Purchased this receiver with new Sony TV. Couldn’t be happier with both products. Great quality and amazing value.

Got it home unplugged my old receiver, and hook up the new and sound so much better then my old Sony. It's a smart receiver!

I looked for a while to find a receiver for my in-laws, this one had all the features they needed and was very easy to use.

I needed a new receiver to replace an old Yamaha 7.2. This had all the inputs (HDMI) needed and was easy to setup.

This Sony Receiver is excellent in every way. I can hook it up to my phone and play my own music. I really like this!

Easy set up and ease of use. Works great with the tv and the blue ray player not to mention the external speakers.

Can't wait to get into a 4K TV so that I can pair it with my Sony receiver and have great sound coming from it

I wanted a nice mid range, mid price point receiver that had all the whistle and bells. This unit has everything.

This was very easy to set up. I love the menu on screen and device. The remote is great as well and works from far away.

The receiver was easy to set up with the auto calibration feature and it had just enough HDMI ports for what I needed.

This is a great receiver for any home theater. Easy to set up and manage. For the most part it is plug and play.

Bought it on sale for 200$. Best deal. Combine with four Sony sscs3, the center speaker and sub. Amazing sound!

I was looking for an inexpensive receiver that allowed 4K to pass through and this model works well. Is easy to navigate.

This receiver works great and when paired with other Sony products there's no second guessing when joking things up.

Decent unit, old unit stopped working and needed a new one. This one has better sound than the old Denon it replaces

Very disappointing. (yes, it is hooked up properly) I bought this to replace another brand and well this will not even push the Klipsch speakers I have. It won't get any louder than the Logitech ones I have on my pc.

So I purchased this item in November but wasn’t able to use it until after Christmas (when I purchased stereo wire). I connected my Nintendo NES (that I also purchased at Best Buy) to the Sony Receiver and viola, it worked perfectly. I like it so far but I have not fully used it in every way available like the wireless connections via Bluetooth. I’m sure it will connect just fine though. As of this review I have no complaints and think this was a good purchase.

Solid receiver so far, easy menu navigation, nice sound production and no degradation of video signal.

I paid GS $500 to hook up my new entertainment system (also included a 5-year warranty) which included this component. Soon after the GS left my home, I began having trouble. They came back a week later and were all but stumped as well. They did a complete factory reset and it fixed the problem for a day or so, but it resurfaced. In the end I switched to a Yamaha receiver and so far love it. GS was great...even got the Field Marshal involved and they stood by their installation and product(s) with no hassle. I would HIGHLY recommend BestBuy and the Geek Squad, but not the Sony receiver.
