Every movie comes to life with this surround receiver. I'm hearing sounds that I had not heard with my other surround system. For the price I don't think there's a better choice.

It was a Christmas present for the husband and he loves it! He loves the additional features it comes with! We haven't updated ours for about 10 years. Works great with the 4K TV!

Multiple HDMI ports, 3D pass through and a good price. These are what I needed to upgrade my old Sony Receiver. System links nicely with all my other Sony components. Next, I need to upgrade my speakers. One stranger occurrence, however, is that when I switch to my headset while playing PS4, the receive will automatically turn off every couple of minutes. This would be a bigger problem if I used my headset more often. I'm hoping there is a fix for that. Not sure why it occurs.

I had an older version of this sound system for a few years. Decided it was time to upgrade with a better sound. Especially if I wanted my video games to sound great.

Geek Squad came and attached the receiver. They did a good job and the receiver works just fine. Got a DVD player and now I need to figure out how to get it to play.

Easy set up and my system was running in less than twenty minutes. Worked extremely well with non Sony products. Excellent buy for the price. I would highly recommend.

I am really enjoying my new system. It has different levels of listening to it such as if I was really at a concert or sports stadium!

Just what I needed to update my 5.2 system. I just added 2 speakers and no I have a great sounding 7.1 system. As always with sony if it is wired correctly it sounds great!!

Replaced a $1200 Yamaha receiver. Surround sound and music vastly improved. Brought it for the 4K pass through. Didn’t realize my previous receiver was so poor.

The Bluetooth feature on this receiver works flawlessly, allowing us to access Pandora through a cell phone and listen through the stereo speakers - sounds great!

Bought it a few weeks ago, easy to operate, Bluetooth for music is easy to set up and use. Open music on phone, select receiver in Bluetooth and it comes on and plays.

The Sony system was ok it has good features like Bluetooth etc however if you are seeking clear crisp sounds that can be heard distinctly this does not work

This item out of the box was easy to setup. My only recommendation is to add a guide in the box for various sound settings rather than having to get the instructions online.

Purchased a Sony Receiver to replace a Denon that was hit during a lightning storm. Kept it for about a week before returning for another Denon. Sony is very picky in receiving HDMI signals, especially from Comcast. Ever since switching back to Denon, no problems.

good product. best bang for the buck. this was an upgraded Sony receiver replacement product. I like Sony. It was easy to configure and setup. completely satisfied.

I purchased another model that I had to send back that was cheaper and had more bells and whistles. So for that matter I can't give 5 stars. Good quality tho.

This receiver is good quality. The one negative is that it does not have a way to manually specify the sound between each speaker like some others. Good product though.

Had an old Onkyo that began to go in safe mode. Had it for about 11 years. Looked around and ended up with this as BestBuy. Bought it when it was the Deal of the Day item. So far this receiver has met all of my expectations. When using it at levels pretty low it stays pretty cool. When you turn it up and getting it cranking, it is just like any other tuner and gets pretty warm. Since, I always use it at ear drum busting levels, I got a little fan to cool it off. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone seeking a reasonably priced tuner that can put out some power

This receiver gave amazing sound quality. The only complaint I had with it was that within the first year one of the four HDMI ports stopped working.

Couldn't be happier for the money. Works and sounds great. FYI make sure you give it room to breath as it gets hot fast if you stack other components directly on top.
