This product is terrible

I have the Arlo pro 2 and it’s not helping with my battery life. I live in jersey and the weather isn’t always the best, so maybe that’s why? But regardless, it doesn’t charge well when it’s super sunny outside. It sucks cause this camera is for the side of my house and I don’t have an outlet to plug in one of the outdoor chargers, so my only choice was to get the solar panel or keep going up a ladder and unscrewing my camera from the mount. Do not get this solar panel!!!!

Garbage units

Water Damage within days

Charging issues

The solar panels are both facing up to the sky, it’s Been clear days no clouds or nothing. I was getting ready to buy 4 of them as I purchased 4 cameras but probably will he better just keeping them charged 24-7 and running wires throughout the house which I did not want to do. Not a fan of this at all now and extremely Disappointed

Not working as expected

Ensured that both solar panels were receiving enough sunlight. Neither one of them charged the batteries in my Arlo Pro 2 cameras. Actually the batteries were discharging quickly, within one day. I tried adjusting several camera settings and it still had the same problem. By the time I installed the panels it was too late to return them to Best Buy. Trying to get customer support from Arlo.

Arlo is not worth it.

Finally had to wire our Arlo just to get it to work. Now one of them is not working again. Would not recommend purchasing Arlo security cameras or solar panels. If you can get it to stay connected, the picture quality is not very good, especially at night. Also will sometimes just blur with lines through it. Does not record everything coming and going, only when it wants to.

An Amazon knock off worked better.

I've had these cameras for 9 months, the one connected to knock off stays charged. The one connected to the legit arlo solar panel NEVER charges. I think I only got a month's worth of product use for the Arlo solar Panel, it's frustrating.

Arlo support is completely worthless. Paid someone to place this in a tree and then it stopped working. Arlo support told me "it does not charge the battery" - what? A solar panel that doesn't charge a battery ? Only from Arlo. All sort of error messages saying the Arlo solar panel is not compatible with the Arlo camera.... a total mess and a joke of a company

Keeps the camera fully charged. The other two have the same problem - energy dribbles into them occasionally and they both have less than 15% charge. If this was just one, I would figure that this was a glitch. But when it happens to two of them, Arlo has a problem on its hands. I should have returned them but waited too long...
