This works as it should. I like the fact that it accepts a micro usb connection so I was able to extend the cord using an adapter and my Arlo Pro charged as normal. My gripes are that it’s too big aesthetic-wise and I wish it came in other colors to match my home. Lastly, the price is not commensurate to its functionality. But overall it’s a good product. My camera stays charged throughout the year.

If you have an Arlo camera someplace near Wifi but not near a power source this is a quick way of providing power without having to constantly recharge the built in battery. There are some trade-offs so I would recommend an always on power source over this. - panel isn't enough to power the camera itself, just keep the battery charged if the camera isn't heavily used - camera can not be part of continuous recording unless it has a constant power source - during winter cold temps (below freezing) and extremely hot summer heatwaves, you battery will not charge and this panel will not power the camera. During long spells camera might run out of battery power. My biggest complaint is only one panel per camera. There isn't a way to split off the panel to feed two cameras at once. So while this panel may produce enough power to top off two cameras which are close to each other, you still have to buy two panels.

As long as you plug it in completely, which is a bit of a challenge based on the tight space of the connections, it works well. The panel had the same Error message other reported and would not charge at first, so I took the advise Of another reviewer on here and, voila! It began to work correctly. I installed it In an area which is a far distance from my router which makes the battery get low more quickly than my other arlo pro cameras (kind of like when your cell phone searches for signal constantly, it tends to kill your battery faster). This fixed my problem for now. Just make sure You mount and position where you can get the most sunlight and make sure it’s plugged in all the way and you should be In Business

I am so happy I have these now, I won’t have to climb up a ladder and remove my Arlo camera from there mounts. They are working great, since I hooked them up to my cameras they have shown 100% battery charge. Thanks for all the great products and the great service

I bought and installed four of these solar panels for my Arlo Pro cameras, and so far they are working great for keeping my camera batteries charged at 100% even with a lot of animal motion activity around the cameras. Installation was fast and easy, everything you need is included. I'm happy so far with these solar panels.

Once this is set up it's great. It's holding the camera battery consistently above 90%. Setting it up is a pain. The panel is $80 and I never saw it go on sale. You need to know the solar game a little bit before installing it, but 30 minutes or so of google research should get you there. If you're not holding a charge you have it oriented the wrong way.

Honestly a little bit on the pricey side. But very very helpful with keeping your camera system going. I did have a little problem with it in the beginning charging the the camera which was resolved once I attached it to a fully charged camera. So far so good let’s see how it holds up in the winter.

This product is constructed extremely well. I have one at the front of the house for over a year and it has functioned and has endured all weather conditions in this Florida weather. Not to worry if it doesn't charge the battery completely to 100% if the day is cloudy because as soon as it receives the sunlight you will see it charge it up. This is the reason I bought a second one and will also purchase a third. I recommend the Arlo Pro Solar Panel.

The solar charger is placed next to one of our cameras outside. It keeps it charged almost to 90% full. I’d like 100%. Definitely works good

Great for Camera out in Yard

I have this attached to an Arlo Pro 2 camera out in the yard attached to a fence and too far from an electrical outlet. It is keepig the Arlo fully charged on sunny days. On cloudy days and nights the battery comes into play but within a few hours the sun fully recharges the battery. I'm in TN and even a March sunshine is enough to recharge it and next year I'll get to test it in winter sunshine. It was real easy to install and hook up.

Only gets sun a few hours a day but keeps the camera fully charged. Well worth the price is battery savings alone, even rechargeable batteries. It is in a high traffic area and a pain to change batteries ever three days.

While a bit pricey the solar panel appears well made and easy to install. Basically, the same set-up as the camera. The camera I used the solar panel requires a ladder to reach it. By having this panel, I no longer have to worry about changing out the battery. I have had this for 1 month and the charge level has not gone below 95%. I will need to see how it handles winter, though in my area, still rather sunny even when cold.

This is a must have product for Arlo Camera’s it’s easy to setup and no need to keep taking down the cameras to charge. This will fully charge the cameras outside with the power todo the sun plus free power source. No need to worry about the electric bill going a bit high with this product.

But it helps. I have my camera pointing out to the driveway and street and I was surprised by how many cars go by per day. Hundreds, seemingly, so the battery on the camera was draining quite fast, a week and it was gone. I got the solar panel to avoid having to go up a ladder every week to charge the camera. The panel helps, but doesn't prevent it from draining down in two weeks. Right now, it is at 84% after charging it a week ago. I think it will get better when summer comes around and there is more sun and longer days. Also, I don't think the cord is long enough. I'd like a few more feet to be able to mount it on my roof, that would increase the charge as well. I'll keep it, because it does help, but i still have to climb a ladder occasionally.
