Bought this after my Harman Larson failed. It’s a good budget receiver. Can’t beat the price

Nice receiver for my projector tv. Bought it on a Black Friday prormotion for a great price!

I have it as the center of entertainment for my living room. I have it connected to an Amazon Echo to listen to music and I have it connected to my cable set-top-box. The audio is great for both music and watching movies, TV. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars, it's because it does not work with my Chromecast device; it works great with the Amazon Fire TV Stick but not with Chromecast which I find odd.

The system is well rounded and self explanatory. The surrounding speakers sound excellent

Sony receiver does it all! Has Bluetooth capability to make it easy to listen to any media. Has plenty of power for a Movie Theather Room. Simple to set up. Perfect for what I needed. Wanted something with a USB port and this has it. Plus 4 HD ports. So glad I didn't overspend for a total macked out one. This has all the features and works great! I highly recommend it. Got it for $199.99, what a great value!!!

It's easy to set up and very user friendly. I like that when the TV is turned off, so does the receiver. But it doesn't come on when you turn the TV on. If you have an old setup, you need a wire to convert to CRA for your subs. Overall, it's a great system with good sound.

This receiver has great sound quality and the surround sound will send chills up your back.

I got this on sale at Best Buy for Xmas along with a separate purchase elsewhere of Sony 4K DVD player to update my system which included a 2 year old 60 inch 4K LG tv. What a difference they both make in quality of picture and sound. I'm no techie but easy hookup.

Bought a 4k tv. Bought a ps4 pro. Ran it through my receiver and no 4k. So bought this 4k receiver to replace my old one and it works and sounds good. Only problem I have is an menu that pops up every time you turn it on or switch to another mode. Low price also.

I purchased this receiver because it had Dolby 7.1 surround sound and it only cost $200. Sony makes great audio products and this one is no exception. You can pay more for more features but if you just want something fairly basic you can't go wrong with this.

Basic receiver. Basic performance. Use of A/B speakers difficult to set up...otherwise easy to connect components/Bluetooth/etc.

Can’t view music files from USB on tv or receiver. Can’t use USB for iPod or iPhone, can only use bluetoooth. USB port is useless. Have to play songs from start to finish. Can advance to next song but you don’t know the title of next song. Can’t read certain music files. Receiver don’t display very much on tv. This receiver is not very advanced.

Replaced older model from late 90's, works well, easy setup and use/calibration.

This receiver is awesome. It automatically sets itself up for the best sound for your room and it automatically changes to the correct input setting when a new device is powered on. This is a great sounding receiver with all of the bells and whistles.
