I keep learning more and more great things about it and it does save energy and has a few good surprises !.. my only disappointment was that I wasn't able to turn up sound in outside zone as listening option ?!. Maybe I will find a solution

Purchased this Sony Tuner at a great price to replace my Pioneer Tuner that died. Sony Tuner is much better and we really like the Bluetooth connection. Streaming music from our phones and quality is great. Could not be happier with this Tuner.

Bought this to replace my 15 year old Sony receiver that was used daily. I'm very happy with the purchase. The ease of setup was great and there are plenty of hdmi ports to connect all my equipment. Definite improvement over my older receiver.

I got this mainly because it was fairly priced and needed a headhunting that supports 4k pass through and this one seems to do the job okay. I’m mainly a fan of the pioneer brands but for the costs this one works fine

I got this for Christmas and it works just like you'd expect. The only thing that I didn't like is that the bluetooth is receive only (I was hoping it'd send signal to bluetooth headphones) but I wasn't even expecting this feature anyway

Had to buy adapter cable to go from receiver to sound bar as we didn't want to hookup to tv. Would be nice if back of receiver had RCA connections for speakers. Need to be knowledgeable in electronics to connect up receiver.

You can't beat the deal when this receiver is on sale. It has all features of much higher price receivers. For the sound, unless you're an expert and have a good speaker system, you won't be able to tell the difference.

Great surround sound receiver. We run 2 xboxes (one hdmi and one optical) and a fire stick through this and always sounds great. Auto cal is a nice feature with the provided mic. Lots of features and inputs.

We have been using this receiver for a couple of months now. No special clips were needed to attach the speaker wires. I am not the most techy grandma but was able to set it up and get it working. We are enjoying our surround sound,

Sony, how hard would it be to put the RCA connectors for an iPod on the front panel? One has to dig all the way in the book to find it. Other than that, the product is up to the finest Sony standards.

Purchased the receiver as a replacement for the receiver I had for 13 years. It was not as expensive as my first receive but works just as well as the first one before it went out.

This is one of the best av's i have ever had. Has great sound when playing music .Has very ,very good surround sound.Makes me think i'm in a theater when i am watching movie.I am tickled that i chose the sony this time around.

I bought this to update my 20+ year old Sony receiver that was acting a little funny but is still working and this new receiver is a nice base receiver for the deal I got it for and hope it last half as long as my old one.

Works fine but, missing alot of the bells and whistles.

Compared to the Pioneer Elite and Denon I had in the past, this thing is complete garbage. The interface, tech, and the god awful menu that pops up upon every power up - means this bad boy is being returned tomorrow. It plays sound - and that's the only reason it gets 2 stars.

Wound up returning item because Bluetooth would not work.

I wasn't able to get the speakers turned on using this receiver. I was on the phone with tech support for an hour and they still couldn't get the speakers on my system to function.

The unit is OK. Not as easily adjusted as similar products at the same price point.

My only problem is it will sporadically switch channels on it's own.

Had an ONKYO that I liked very much before this one, a power surge wiped out the video channel. Saw this on sale and checked out the reviews and I'm glad I chose this one. Excellent selection and the price was just right.
