. The case will also show remaining charge with LEDS and the APP will tell you how much the ear buds have. The APP also has great instructions on use and features. The voice assistant even has a pleasant voice. Bluetooth range is very good. When range is iffy, the ear buds will alternate between ears as reception changes. If you like to use just one ear bud, these will let you do that. However, you may have limitations for local control since both ear buds have specific commands built into both buds. The touch controls work well for controlling volume and track changes. You just have to remember the commands and how to do that. There is an included chart for telling you which ear and how many taps for each feature. I found battery life better than advertised which was a pleasant plus. The only downsides I found were the ear bud skins are tricky to change. They are tight and you need to get them aligned. The instructions in the box are basic. The instructions in the APP are the ones to use. One minor thing, I couldn’t answer incoming calls using my Apple Watch with the Ear buds in. The call just failed. Overall I love these things! I would definitely recommend these buds to anyone. The features, sound, and price are all excellent!

I have several pairs of truly wireless ear buds some have ANC and some dont. I was excited to finally receive these to test them out. I am truly impressed with the fit and the sound coming from these earbuds. Crisp highs and great Bass response. Im a bass head so I can appreciate the amount that these reproduce. It does not muddy the highs IMO but seems to compliment it in a way that is pleasing to the ears. I would compare the sound on these to some Over the ear headphones. I think they are that good. The noise cancelling works great too, although not the best in the industry they are better than others I've tried. The touch controls would be my only complaint, not that they dont work fine but they use a different set up than other manufacturers. One tap would normally pause music but on these, one tap turns the volume up or down depending on what side you tap, left or right ect. 2 taps pause the music and a tap and hold turns on/off the noise cancelling. A single tap and hold will change the track after a short delay. Nothing wrong with they way Skullcandy did it, but its just not the normal button functions that I'm used too with other leading brands in this industry. Not docking a star just something to note. After the learning curve, you'll get it Wireless charging works flawlessly with the two different wireless chargers I have laying around, and generic and a Belkin, no problems with either. I think Skullcandy did a great job with the way these fit in my ears and they are really comfortable and I do not get any ear fatigue. The ear hooks really help keeps these in place. You cant go wrong with these IMO. Battery life with ANC off is also rated at 6 hours which is middle of the road for earbuds in this category. Some last longer and others dont. Go buy them, you'll thank yourself later.

You get a lot of desirable features with these Skullcandy headphones that make these a worthy purchase. The design is similar to the newer apple pods, but I feel more secure with the addition of the top blade. The inclusion of the different sized nubs and blades makes fitment much easier for smaller ears where the other style buds are limited. The app is actually a well designed and useful option to the multiple taps necessary on the earbuds themselves. Granted, all earbuds have limited real estate for separate buttons so a series of taps gets the job done. The sound is very good right out of the box, but when you setup your personal sound tuning, it gives you a hearing test with tones at various frequencies to discover your depth of hearing and tune the sound so it's best for you to hear. It made a vast improvement in clarity, only then did I notice how muddled the mid range was before. I didn't notice much sound isolation from the active noise cancelling feature. Toggling through the app between ambient and noise cancelling produced no substantial reduction in background noise. Sound is only slightly better with ANC on, but offers little to no observable difference without music playing. Given the extensive battery use related to this feature, I would keep it off. The charge case with the magnetic closure is secure and the wireless charging is a plus I was surprised about and adds to it's usefulness. Tapping the buds to increase volume, switch songs, or activate Google Assistant was quite tedious and challenged my finger to ear dexterity, but with time, it should become easier. I like the form factor, the app, and the personalized sound.

The Skullcandy Indy is an excellent pair of in-ear headphones with all the features that you would expect from a modern pair of headphones. Fully wireless earbuds mean you can use one headphone at a time if you would like to help extend your battery life, but the case also charges, either wired or wirelessly, so, either way, you get a lot of time when using these headphones. The form factor is pretty traditional to most in-ear headphones and the box includes additional ear tips so you can customize the fit to better fit your ears. The case is not too large and easily fits in most pockets without any problems. Each earbud features controls for navigating your music or changing active noise-cancelling modes. The Indys feature active noise cancelling that you can change modes either with the app or by using the controls on each earbud if you prefer. Speaking of the application available it is not necessary but does feature some pretty unique functions that make it worth using for those who want a more personalized sound profile. One really cool feature that sets these apart from a lot of other wireless headphones is the integration with Tile. This allows you to easily locate your earbuds if you happen to misplace one and is in my opinion a feature that should be included on more earbuds like this due to their small size.

Great Noise Cancellation and Sound Quality

The Skullcandy Indy ANC True Wireless In-Ear Headphones provide incredible noise cancelling and impressive sound. The noise cancelling works better than any other headphones with ANC that I have tried (including some more than 4 times the price). For example, with ANC on (and sound playing medium volume) I couldn't hear a person 5 feet away talking, or a landline phone ringing in the same room. ANC improves the music listening experience and is also useful when concentrating on plain-voice content like online courses or audiobooks. The headphones seemed to grip into the ear really well (I was able to use them on an exercise bike, or on an elliptical cross-trainer, for example), which I did not expect considering they were not over-ear. They are also very comfortable to wear as far as earbuds are concerned. They didn't come with much charge, but charged very quickly with USB-C connector (the case also supports wireless charging with Qi, which I have been using). The Skullcandy app had an option for 'Personal Sound' which seemed to give me a hearing test, and based on that test, it personalized the sound. I thought the overall sound was much better when on personal sound. After a couple weeks using these, these are now my preferred headphones when using my mobile phone.
