Occasional issues with wireless carplay connectivity but can always fixed by a reboot. Audio output is awesome. The brightness can be an issue if it's sunny and bright but that's what you get for a matte screen - you lose brightness for avoiding finger print smudges.

For persistent connectivity problems, you might want to try re-pairing your smartphone with the car stereo by deregistering the device from both the car stereo and the smartphone's Bluetooth settings, then pairing them again. As for the brightness issue, the matte screen does indeed help reduce fingerprint smudges but can be less bright in sunny conditions. This is a trade-off that comes with the matte finish.

Sony - 7" Wireless Radio make sound great again

With this sony no such issue and also sound is better quality . No more cable needed for carplay . I highly recommend it .

The tech upgrade that we didn't know we needed...

This Sony radio has fit the bill for us, Wireless Carplay has been a game changer! No more needing to use a cable to plug into our iPhones, to get Waze on the display screen. Now, all we need to do is start up the car and the iPhone automatically sync to the radio. The radio has been super easy to use, we are happy with our tech upgrade!

Never have to take the iPhone out of my pocket. Siri works great with Apple Music and Apple Maps. . Only issue is if the sun hits the screen, becomes difficult to see. All considered, I am happy with my purchase.

I occasionally have problems connecting, but i think that is due to the number of bluetooth devices that I have connected to my phone, not the head unit itself. The sound quality is incredible, it really brought the stock Toyota speakers to life in my 2010 Toyota Venza. The touch screen is very responsive, and the backup camera that I had installed looks great on its screen. Would definitely recommend.

Good Replacement Receiver

Excellent Bang for Buck

Works better than expected. Only few draw backs are the screen is not capacitive touch (still very responsive though) and it's not an AMOLED screen therefore the brightness may be an issue for some installation layouts with the sun washing the screen visibility. The plus side to this though is there are no fingerprints or smudges on screen at all. Overall, for my installation, very pleased with product.

It seemlessly transformed my 2003 truck into a modern masterpiece. The apple car play and android car play work great. the sound plugged right into my bose system and is clear and just as powerfull. The screen is an ideal size, the CarPlay works flawlessly, and I am happy with my purchase . The radio, Sirius , and Bluetooth all work well. A couple moments after the radio comes online, the maps automatically load. The interface with satellite radio / Sirius XM is great. After the much needed firmware update you are able to fast-forward rewind and pause live satellite, just like you would any other DVR. The sound isn't as good as the previous model XAVAX3250, but should do well enough for most people. The box advertises screen mirroring capabilities but I never found it. I would buy this unit again just for the wireless Android Auto capabilities. Also works with Apple Play.

Lots of good features on this receiver. I am really happy I went with the wireless version. It has made my life very easy. I am glad I purchased the adapter to run SXM through the Media Receiver rather than apple car play. A couple times I had phone issues, but I could still use the radio. Very happy with my purchase
