I have 6 of these being used in Palm Springs area and never have had an issue. I try to wipe off every few months to ensure the surface doesn’t get too dirty. Not sure if this matters, but it makes me feel better. :)

For the camera's setup at higher heights, these are essential! For setting your camera in a area easily accessible simply take them down to pull in and recharge. Not all your cameras need solar power. I love the option!

Keeps my driveway camera battery topped up, which is always the first to run down due to constant activity. Just make sure the battery's fully charged before connecting the panel and havethe panel facing direct sunlight.

I got the solo cam kit up in a tree outside and its been a week, still working like a charm no issues yet. It's worth the money not having to climb up in a tree every week to swap out a charged battery. I have my cams on often for parking lot security.

Set up is a breeze but beware about the short power cord. You’ll have to be strategic about the placement, otherwise it works great.

Works pretty well didn’t charge the Arlo completely, as I expected it would, tried pointing it differently etc...

I bought this last year and is still working PERFECTLY!! I had originally spent more on another brand that stated it would work with my Arlo but it did not. This one has not let me down several months later. HIGHLY recommend.

overall product is good but took long time to remove error messages saying it's incompatible. Netgear were also involved with troubleshooting.

15 install into the side of the house. One key note is you need to install a charged battery to start. It will then keep the charge but will not charge a dead battery. I am going to order some more.

Solar panels worked great for 2 years. Now one of them suddenly stopped charging my camera.

I have (3) of these now deployed with my outdoor cameras. They do a great job of recharging the devices throughout the day. I've even seen a pretty good recharge rate on cloudy days or rainy days.

Bought for my son because he didn't like changing the battery of one that was outside. It works well but there was another one at the front door but didn't get enough sunlight so returned.

The first one I had got water damage, hopefully this one will last..

Cannot provide a viable review at this point in time because I have yet install this item. I did note that the effective temperature range bottoms at 0 F and Maryland experiences temps below freezing.

We didn’t know how much we were missing until we installed the cameras! There is so much activity in our yard we were pulling down the camera every day to charge it until we purchased the solar charging panel.

The first panel I installed appears to be discharging my battery. I have to manually charge the battery after a week with the camera turned off.

Hooked up around thankgiving 2018. It began charging immediatly but battery levels kept dropping. Read instructions and learned you need to start with full battery when connect solar panel. I replaced battery with fully charged one and then learned that this solar panel will not charge below freezing. Also the Alro batteries won't charge below freezing to avoid damage to the battery. Kind of a bummer during cold winter.

Haven’t had to my arlo camera in months. Sometimes I get charging errors when the temperature is below freezing.

These work well in an area that gets direct sunlight, once it starts getting too much shade, you get less charging power!

This is a great product if you don't want to keep charging the Arlo batteries especially if your cameras are mounted in a place not easily accessible to get to! Highly recommend and works like a champ!
