needsbetter range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.tough to use because the cord is only 6 feet long and most times does not help you reach a good location for sun

Doesn't hold up ...
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Panel died after 4 months of light use ... it's supposed to have a 1 year warranty but I'm finding Arlo is not quick to honor that. I've had 3 email exchanges now with their support team asking me to perform obvious troubleshooting steps. Quite frustrating. If you are handy, build your own solar setup and avoid this nonsense.

Satisfactory
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would seriously have second thoughts before purchasing the remaining two for my cameras. They take way too long to recharge for full use of the cameras.

Great charger while the last
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great charger this is the second one I’ve bought the first one I didn’t buy the geek squad warranty It quit working in about three weeks ago and a Arlo won’t warranty it even though I just bought it in December 2019 you call them they just run you around between different people Then eventually hang up so if you buy it make sure you buy the geek squad warranty

Does not charge
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this back in October 2018 and never really had a need for them since I had my Arlo Pro cameras inside. When I decided to put one outside a couple months ago, I took this out and plopped it on my room and faced it towards true south and angled just like the Arlo instructions. Left it alone and then noticed two weeks later that my battery was starting to die. Never did notice if actually even triggered a charging state in the app. Waited again a couple of weeks and replaced the camera and a different fully charged battery. Two weeks later it still kept on dying. Thought it was perhaps set at too high of a sensitivity, so I turned it all default. Still no charging status and same exact thing. I don't really check my arlo cameras until later at night so I couldn't tell if it actually was charging. I'm now contacting Arlo to see what we can do. Other than that, the cameras are awesome! Just had to buy AC Powered chargers and long 30 foot cables.

Do not buy for your own sake!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have read the plethora of negative reviews on Amazon etc, but I ignored them. The device no longer charges and didn't even last 6 months. I purchased this in the first place so that I don't have to take out a ladder and charge my camera every several months. It worked great when it worked but now it's just a piece of plastic.

Better than charge the battery every week!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not what I expected but better than charge the battery every week. Still deciding if I will use the second panel I purchased

Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product works great, just wish the cameras held their battery life more and there would be no need for this.

They work when they work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased 3 solar pads, one was broke, I had to return, Now I get a charging fault error and one camera will not charge with the solar unit, I've tried what Arlo suggested, unplug and re-plug and that's a joke. Stay away from Arlo, they have too many issues and No one in customer service, can help you, all they do is replace your equipment, But the problems continue one after the other. Everytime there's a problem you have to climb up and take down the cameras, and that defeats the purpose of having the solar panels Read reviews before buying, it may seem all fine and dandy at first, but then the problems occur

Should have done more research
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed with the whole Arlo system. After one year we have dealt with at least one major issue a week. The new sign on verification makes it extremely slow and unreliable. If you can, go with a hard wired system.

Ok
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately my solar panel that I purchased stopped working after about six months

Doesn't work in cold weather
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Somehow, I missed the fine print where it mentions that the ARLO cameras don't charge when it's less than 32F degrees. So I've got it all set up for summer, and I'm HOPING it works. But until then, I'll keep charging my ARLO camera every 3 days (and I'm not happy about it).
