I haven't been able to get it to charge my camera yet. I guess we will see if it even works.

Ok buy, will buy again. Will recommend product. Doesn't work with activity zone.

The cord is way to short. The solar panel doesn't generate enough power to fully charge the camera. You will, no matter with you do, have to charge the camera. All this does is make you camera stick out like a sore thumb. It does decrease how frequently you will have to charge the camera. But not worth is.

This is my 2 unit, these for me, are at best garbage, the most aggravating part is I use solar on all my equipment just to keep battery charged, I use solar lights, flashlights et. This will not keep battery charged, it just stops working . they are slick because of there adapter set up. I am better off getting a solar battery and two , 20.00 dollar chargers.

The solar panel does not work in cold weather, cloudy days or rainy days.

Had these for five months now and not very happy. They wouldn’t charge a solar powered calculator; there, better Best Buy? Instead of wasting money on these things, I should have just bought replacement batteries. I wind up having to replace the batteries just as much now as before I bought ‘em.

Don’t waste your money is not worth it . Hi spend nearly $100 for this product and they speak highly about it to only get about 13% charge when your battery life not worth it I’d rather buy another battery and keep climbing Six-foot ladder to install a new battery every four days

Instead of charging the battery it drains it. My guess that the camera thinks it is plugged in into an outlet. I am in Colorado and get plenty of sunshine. One day it is telling me that the battery is dead, next day it could have 70%. I tried with two different batteries and it is the same. DO NOT BUY.

After only having the item for about 5 months, it stopped working. Dealing with NetGear support has been an utter nightmare. I would NOT recommend buying this product.

This is the second one I've tried, neither one has ever worked. I thought the first was a fluke, but it wasn't. Dont waste your money on the solar panel. I am also not to thrilled with the cameras. They do not have any kind of continuous recording so things get missed.

solar panel to charge outdoor cameras , panel is to provide continues charge to the battery in camera , no sure if panel ever worked ,no indicator to show power or connection, VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH PRODUCT ..

It's not working properly than supposed to works .

I purchased the solar panel to keep a hard to reach camera charged. It did not work as advertised, and the camera charge soon went to 0%. I eventually took the solar panel back for a refund. As a side note shop for another brand of security cameras.

Weatherproofing is terrible. I had it mounted and oriented the way they instruct you and literally 10 months later the glass has water behind it and the software app says there is a panel fault. Totally garbage.

Set up is easy but as far as charging the camera Nope! Just could not get it to work Searched google and phoned tech support to no avail. I gave up and just ran a plug to a near by light switch

I got this to go with the pro cam I purchased as well, only to get a warning telling me that the cam will not charge due to cold temperature. Cold temperature of 35°f or lower makes the cam and this useless

Sadly the panel doesn’t always charge the camera :\ not does it keep it charged. I don’t get it - oh well. But I would not recommend this product as it doesn’t work well.

Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t, says non compatible charger, very frustrating since it’s an actual Arlo product
