Bought this unit to set it up in the basement for the pool area. I have 4 inceiling speakers connected to it with an Apple TV and a 60" Flat screen TV. Works great! I'm happy with it.

Excellent system. Perfect for my media room. I needed multiple inputs to come together. This is synergy! I can even view and hear over the air broadcasts thanks to the optical channel.

Upgraded to this version since ours was outdated and had no HDMI ports. Love the Bluetooth which connects quickly to listen to music with all of our tablets and phones. Love it so far!

Receiver is super easy to setup and delivers a good amount of power. It does everything that it says it will do. I would definitely buy this again and refer it to friends and family.

My wif e and I are very happy with our purchases, a Panasonic digital phone. I get excellent clarity in calls. It also has 5 other phones that can be placed in other locations.

I went into Best Buy to purchase a receiver and the associate was very knowledgeable and helpful and I am overly pleased with this product and the price was where I wanted to be!

Thought I'd upgrade my stereo receiver, Best Buy had this one on sale and it seemed just right. Found it was a little to technical for me and my stereo equipment.

The sound quality is excellent and the syncing capabilities of the device makes it easy to sync with other Sony components such as TV and UHD Blue Ray disc player.

We got this receiver because it is the same brand as our speakers and is 4K compatible. We use it for our record player and television, and it works well for both.

It's a good amplifier as expected from Sony. The Bluetooth connection is a bit slow. And the controls are hard to understand for some one who is not an expert like me.

The Sony receiver is less of a device than I already have in my home system and had considered upgrade until I took a closer look at this one. I realize that cost savings must be implemented to a product in today's market. They left out some of the more desirable features: phone preamp, proper FM radio connection, preamp outs etc. My old Sony is heads and shoulders above this current product. So I wound up returning this to Best Buy and keeping my old receiver. My old one has all the "bells' and most of the 'whistles". I will continue to enjoy Sony products in the future when they get their act together.

Had this receiver about 3 weeks, and have not been able to setup. Cannot get to screen for setup. It keeps going thru speaker sequence after a commercial or fast forward?

Compared to other high end units this is a satisfactory substitute and its weight is such that moving it around in a cabinet is done easily. The output is very good.

Works great with my Bravia 4K TV and Sony Blue Ray player. Thought I'd be more struck with the sound but overall sounds nice.

I bought this in store and on-sale. It was suggested by the associate. We use for the surround system in our bedroom. It is perfect for what we need. Look for it on sale.
