But it helps. I have my camera pointing out to the driveway and street and I was surprised by how many cars go by per day. Hundreds, seemingly, so the battery on the camera was draining quite fast, a week and it was gone. I got the solar panel to avoid having to go up a ladder every week to charge the camera. The panel helps, but doesn't prevent it from draining down in two weeks. Right now, it is at 84% after charging it a week ago. I think it will get better when summer comes around and there is more sun and longer days. Also, I don't think the cord is long enough. I'd like a few more feet to be able to mount it on my roof, that would increase the charge as well. I'll keep it, because it does help, but i still have to climb a ladder occasionally.

I am so glad that I purchased this solar panel. I mounted an outside camera on the second floor of my house along with the solar panel. This solar panel means that I never need to charge the battery for the outside camera! It was easy to install and I highly recommendation purchasing a solar panel if you are mounting an outside camera.

I have an Arlo camera in an area not easy to get to with no power plug nearby and charging the battery was a pain. The solar panel recharges the battery daily with no need to swap batteries anymore. It is a little pricey and without the discount I received I may not have purchased it. Now if the camera lens only cleaned itself :-)

The solar panel is still working despite some of the other reviews I read about it. I have only had it for a month but it is still working, I can’t comment on longtime usage though. I chose Arlo solar panel in case something goes wrong with the camera, that way I can say I used official Arlo merchandise so the warranty remains valid

Exactly what I needed for placement & convenience. Was easy to set up & keeps my camera at a consistent 92%. My only complaint is the price. I think that $70 is a bit much for a solar panel of this size in this day and age.

I love having the Arlo solar panel for my outdoor cams. I never have to recharge the batteries or even think about if the cameras are staying charged. I have had them for 2 months now and love everything about them. Installed them on the cameras covering my front and back doors of the house. Set it and forget it. Highly recommend.

I installed this solar charger to keep from having to take the camera down to charge, and more important put in back in the exact position it was before taking it off. The charger works even on foggy days. I would recommend this charger to anyone who is hesitant to risk climbing a ladder just to charge their camera.

I am glad I have the solar panel charger so I no longer have to get on a ladder to replace the battery. My battery is always at a 100% now!

I mounted my 4 Arlo cameras on the side of the house with a ladder. I got tired of getting out my ladder, climbing the ladder, retrieving the cameras, one-by-one, to bring them in the house to charge them for an hour and then go back and climb the ladder again to mount and position the camera, every week. Now that I have a Solar Panel for 3 out 4 of my cameras, my life is a lot easier and more secure. I buy them one at a time because I can't afford to buy all of them at once.

This is my 3rd solar panel for the Arlo Pro camaras. Recommend this panel to everyone. We don’t have to be worry if the camara is low on battery. This take away the hassle on constantly getting on a ladder to take the camera to charge it for a few hours and then back on the ladder to set them back.

With this solar panel installed, you never have to worry about charging the battery again. Set it and forget it. Easy to install.

I am completely satisfied with my Arlo cameras and the fact that i never have to worry about charging them is the cherry on top.

I read the other poor reviews of the solar panel but pulled the trigger anyway. It was an easy install, but it needed to be up about 48 hours before it kicked in and started charging the camera during direct sunlight. It’s been working flawlessly for 60 days now, I’ll come back and edit the review if it dies on me.

I bought an off brand solar panel for my Arlo Pro cameras so I didn't have to get the ladder out to recharge the batteries every 30 days or so. The off brand solar panel didn't work well with the Arlo Cameras of I purchased the Arlo Solar Panel. This device has worked fine for three weeks. After charging the battery up to 100% this solar panel has kept the camera charged 90-100% without receiving charging faults or not charging the camera at all like the cheaper off brand solar panels. My suggestion is, pay the extra money and buy the Arlo Solar Panel.

Before purchasing this item, I found myself always needing to remove & charge. Now it's done automatically. Worth every penny!

It is important to note that like any thing solar when used as a means for charging or powering any device, it requires a lot of direct sunlight. Since our security cameras were installed, there was one solar panel which had to be replaced. That was a week ago and since then it has a provided a continuous charge to the camera. We have a total of 6 solar panels charging 6 cameras around our house. It is significant to know (as I was informed), during the winter with much less sunlight, the solar panels will hold about a 20% charge. However, even under the current conditions, our cameras have still operated well under a 20% charge which is evident by observing the charging level through the settings.

On higher installations this will keep batteries charged.

When we bought our Arlo cameras we were frustrated we had to re-charge them every couple of months (not easy to get them down where they are located). But this product solved those issues, now we love our cameras! This solar charger was easy to install and works exactly as expected. 100% charge after 5 months!

Great alternative power solution to avoid having to change and recharge your Arlo camera batteries. Works as expected.

I wanted to be able to leave the camera outside without having to charge it. If it works well I will purchase another.
