These headphones work well, the sound quality is good. The setup once charged was easy, and the Tile function is great. Some issues. I cannot tell much difference between the noise-cancelling and ambient sound modes though. They came out of the package w/ not enough charge to sync so I had to wait for them to charge up. Initially I thought I was missing one of the ear gels (for the small size ears) but later found it stuck inside a larger one (My fault). The sync was pretty easy on my phone initially, but when I tried a second sync on another device it was difficult. I do like the fit in the ear (there is a 2nd rubber tab that keeps it locked in the back). Also these work independent of each other. You can use both, right only or left only (previous pairs I have had would only work together or only right solo - no choice) My biggest complaint is the ear tap functions. one click to volume up right or left, two clicks right to FF two clicks left to RW, hold 3 sec then tap to ... It's very confusing and I feel like I would need to carry the directions around with me to use them. I like the idea of one button on each ear but the functions need to be easier. Also if you are only using one side at a time, this further complicates the left/right tapping. So my summary is: they sound good, sync well, fit well, and can use single or double (flexible) The control functions are tough to understand and sometime the tap is read as a hold or vice versa.

I have had Skullcandy wired headphones that were my go-to and I really liked them. This is a feature rich headphone at this price point, and I am impressed with the quality of these headphones. I really like the stem design. You can touch/press the step part of the earbuds to control the features. With the right silicone ear gel size, the fit is extremely comfortable and really helps with the ANC, which is awesome. I can barely hear any outside noise. Overall sound quality is also great. I highly recommend you download the Skullcandy app which will help in customizing your personal sound. The charging case comes with USB C port as well as the option to charge wirelessly. The battery life is pretty decent. You do get almost double usage time with the ANC Off option. The in-built Tile feature is really amazing. You can use the Tile app to activate the earbuds and use it to find in case you have misplaced them. Overall, this is a great earbuds from Skullcandy with packed features and I recommend giving it a try.

Great noise cancelling and balanced sound

If you are looking for a great sounding noise cancelling set of true wireless earbuds look no further than the Skullcandy Indy ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling in-Ear Earbud. They paired very easily with my iPhone, and they have anywhere between 19-32 hours of use depending upon whether you use the ANC or not. The more you use the ANC the less battery life you will have, so that is a bit of a trade off. As for the ANC itself, for my taste its great, it just shuts the world off and helps you just concentrate on what you are listening to. And they do have the “Ambient” mode that passes through the environments ambient sound. They also work great for phone calls. The sound quality is excellent and well balanced, not too much bass, not too much high or midrange, actually just enough of all and you can tweak the sound with the EQ. Overall Im very pleased with the Skullcandy Indy ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling in-Ear Earbud, my only complaint is I can only be connected to one device at a time, but that’s minor.

    Great wireless ear buds

These fit better than other ear buds and the sound is very nice. The battery life is long and charging time isn't to bad. Haven't used a higher wattage charger but if you charge these overnight you will have no problem running these past 4 hours. Working out these have a groove that helps hold them in and also keeps the external sounds out along with the noise canceling portion. I would highly suggest picking up a pair. I am more of a bass fan but they do have an EQ so you can change how you want to hear your music or podcasts. They have different tips for different size ears which is nice. The charging case helps if you are on the go and need to charge them up a bit. If you are a fan of the Skullcandy feel these did not disappoint at all.

Soak your brain in the sound

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've always been a Skullcandy fan ever since I received a pair of wired headphones many many years ago and the sound they put out always satisfied me. I bought these (most I've ever spent on ear buds) to replace a set of Ink'd+ Active that I accidentally pulled the cord out of one side. Since I couldn't find the same ones in any retail store nearby I pulled the trigger on a set of these in hopes that all the reviews were right about them. After getting to the car, tearing open the box and popping these bad boys into me ears, a woman's voice came on stating that the "power is on." I was like "dang girl, I'm powered on right now too! You sound sexy AF! Where you at?" The lady in my old pair of headphones always sounded annoyed when I would push her buttons, kinda like "guhh.... do you really want to connect right now right now? You can't even satisfy me in any way. This song again? Aren't you a little old to be listening to 'Baby Shark' for the thousandth time?" "NO! And whats it to you? Just play the dang song!" So anyways, after it powers up this sexy vixen comes back and says "Noise cancelling on" then suddenly everything gets quiter. I'm overe here like "....Wooooow." So I pull out my phone and synced up bluetooth very easily. BUT THE ULTIMATE TEST IS YET TO COME! Click youtube, typing into search, scroll down and click on...... you guessed it! BABAY SHARK! Song came on and a tear ran down my cheek. It was like I was walking around blind all my life and suddenly someone installed a speaker right smack in the middle of my brain and I'm jammin to Baby Shark in Ultra High-Def and I ain't even high. Best set of earbuds I've had so far! Pros: -Great sound quality -Long battery life -Fast charging so I can get right back to my tunes -Easy to use -2 year warranty from mfg. Cons: -The earbuds are a little too sensative to touch -Noise cancelling resets from off to on everytime you power on -syncing with multiple devices seems difficult -Dosen't seal ear hole well enough Overall these are great, I went from a set of Skullcandy headphones that lasted 15hours on one charge to a set that last about 6 hours but they do charge fast when you pop them into their case (I got the charge times mixed up, I thought is was 2 hours charging for 10 minutes of use but it was actually 10 minutes of charging gives you 2 hours of use). My thing with my last skullcandy headphones was that the ear buds sealed my ear hole pretty good like an earplug, these don't do "as good" a job as that but I think the Noise cancelling is helping out with that as I do work in loud environments. I switch between my phone and PC bluetooth, the last set of ear buds would do it automatically if I turned off my phone and turned on the PC, these I gotta turn off and turn on manually.

Great build and audio quality, worth the cost.

The case is great, high quality. The ear bud chambers are magnetic. This was a nice surprise. My previous set was Jabra & when the case hits the floor it opens and both buds shoot off into different directions. The buds are very comfortable, tight fit and light weight. I can wear these for hours. Sound quality is also very good for the price. Highs, Mids and Lows are all there. Surprising amount of bass for the price. These are perfect for work. When I'm in my cube and listening to music, the passive noise isolation is more than adequate. My only minor issue (Very minor) is that these are not compatible with the skull candy app. But honestly I don't care. You don't need an app to change volume or audio mode. The physical buttons will do that work for you. For the cost and quality I'm truly surprised and feel like I received more for my money.

First I have to say the bud tuning with the app to your personal hearing is genius. Before the calibration, they sounded horible. Really good after calibrating. The Buds stayed securely in my ears and I could tell the improvement of the ANC verses ambient and no ANC. To me the ANC was approximately 85% with a slight bleed through but it did not bother me at all. I like the wireless charging case and the build of the case is top notch with everything fitting perfect and feels solid with the satin anti-finger print finish. Of course there is the option to plug in for charging. Pairing to devices was quick and easily recognized. The auto power , on and sync when removed from case was flawless. Again, the sound is great! Now I found the tap commands a little awkward and still getting use to it. Has a slight pause before command is realized so I guess timing and expectation takes a short learning curve. Not sure of the battery life. Have been using for approximately 1 week and still show 4 LED's on the charging/storage case. Skullcandy put alot into this product from the quality packaging to the quality build of the product itself.

Fine product, not worth the price.

The audio quality is great, but there are many drawbacks that make it not worth the price. First of all, static is a given with any Bluetooth device, but it seems especially prominent here, and it's infuriating when it happens. I used a pair of over-ears before and static was a omce-in-a-blue-moon sort of thing. It makes me question whether interference is really the cause here, as leaving the app and re-entering usually solves the issue for the duration of that app's usage. Also, I would argue that the noise cancelling doesn't really serve a purpose. As you're already literally sticking them inside of your ears they already cut out a lot of sound. Even in situations where you would want to use the feature, it has unsatisfactory results. I used them while weedwacking the lawn, and they made this terrible clicking noise that obviously came from the buds themselves, not the wacker. Other than those things, there's just an overall feeling of instability to them. There are also some unintuitive decisions when you only use one bud. When using just one, you're not able to skip tracks or change volume. While volume changing is understandable, I feel as though they should've changed the touch controls to allow skipping. About those touch controls, they are a little unresponsive. I feel that a physical button would do better, but that may just be me. Overall, they're good, but not worth the $130 price. I wish I would have gone with one of the lower-tier Indies.

Wow. I expected to like these earbuds but so far I’m blown away. I had previously been using another much more expensive brand (rhymes with schmapple) and had intended to switch between the two. After using the Skullcandy Indy ANC for just a couple weeks, I’m already considering selling or gifting my other pair. These Skullcandy earbuds just do everything I want. They’re easy to use, they sound great, the sit well in my ear and stay in. I’m still getting used to the controls, but they’re already easier and more intuitive than my previous pair. The noise cancellation seems to work well too, though I usually prefer to use one earbuds at a time, which these do well. I’ll be pushing these to everyone I know for sure!

I really dig these headphones. True wireless headphones in a small convenient package with good sound and great features. The noise cancelling works really well, great for plane/train travel where you want to block out unwanted noise. Noise cancelling can be turned on/off if you want to try and hear some of the outside world, like when exercising for instance. Sound is great considering these are small, in ear style headphones. They have paired easily with everything from my TV to my laptop and both of my phones. Battery life has been really good too. Skullcandy has done a really nice job with these.

I want to start with the good points. To me they are really comfortable and they don't feel like they are going to fall out. The sound quality is very good. The noise cancelling is good but not great. The instructions to pair them are easy to follow. What I don't like is that you have to wear both of them at the same time to control the volume as I rarely wear both. I don't like the tap twice to pause/restart whatever I am watching and listening to is not convenient in the slightest. The controls for these are what let them down for me personally. They charge quick enough and the wireless charging works great also.

I received these earbuds at a discount. I am glad that I chose to give these a shot. I have been in the market for wireless earbuds, but wanted something other than white, that had noise canceling, wouldn't be so loud to disturb a baby (while holding and rocking) and would hold up to workouts. These met all of my criteria. The app that is used to set preferences is straight forward and easy to use. The earbud touch commands (volume, skip, etc.) has taken a little getting used to. Charging is quick and battery life is strong. Would strongly consider another pair.

Love these buds! The fit is great and the performance is even better. Whether I'm in the office, on the road, or just trying to get active after work, the ANC blocks out the surrounding noise and helps me focus on the call, podcast or new song im obsessing over. They connect so easily out of the box and they even have Tile built-in so you can find them if you happen to misplace them. In a matter of minutes, these became my go to headphones.

Received these and after charging started the setup. Downloaded the Skullcandy app on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, did the steps to pair but unfortunately it just wouldn't. Strange, because it showed the picture of the Indy ANC earbuds but the circle kept going round and round and just wouldn't pair up. Luckily I have an Iphone 7 Plus, placed the app on that and presto! It paired perfectly and I was able to set up what I wanted easily. The neat thing is there is a profile for each ear in which you listen to various tones and it adjusts the earbuds to you personally. I did try connecting to my iPhone 12 Pro Max yesterday and it finally connected. However trying it today once again it failed. I use these mainly for calls and folks on the other end have not complained once I downloaded the app and adjusted settings. Before that they said I sounded like I was in a barrel and there was some static. Battery life is quite good. You are able to wear either the right or left earbud independently which is a big plus, especially for calls. I don't care for the different taps you have to remember as each bud is different for functions. A few times my calls got disconnected by accident. I have been charging them wirelessly and so far so good. On the app it will tell you the percentage of charge left. There are also 4 white LED percentage indicators across the front of the charging case. Very helpful for sure. I found the ANC to be quite adequate and they give you 3 different size earpieces to adjust if need be. I found these to be very comfortable and I can wear them all day without discomfort. Not many earbuds fit me so well and they don't fall out either. All in all I think these are pretty awesome in spite of the pairing issue with my phone. I highly recommend using the app setup as it makes a world of difference. I also have them integrated with Tile...so helpful! Would recommend purchasing and the price is really decent for their overall great quality.

When first receiving the wireless headphones, I tried pairing them without reading the instructions. Had I followed the instructions it would have taken only a second compared to the 10 minutes wasted and frustrated. After I had them connected I put them in my ears and could barely hear a sound. Any sounds that come through are very hard to hear I can literally put them in my ears and not hear anyone complaining or crying. Where have these been all my life?? I have not had one complaint with the Skullcandy Indy ANC - Noise Cancelling True Wireless as of yet, normally I get complaints about echoing when I wear other wireless headphones. I do audits for a living and I solely work from home. This has helped make my everyday talking and calling over 20 insureds a day so much easier.
