Nice to have the receivers compatibility work well other components. A bit of a learning curve for me but I continue to find new ways to enjoy the clarity of sound.

Unit has multiple features and the quality of music and tv sounds are better than my previous unit... Also has provision for surround sound to be added later.

I needed to by new receiver for surround sound systems because I upgraded to new TV. So was glad this was on sale at the time would recommend to friends.

I was looking for a receiver to replace one that had died and I just purchased a new 65" 4K TV. This unit fit into my budget and the sound is quite good for a non-audiophile. The setup with the included mic makes balancing the sound with all your speakers, some of mine are offset due to the shape of my room. The number of HDMI inputs is more than I need but I have room to expand. My only complaint is there is only "on" or "off" for audio sync which causes the video and audio to be a bit off with one of my devices. I'm sure a more expensive unit would allow a range of timing offsets.

Previously, I had an older Sony receiver which burned out after years of use. Because of the quality, buying another Sony was a given. It's great, quality sound.

I bought this seven months ago and haven't opened the box yet but the unit has everything I wanted and it was on sale for a reasonable/comparable price.

Learned something new. I bought the larger unit and exchanged it due to malfunction. I got this one instead - after all, I only have a 1bd apartment and how much horsepower did I need for the speakers? I was also figuring I'd get an account credit. Instead, I paid $155 more for this weaker unit - because the original one was on sale. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID. By the time I got the bill I'd already had the new one wired up and couldn't exchange it back. Big lesson - make sure you don't get screwed, paying $155 more for a lesser product you'd exchanged.

I'm loving this receiver. Just remember most your quality comes from the speakers so don't go cheap on those and you'll have one heck of a home theater system.

This is the most user friendly addition to our sound system we have ever had. Very smooth transition from our Denon receiver we had to replace, twice!

Supports my 7.1 surround sound for theater and gaming. Was less than the Denon and plenty of inputs for all my Klipsch speakers. Produces great sound!

This Stereo is one of the best stereo system I have ever bought .it sounds good looks good and being able to connect to the internet is very helpful .

A good basic home stereo receiver, has plenty of options to run your video through. It's a simple stereo receiver.

It was a great price and does everything I needed it to do for a base receiver. Easy set-up and the included mic was great for tuning the speakers.

i lucked out and picked this one up the week of thanksgiving so got an amazing deal. it be a 7.2 4K ready receiver for under 400 regular price is one good deal.

Love the receiver it works great! If you get a vibration or humming noise make sure it is not plugged into the same circuit as a space heater or fan.

Works great also purchased klipch speakers and powered sub and Yamaha ceiling speakers does a great job powering all 7 speakers sounds fantastic

The system has good sound and lots of functionality options. It does have an annoying tendency to switch back to TV mode once or twice when starting it up.

I had a 5.1 receiver which I still use and upgraded a new home entertainment system using the 7.1 receiver. Hookups were easy and system works great.

Got this on an "opened box" sale and saved $150. I love it! I actually use my surround sound for TV, BRP, NETFLIX and all my Amazon Prime shows. Its great.
