Great value for entry level gaming computer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to purchase a pre-built gaming PC. I wanted to build one and save dough (as one usually does in normal times), but these are not normal times. I was pricing parts for weeks and couldn't build something better for less than 1200$. This came with a fully functioning Ryzen 5, 2060 Super and 3000ghz ram. There is room to upgrade; A larger SSD being the first thing I would purchase. I have not messed with any video settings other than upgrading the drivers and running GeForce's software to customize settings to each game. I really like this feature because honestly I'm mostly PC noob. I've used Mac professionally for 30 years. This machine gets 150 FPS with the highest settings on Fortnite for my kid. Warhammer 2 comes in at 97 FPS with Ultra settings. I've haven't tested out too many other games but it seems to handle everything well that I've run. (Hearts of Iron IV, Northgard, Pathfinder...) According to MSI I've never hit anything above 70c. Warhammer purrs at 51 c and Fortnite usually creeps into the 60s. The fans are extremely quiet. I'm really happy with the temp of the machine. I love the case. Has that classic 80s stereo feel with the glass panel attached by a magnet. Makes for easy access. The build for this machine is pro. I did not see anything wrong other than I would be extremely careful when you pull out the weird packing contraption that is inside the case when you receive it. My came out pretty easy, BUT...there was one loose wire tie just hanging out on the motherboard that I saw before I turned it on. I would definitely break out the flash light and thoroughly inspect the interior for any foreign/loose items before powering up for the first time. Speaking of powering up, it booted fast and smooth from the start. I had the preinstalled Windows registered in a few minutes and everything has been fine since. I'm really happy with this product. Good build for a reasonable price.

Best pre-assembled PC you can buy right now.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL:DR: Fantastic system that hits the sweet spot of price to performance. It actually costs about what it would for you to build it yourself right now, but comes pre built with a good parts, good build quality and great tech support + a warranty. Price- Great deal. Initially I was planning to build my own PC with similar specs, but with the supply shortages for motherboards and PSU’s with the pandemic I started researching pre-built rigs and stumbled across this computer. Skytech is what is called a systems integrator. That means that they are using off the shelf components that anyone could buy (so the exact brand of each part you get may vary, i.e. your graphics card will be a RTX 2060 super, but brand of that card could be MSI, PNY, Zotac, etc) and they put them together to make the computer. The advantage to this is you get a much cheaper PC for the same performance of a brand like Dell or HP, with much greater upgradability down the line, but usually it will still be more expensive than building yourself. Parts in the PC I received with approximate prices right now on online Ryzen 3600 + wraith stealth (stock) cooler ~160 16 gb XPG gammix 3000 mhz ram ~60 Windows 10 home edition license ~100 PNY dual fan RTX 2060 super ~ 400 Thermaltake 500W white 80+ PSU (seems to be pretty universal for this build) -50-55 Asrock b450mac MB- around 80 normally (can't get a comprable board with wifi right now for that cheap however) Thermaltake H200 case -84 PNY CS900 500 gb SATA SSD – 50 membrane keyboard + mouse + 3 additional RGB case fans to supplement standard one fan in the H200 case – figure at least 50-60 bucks extra =~1,000 is the minimum you are looking at to get this PC as just non assembled parts!! Even if you take the price of windows 10 out of the equation, it’s hard to see how they are making much money off this build. You will not find a similar prebuilt priced this low anywhere else, and you’d usually expect to pay something like 1200 minimum for a similar prebuilt. Parts- see above, overall a solid set of components. If I was assembling myself I might have ponied up a bit more for a gold rated PSU, added a second larger drive, etc (I put in a 2 tb barracuda HD for bulk storage). But all the parts are solid + well assembled. My only criticism is the keyboard. Overall it was a membrane style backlit keyboard, but it has an annoyingly tiny backspace button that makes it hard to type. Will probably go back to my old one. Performance- Phenomenal. I use a 144p 144hz monitor (which will mean more work for the Graphics card to push the same FPS) and high settings with ray tracing turned on where possible, I’m seeing average FPS of 85 for borderlands 2, 75 for metro exodus (one of the most demanding titles out there), ~60-80 FPS for control on ultra with DLSS + Ray tracing on. About 105 FPS on GTAV. If you dropped that to standard 1080P ultra settings I’m sure you would push 100+ FPS in pretty much anything on the market Great performance given the price of this build. Design- Clean build, good cable management, good upgradability, and little things like the bios having been flashed to the latest version + XMP turned on in the bios to make sure full ram performance was available which isn’t always done by a systems integrator (if you don’t believe me search youtube for “NZXT BLD PC Undercover Review”) If you don’t know PC’s basically that means that the PC is all set up for you, just plug+play. Tech support- Great. I noticed that the CPU in my build seemed to be running a little hotter than I liked (though still within the range for ryzen 3600) under heavy loads+ benchmarks. I wrote skytech tech support an email and they responded within 6 hours, rapidly helped troubleshoot and resolve the issue (shout out to Kris from skytech Tech support)

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your going for a gaming computer that can play any game above 100 fps, this computer is the one you need first off the process of setting it up takes usually 10 minutes downloading games are super quick and you also get 240 fps in fortnite and 160-180 in warzone so this pic is a beast, it’s super silent, runs very smooth and in general it’s just a great gaming desktop

Great gaming PC, and really great warranty support
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this PC back in June to replace my older gaming PC, value wise it really is worth it, finding a pre-built system with these specs for under $1,000 is really a bargain. You will probably need to get some additional hard drives and only install more intensive games with long load screens on the SSD. Everything functions amazingly, and the system is so easy to overclock. According to benchmarking software, using the EZ performance boost with DOPI in the bios settings, the PC at stock performs better than 97% of all gaming PCs. The only downside I would note is the stock CPU cooler, the Ryzen 5 3600 comes with a Wraith Stealth as the standard cooler, this is fine for out of the box performance and gaming, but the problems arise with overclocking. The Wraith Stealth is adequate but the lowest performer of the Wraith series, at full CPU load temperatures will easily exceed 80 degrees, which is just not suitable for CPU longevity. Replacing this with a Wraith Spire, Wraith Prism or Wraith Max would be ideal, cost wise I would recommend the Wraith Prism, I would also recommend watching videos on how to change the cooler first. I continued to use the Wraith Stealth as while I did intensely game, it was never at a level that would have caused any cooling issues. However 4 months after purchase the PC began shutting off during certain game installs. After running stress tests on components individually on AIDA 64, the CPU would fail after around 30 seconds into the FPU stress test, after trying some trouble shooting such as reseating the heatsink and using top of the line thermal paste, it became apparent there was a deeper issue. The CPU diode temp would hit 104 degrees before shutting off, with the CPU temp rapidly rising to 86 before the shut off. I was worried about contacting the manufacturer because warranty is usually an issue, but I was certainly pleasantly surprised by the help I received. I mainly spoke with someone at Skytech Gaming called Jordan, we first went through some additional trouble shooting, however nothing made a difference. He sent me a prepaid shipping label to drop off the packaged machine at a drop off location, and the computer was sent to their office on the other side of the country, repaired where I was given an update and new tracking number. I sent the computer to their office on Friday October 30th, and received it back, in full working order on Friday November 13th, exactly 2 weeks and during a pandemic. The CPU was replaced and the cooler upgraded to a Wraith Spire to help with cooling, they had run full stress tests overnight with no issued. I too ran those stress tests and ran into no issues. This service was exceptional and incredibly efficient. By far the most pleasant PC manufacturer I've ever dealt with. Despite the CPU issue I still give this machine 5 stars in every aspect because CPU defects happen, AMD produce millions of CPUs and defects in manufacturing will always occur in a small amount of components, which lead to rapid degradation over time. I cannot fault the manufacturer of this unit over a defect at an AMD factory, that was undetectable when I first bought this computer, all I can do is judge them on their attempt to remedy the problem, which was second to none.

Great product for great price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an overall great prebuilt pc. It costs way less then if you build a pc with same specs. Easy to setup and use, and there was no damage. It came a week earlier than it was supposed to. I ordered on a monday, it was supposed to come next tuesday, but it came on this weeks thursday. Great pc and I definitely recommend this for anybody in 6th grade like me who's getting their first gaming pc. You could use it for distant learning too, and even game at the same time!

Must Have
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good PC i recommend it to anyone in the market looking for a prebuilt gaming setup. Runs Warzone at 120-140 fps on high 1080p settings very fast startup times, i would recommend getting a Bluetooth adapter as this pc does not come equipped with bluetooth only Wi-fi, other than that maybe some more memory and this setup will be setup for the future at least for the next 3-5 years. Came with a pny 2060 super graphics card a pny 500gb ssd a gigabyte b450 motherboard a 500 watt 80+ power supply with 4 rgb fans, make sure to install graphics card drivers and you will be good to go. Ram was running at proper speed out the box was no need to go to bios to correct that. Best bang for your buck if looking for 1080p-4k gaming

Bang for the Buck Hands Down!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say the 5 stars says it all, however here I go. I am a Cyber Security Architect and have been in the IT game for 20 yrs, my 10yr old and 14yr old love this machine. I did alot of research before I bought this and I was still skeptical due to the price point for the components that it had. I searched high and low to find a comparable machine for the money and I couldn't even come close. Anything that did come close had either 8gb of RAM, a 2TB 5400rpm spindle drive or a 6gb GPU (which is a known problematic GPU). They got the first one and I made them share it just to ensure it lived up to the components, and IT DID on every game they play the FPS was amazing (on a 144hz monitor) : Fortnite = 180FPS Valorant = 170FPS Rainbow Six Seige = 140FPS Latest COD = 165FPS all of these running in 1080. Just an amazing box, performed so well that I ordered another one as soon as 1 became available. Highly Recommend. No comment on support because we haven't needed it.

Excellent value with a few minor issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to wait a little bit before writing a review and am glad I did. I have had a few small issues and been in contact with Skytech about them. The best way to reach them is honestly via chat. Try to keep in mind they are a small company offering a great product on a national scale. You should expect great customer service because they deliver that. You should not expect immediate help because they are not staffed for that. On to the PC. It is great and almost perfect. It was supposed to come with bluetooth but did not. The wifi card that came with it was bad and caused BSOD errors very frequently. After removing the bad card per Skytech I was still getting some BSOD errors. After running an SFC in the command prompt the system repaired some corrupted windows files. I am still getting some infrequent BSOD stos and emailed requesting a call from a tech instead of chat. To put things in perspective, I have an $1200 Asus TUF gaming laptop that also occasionally gives me a BSOD stop. It just happens with windows sometimes and has all the way back to windows 95. The difference is in 95 you had way fewer manufacturers and possible upgrades so things were less complicated. This PC is basically a custom built PC on a commercial scale. I built a spreadsheet to see how good a value it was and the parts add up to around $1200 plus tax. So at $999 with flexible no interest financing from best buy its a no brainer. Just don't expect it to be perfect out of the box. If you want perfect out of the box or don't know what a BIOS screen is or how to get to it, you might do better to spend 2 to 3x as much and get an Alienware. However, you could end up with similar issues even on a mainstream name brand. It is a fact of life with any windows PC. Nothing runs perfect without a little tweaking.

READ THIS REVIEW!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this PC for about 2 weeks now, PC all around is great, no complaints at all! I do recommend a few things that you should do on top of just purchasing this PC, the first one being upgrade the Hard Drive!!! i ended up going with a 512 Patriot Viper VPN100, this will make your PC boot even faster and it allows you to use the other drive as a backup! The next upgrade would be to add more ram, i found sticking with the 3000mhz was fine and just upgrading to a total of 32GB really allows you to multitask even more on this PC. There are a total of 6 USB 3.0 ports on this machine. I would also recommend adding a powered USB hub to extend your connections!!! Lastly i would like to add 1 recommendation to Skytech itself! When upgrading to an M.2 drive most drives do not come with a M.2 screw, and finding out on the day you want to install it that the board has a standoff but no M.2 screw is kinds frustrading. I would recommend adding the M.2 screw to these builds in order to ensure anyone wanting to do future upgrades is able to do so! This is a AsRock B450m/AC board with the Ryzen 3600 CPU with the stock AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler that does a decent job! Video Card is a Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super 8GB. Stock ram is XPS 2x8GB at 3000mhz. SSD is a PNY with 530/466 Read/Write speeds observed on my build. I would recommend installing the Asus Shop after installation as it will automatically install all drivers to the most up to date. The RGB software is also decent and will allow you to change your RGB ram if you choose to order some. I went with Crucial Ballistix RGB ram 2x8 and they are working great!!! If anyone has any question please post them on here and i will check periodically

An Incredible Value for First-time Gaming PC Buyer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this PC for a couple weeks now and it runs like a dream. I was gaming on a laptop for the last 8 years or so and decided it was time to finally upgrade to a full desktop PC. After pricing out the same parts found in this Skytech Shadow rig to build my own, I determined that just buying this prebuilt PC would come out to be a slightly better value. The specs on this thing are awesome, it has handled any game I've thrown at at. I've been able to hit up to 120 FPS on Modern Warfare with it and even play No Man's Sky on ultra settings at a stable 60 FPS. This is highly impressive for anyone who is looking to upgrade from an outdated laptop for gaming or even first-time PC players. I recommend doing a bit of research on how you'd like to augment this PC as well while waiting for it to ship or be restocked. I personally added a 2TB HDD since the 500GB SSD is not enough space to store a library of games. I needed to buy a SATA connection cable to connect the HDD to my motherboard, but the PC did come with extra SATA power chords for connecting the new HDD to the power supply. If you have been eyeing this PC for a while now and it hits all the specs you want, I highly recommend buying it.

it's more than enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no complaints. This thing pretty much runs everything at max graphics above 100 fps. Came a few days early (was shipped) and picked it up as soon as possible. The RTX 2060 Super is pretty close to an RTX 2070 in performance. I didn't get this thing for ray tracing so I didn't mind missing out on the 30 series. I'll probably just upgrade it 5 years from now. The case is awesome and the LEDs are controllable to an extent. Even though it doesn't come with an extra terabyte hard drive I feel it's better that way because I have an excuse to get a TB SSD instead.

Poor PSU but decent RGB lighting
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice case and clean inside. Main issue is only ThermalTake Toughpower 600W 80+Gold. This is a newer version of their 2016 unit but with a power switch and hopefully, better caps. The original didn't have a great review. GPU is MSI on this one with Gigabyte MB. I was too lazy to remember the model. Don't know what the RAM is but it's running only 1600mhz so I have to find a way to increase that. Windows update was at 1909 so I updated that and other drivers. Updated to newest nVidia GPU driver. This doesn't have any bloatware and basically doesn't have anything other than Win 10 installed. You have to download specific apps to run the pc. Currently downloaded CPU-Z for Gigabyte. Now to hunt for other drivers to complete the basic setup. Did I mention the RGB lights are nice. Keyboard and mouse is nice with the lights but will replace it with wireless so the "coolness" is moot. Machine overall is nice but meh in the wow factor.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall great Gaming pc. Runs Warzone great. Even at pretty much all high settings. Only issue I had was when I first turned it on. Had a clicking noise coming from power supply area. But it has went away. Believe it was just a wire hitting the fan blade. I was looking to build a pc but for this price. It made more sense to buy this. All parts in my pc were spec to the pics.

High quality, great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this prebuilt PC because it had the best specs I could find at this price. I have not been disappointed with its performance at all. This hardware combination has no problems running modern games on high/ultra graphics settings at high framerates. I paired it with a 144hz 1080p display, and as an example, I get 130 FPS consistently on the recent Star Wars Battlefront II title with graphics set to ultra. I was pleased to see that it came with a quality control certificate stating that the build was inspected, driver/software installation was confirmed, and performance was tested. Sure enough, I have not encountered any problems. The fan noise is neither overly loud nor annoying. I ended up really liking the Skytech keyboard and mouse that were included. I recommend giving these a try before buying additional ones.

Doing Great So Far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got this computer a day ago and so far it’s doing great. It runs games pretty good, around 144 - 160+ FPS at most times. It is easy to setup for someone who hasn’t had a pc like me. I’m really liking this pc so far. Mine came with a asrock b450m/ac motherboard, OLOy 2x8gb 3000mhz, zotac gaming ryzen 2060 s 8gb, and a pny 500gb ssd. I’ll come back a week later to give more feedback.

The perfect PC for a newbie
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This PC has been an absolute dream. I’m new to the Pc gaming scene and this bad boy can do anything I want and more. I am playing my games on a 2k monitor, and it has zero issues whatsoever. Games like CS:GO, Call of Duty, Witcher 3, etc... can all run on ultra settings without causing any issues to the FPS. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the Build is luck of the draw. What I mean is, you can get completely different parts in your system than what I did. I was lucky to get everything just as advertised. However, my brother also ordered this Pc and actually got an off brand graphics card, and different mother board. He also was lucky enough to get a 1 TB SSD instead of the advertised 500GB. Not a serious issue. But hopefully you all can see what I mean by luck of the draw. Other than that, I am totally happy with my purchase and do recommend it!

Great PC, recommend but inspect the product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.enjoy this PC. everything is Great, i'm a light gamer, and being that this was my first PC, i was excited to switch from consule gaming to PC gaming. All specs for this PC make playing amazing, make sure you update your graphics card as soon as you get it, if you are new to PCs. I'm able to play every single game atleast at 120fps. The only thing I'd tell you to look out for, and i failed to catch on time, is all your display ports connected to your graphics card in the back, they gave me 1 HDMI, 1 Display port, and 1 DVI connection... The pictures do not show a DVI. connection. INSPECT it looks like the item above, I will be contacting Best Buy see what they can do, the specs don't mention how many ports of HDMI and Display ports there will be, but based on the pictures, i was not given the correct one.

Decent First Gaming Rig
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good first rig for gaming and definitely wouldn't be disappointed getting this PC, even though I was a bit spectacle of this company brand which I ain't never heard of...depsite me being unsure, once it arrived to my doorstep n quickly setup the rig and booted up all my worries were gone. The setup was smooth n painless and took me roughly about 30mins to finalize everything and alright made some minor upgrades already such as the cpu cooler fan and added another SSD for more storage n space for games n etc since the 500GB SSD fills up way to fast and is not enough is your gone be using it for gaming and work also. To sum it all together, don't hesitate to get this if your looking to buy your first gaming rig, it's definitely worth it and the price!

Great value and great performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was thinking about putting together a PC until I saw this one here. The same components are basically the same price (when you take into account the RGB extra fans and wifi. The only thing that will be better is the addition of an NVME SSD instead of the SATA one that came with it. Looks exactly like the picture. I noticed there was a fan cable somewhat loose and I had to make sure it was attached correctly otherwise everything else was good. The looks great with the RGB. one thing I will update is adding another hard drive for more space. Mine came with a 3000MHZ RAM and a MSI graphic card.
