Needed to replace receiver with up to date connections, this fits the bill. Has many speaker set-up choices pre-programmed, mic for auto balancing. All of my components connected, including multi-component remote. Receiver tuning could be easier. Great value for price.

I love the hdmi ports. I plug all my devices into it and just switch to whatever I am using, it is very convenient. I have not experienced the full 7.2 feature because not is broadcasted with that feature but when it is, I should be ready

Not a big tech guy and was easy to install. Only problem I have is the antenna. Horrible and with the outlet it gives you cannot find a better one to put in. Store guy couldn't help me find something either

I decided to get a sound bar so I don't need the receiver. I will return it.

This is an excellent set up, even for someone like me, who isn't the best with electronics.. It makes it very simple and easy to use. I love the fact that there are buttons on the remote for each of the systems. It makes switching between them a breeze.

I was looking at one of the more expensive units when the sales person recommended this one. After explaining my plan to him he pointed to this unit and proceeded to tell me that it would be more than I needed, my basement now is equivalent to being in the theater.

I bought this unit because it allowed for 7 speakers instead of 5. I do not think it took me over 30 minutes to get installed. It sets up the balance on the speakers using a microphone which is easy but I would like an easy option to do it manually also.

Sony eliminated the 75 ohm FM antenna terminal for a 3oo ohm short wire antenna, bad idea Sony. The FM reception is very poor for rural areas. Also, the software for configuring the sound field is limited compared to earlier Sony home theater receivers.

Keep in mind that this product has a two year limited factory warranty. My old one was broken down and I sent it off to united radio( Sony authorized repairer) for repair. The repair took about 3 weeks while I bought a new one to use in this three weeks.

Clean sound, Plenty of power per channel, Multichannel mode works great for home theater and stereo mode provides great sound for my audio collection. 3 HDMI inputs allows me future expansion. The bluetooth input allows me to play music stored on my phone.

After buying an Onkyo and returning due to compatibility, thought this Sony receiver would be compatible with my Sony TV... unfortunately, the TV is so new and updated, this model is not compatible - had to return, but only for that one reason.

The Bluetooth standby mode is amazing and the range is even better. I am able to listen and control without connectivity issues anywhere in my 2,000 sqft house (even the first floor garage). Doing busy work and still having the phone in the pocket is great.

Switched from an older Yamaha receiver to this Sony for its 4K capabilities at a reasonable price. It’s a decent receiver, but I’ve noticed it can take up to a minute or two before it “warms up” and all the connected devices turn on.

So far, nothing about this system has dissapointed. The auto-shutdown after 15 minutes of silence can be annoying, but it's also awesome. Our previous unit got left on ALL the time. We don't have to worry about that with this unit, which is great.

We purchased this receiver to go along with a new TV and new Google Fiber service. Seems to be working fine! TV picture is excellent. We did have problems with it not working once, but just unplugged and then plugged back in and it was fine.

We had an old surround sound system with bose speakers but the audio quality just was not there, we knew it was not the speakers so we purchased this unit and are extremely pleased.

I was planning on getting a 5.2 receiver but this was on sale so I gave it a good look over. The way the amplifiers are set up you can choose about any surround configuration you want. This works and has most of the bells and whistles anyone could want.

I use this system with a 7.1 configuration and it works perfect. The menu takes some time getting used to but it allows customized adjustment which is great. I have an Apple TV/ PS4/ Cable box all connected to the unit. Highly recommended.

This receiver is well worth the cost. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the Bluetooth seems to get buggy and glitchy occasionally when connected to a device to listen to music. Other than that no issues. Love it!

Pretty simple to change settings, I am not techy at all and need my son's assistance with choosing the correct settings. Have had this for over a year now and it still works perfect. Great product, not a breeze to use.
