bought 2 of these solar panels for my arlo go wireless camera. Bought the first when I purchased the camera. It stopped working within approx 2 weeks. Bought a second and it has also stopped working. Camera will charge when plugged into wall but solar panels stop chartering after a few weeks. Don’t buy. Customer service will not help you. This is the first review I have ever left on a website. Poor quality. Bad company.

Bought 5 panels , one for each camera . Thought I would not have to climb a latter again for at least a year . Wrong ! . Out of the five , two have been giving me issues since purchased 6 months ago . Finally both are down , not charging . No support from either Best buy or Net Gear . At 80 dollars a pop . I'm hoping the remaining one's don't start giving out . Have done all trouble shooting recommended , checked all reviews with no results . Nothing else to use in place . Only thing is to buy the extended warranty at Best Buy next time . Disappointed .

This panel is awful. I have multiple Pro2 cameras around the exterior of our home and got tired of continually getting the ladder to get them down and charge them. Put a couple of these solar panels on with a couple cameras. Remember the old solar calculators we used in school that worked well in low light?? THESE ARENT THEM! If the panel is in any type of shadow at all, they don’t work. Faced at a clear sky but not directly into the sun?? They won’t work! The only time I’ve had them work at all is 100% direct sunlight and even then, they don’t charge fast enough to make any difference. My advice on this product is save your $80.

This thing actually discharges my Arlo camera when in full Houston sunlight. Charge stays up all night but goes down rapidly when solar panels is exposed to full sunlight! Amazing product! (not)

Purchased 2 of these, One Works the Other is Bad

Ok I purchased two of these back in June of 2018 for my two pro cameras. One would charge normally and I had no problems with it but the other started to give me error messages. Within about a few weeks of use. I get this every time "The charging source connected to the camera cannot charge your battery. Please use an Arlo power adapter." So it is hit or miss with these solar panels and getting netgear to send you a new one is crazy. I have my copies of the receipt and yet they still need a serial number. Which is not easy to do because of how high and where the solar panel is mounted. It is doable but I would have rather done it all once.

    Lousy solar panel

Solar Panel worked great until the rain came , after that been a complete mess . Obviously the cable is defective . Spent way to much of my time replacing the cable which goes from the camera to the solar panel . Arlo got this one wrong . Like everyone else complaining about error messages mine is no different. Sad Arlo that you didn’t pull these from the shelf and replace them . Would not recommend.

Every time it rains i get a charging fault, replacing the cable hasn't helped, calling support is a nightmare. they can never assist you, and never follow through on sending replacement products. if i had to do it all over again i wouldn't buy arlo
