No more ladders, i’ve read reviews on these some negative so I would advise purchasing the extended warranty as I did I do not regret my purchase seem to work fine for me I think most negative reviews are from people not following The instructions you must make sure your cameras battery is 100% charged prior and do not remove the power lead that comes preinstalled on the solar panel as it states As there is a very small sticker on the solar panel which I it’s too small should’ve placed right on the face of the solar panel as to not miss that

I installed this and with a few hours of direct sunlight I am able to get 20%+ increase in my battery life. We will see how it holds up but so far I am very pleased. A bit pricey but if I get a year or two out of this will be worth it not climbing my ladder every week or so.

Bought to charge hard to reach cameras. Works very well and have not received any errors yet. Even works out of direct sunlight and in the shade.

Easy set up and install, keeps camera battery charged as intended, saves pain and hassle of always bringing down camera to recharge battery.

The battery life of the Arlo 2 wasn’t as I hoped. I have health issues and changing the batteries frequently just wasn’t to my liking. I bought the solar panels and they work beautifully. No more getting up and down a ladder. I have hope that the solar panels will last. We but our panels on the roof instead of directly besides camera mainly because the roof gets more sun. I have had issues with solar lights not getting charged when hung on house but no issues with solar panels hung on roof.

Great product. Loves the solar panels. They are a life saver ni more climbing up to charge my cameras

I bought two of these panels for my two Arlo pro cameras. I installed both 6 days ago. This morning, one of the two cameras started giving me an error message stating that "The charging source connected to the camera cannot charge your battery. Please use an Arlo power adapter." I have isolated the problem to that particular solar panel, as the same camera when connected to the other (so far) functioning panel doesn't give me that error message. So, 1 out of 2 broke down in less than a week. That's junk. And to top it off, Arlo support has been making me jump through hoops and there's sill no resolution.

Works great always keeps my Camera charged and easy to install . Just plug the solar cell up to camera screw down . It’s easy as pie .

Connected the solar panel to one of my Arlo Pro cameras in October of 2020. It is now March 2021 and have nothing bad to say. It survived a harsh, Iowa winter. I kept an eye on the battery/panel through the winter months and saw the battery get to 60% during a spate of very cold and cloudy weeks. But once the sun came out it would top it off no problem. This would be an even more excellent product if you lived in warmer/brighter climates!

It maintain the Arle camera fully charged. I don't have to worry about recharging camera. It super easy to install and operate.

I got seven of these Arlo Solar chargers. One out of the seven came bad out of the box. Once replaced, I had no more charging issues. I do not have them angle but I have them flat or where they get as much sun as possible. The solars took 2 days to charge the Arlo Pro 2 from 5%/20% to 100%. I have the cameras 100% Motion and 100% sensitive. They are always recording or giving alerts. (At least 20 to 100 alerts per camera a day) These are worth every penny and I don't have to charge them every month.

I purchased this unit to charge the camera over my driveway. The camera is mounted high enough that taking it down to charge the battery would be inconvenient. This solar panel gets sun for a few hours in the morning and after a month, the camera battery is still showing fully charged. I check on the app occasionally to ensure the panel is working and it shows charging regularly. No issues so far and no need to dismount the camera to get to the battery.

The Arlo solar panel is top notch. It keeps my outdoor camera fully charged. It is super easy to install.

My husband bought two of them when he was in Maryland. He was visiting my daughter who has a Arlo system. She showed him theirs. She show how it worked. So much easier than having to get on a ladder every couple months, bring them down, charge them and then put them back up. He is 68 years old and I didn’t like him climbing the ladder.

This panel has given me the ability to place the Arlo Pro in a place where I don't have to worry about recharging the battery. Everytime I check the status of the battery, it is always at a full charge. Well worth the price of the solar panel to not have to pull the camera down and charge the battery. The panel is easy to install, and simply plug the connector where the charging cable goes. This is my second purchase - I have had the first one for 6 months without any problems.

It was pretty easy to install (I placed it on a tree) and definitely keeps my camera charged. Works even in overcast conditions.

I've had the arlo solar panel for a couple of weeks and works great. I will have to buy 2 more for my other cameras. You will not be disappointed

This Arlo Solar Panel has been a little quirky, but it is finally doing its job after replacing the first one. We had a lot of rain after when we purchased the first panel. I'm not sure if the water got in it or if it was a bad panel. Luckily we purchased the 2-year Geek Squad plan which we normally do on something like this. It has rained a lot since we got the second panel as well and we have had no issues. We were worried since it's autumn and due to the side of the house we had to put the panel on that it wouldn't get enough sunlight. Surprisingly it keeps our Arlo battery charged in the 90-100% range. The first panel also kept giving us connection issues so we had to unplug it and plug it back in constantly. The replacement panel only did this once. So far so good!
