My little brother loved them! The sound from these is amazing

Nice and comfortable. Little expensive butt great quality.

Really good headset it’s super comfortable and really Good sound too and you can just move the microphone up and down then mutes you and unmutes without having to do it on your PlayStation I love it best choice for a head set

The Sony Inzone H5 Wireless Gaming Headset is a solid addition to one’s world of gaming. There are two color schemes to choose from, ether black or white. I got the black option, for mostly PC use, which is a sleek appearing finish; however, it will show grease from fingerprints. I do not have a PS5; however, these headphones are designed for use with Sony’s current gaming device – and if I had obtained for that use, I feel the white model would match better in general. With color aesthetics aside, these headphones are a minimalistic appearing over-the-ear style with a sleek and functional microphone that may be adjusted for use. The headphones are lightweight, which allows for comfort of the over-the-ear style and may be worn without significant discomfort after longer gaming sessions. I also have not had my ears get too hot while using them, which often is an issue with previous over-the-ear headphones. Charging is simple, using a USB-C port (which I feel has become a main standard for most devices). I have not had issues with battery life during a couple evenings gaming session. I typically charge most nights, but it is advertised to be able to get 28-hours of battery life from a charge. The connectivity of the headphones is mainly by a USB adapter piece/receiver with a toggle for PC vs PS5. Upon power-on the headphones connect quickly and efficiently without the need to pair or go through hoops to use; however, the USB adapter size is present and while gaming on my laptop found it hitting my leg some – which I just worry over long-term use could damage the adapter from pressure pushing up on it. There is not a Bluetooth connection option, so these are not necessarily compatible with most/some devices (like my phone for instance) which is not a deal breaker as they are not designed for that purpose necessarily, but worth mentioning. There is also the option to plug into a standard audio cable port, making available more devices for use. Once connecting on the PC, you may use the InZone Hub app to customize experience with robust equalizer options. There is an option for 360 spatial audio which provides a more robust gaming experience, enhancing ability to hear directional sound while gaming. I felt that although outside noises are not canceled out by these, for the level of headphone, there is a great dampening effect that allows for focus on the game. I felt that the quality of sound is appropriate for gaming related headphones, it is not as robust as some more enhanced noise-canceling models I have used; but is absolutely acceptable for purpose and expectation. Sony has taken core listening technology and turned this into a gaming tool: allowing for precision sound while in game, a microphone that those on the receiving end have not complained about voice quality and prolonged comfort. These headphones perform to the standard they are advertised as, and when it comes to a console/PC gaming experience are well fit for the task

This is a great new pair of Sony INZONE H5 Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones. I’ve had them for a couple weeks now and have really enjoyed them. Wireless, nice boom mic, and great sound quality. They’re very light and comfortable to allow for long sessions without head/neck/ear fatigue. Sound Quality: I’ve had and used many pairs of headphones and to me the most important aspect of any pair of headphones is their sound quality. These headphones are quite nice. Sound great quiet or loud, whatever your preference is. The over ear design makes them inherently noise cancelling of outside chatter, allows low level listening even in a noisy environment. The sound is nice and clean with crystal clear highs. The bass response is ok, but I was honestly expecting a little more low-end bump based on the size of these headphones and their drivers. Still a terrific overall audio performance. Design and Build: The headphones are well-constructed and seem very durable but SUPER lightweight. I like the look, good gaming design, and the white color matches my laptop. Smooth lines and these would look really nice alongside a PS5 which I think these were really designed to be paired with. Connectivity Options: Simple to connect USB dongle/transponder for wireless connection. The transponder seems bigger than necessary. I’m also quite disappointed that these don’t have Bluetooth capabilities – would be really nice to use these with the laptop without needing to worry about the USB thing’s size as well as the fact that it takes up an available USB port if you’re limited. These headphones can also use the 3.5mm auxiliary audio cable that they come with but this eliminates their usefulness of being wireless. Battery Life: seriously good battery life here with 28-hour use time on a single charge. Can go several days without problem. Also charge pretty quickly as well – 10 minutes of charge rewards you with 3 hours of audio playback! As with any devicer battery life will vary with usage habits but overall battery seems very good with these. Price: These just dropped so price of these headphones may be a little elevated, however, price is in line with other headphones of similar category with similar specs. Overall, really, really nice headphones with great sound. I would recommend them to a friend.

My opinion it’s decent I had better for the same price. I only bought it to match my ps5.

For anyone wondering why you would want a wireless headset with a USB dongle, the 2.4 ghz frequency travels much further than a Bluetooth signal. I am able to join a meeting on my PC and walk anywhere in my house or back yard and still have a clear reception without static. Generally speaking a Bluetooth connection will get you around 30-40 feet away from the source. These headphones are quite light, comfortable and the mic is just the right level of sensitive to pick up a whisper but not a breath. The sound is crystal clear and very accurate to real life sound for a voice or other audio delicacies you may devour. The headset I received was actually white and not the black in the description. It perfectly matches the PlayStation 5 in aesthetics. Padding is around the ear cuffs and at the top of the head band. The ear cuffs rotate far enough the unit can lay flat in a bag or a drawer. There is a quick switch to flip between Game and Chat. Also there is a switch on the dongle to go from PC to PS5. Both options work equally well The left ear piece has the volume control and mic with jacks for USB type C and audio input. This headset will work with no power if it is plugged in with the audio cable. The right ear piece also homes the power and chat/game buttons. It makes it easy to know the audio controls are on the left. The audio cable can also be plugged into the controller you may use, as an example a PS5 controller, as long as it has an audio out jack. Not that this is advertised, but the headset also works with my android phone and ChromeOS as long as I use an adapter with the dongle on my phone. Overall this is a great and versatile headset. The lack of Bluetooth is actually a bonus to me. Included are the audio AUX cable, a USB to USB type C cable and various manuals.

Sound quality is fine. Mic is absolutely garbage. The audio balance feature hardly works unless you unplug and plug the usb dongle in every time you want to use the game/chat buttons. All of this has been tested on PS5, no PC usage. Extremely overpriced for poor performance. Battery life is the only good thing about this headset.

Great quality, however it says it comes with noise cancellation but it does not.

Got the heaset for work and I am loving it. I can play music while I wait for a call to come through, the best part is how soft the ear cushions are. Amazing

Great product for a great price. Would recommend!!

Great headset would recommend for pc and ps5 use very balanced headset

Excellent and such a nice upgrade from some headphones that I was using.

They are really good my son loves them for his gaming

Highly recommended these these headphones have worked out great

Terrible customer service. Package was sent to an address I haven't used in 3 years. Best Buy said they would change the destination twice over the phone. Then contacted through email saying they couldn't. Still made me pay full price.

The Sony Inzone H5 Wireless headset is my second Sony gaming headset and an improvement from the H3 that I previously reviewed thanks to the wireless connection capability. The Inzone H5 a pretty serious improvement from other gaming headsets that I've used in that it is pretty lightweight and the padding both on the earcups and the headband are extremely soft. The comfort makes a big difference when using the Inzone H5 for long gaming sessions (or like I did today, for an 8 hour training class at work). One change from the previous Inzone model is the H5 is not "discord certified" like the H3 was. I found that feature was kind of neat to see in the Discord app but didn't really seem to improve sound quality at all. The H5 kind of proves that theory as my friends still thought the mic sounded very good for a gaming headset and the sound quality of other people talking in chat was very good. You can also set up a chat/gaming audio balance where your voice comms use the "headset" channel while your actual gaming sounds come through the "headsphones" channel, allowing you to set a balance through the Sony Inzone app so it doesn't always sound like the sounds are competing with each other. As for day to day usage, the Inzone H5 seems easy to live with. Sony advertises the battery life as 28 hours. I haven't been able to get 28 hours of gaming in to comment on this fully, but I will say that I have been able to use them for about a week now without charging them except for when I plugged them in right out of the box. I also found the automatic sleep to be pretty effective. The button placement is kind of strange and took some getting used to (hard to explain, and YMMV on this), but the buttons all feel sturdy and are easy to click once your hands find them. The mic does have a flip-to-mute capability which is great for my use case (mixed gaming and professional use). Overall, this is a great headset that is among the best I've used with my PC. This will be highly recommended for my friends and family during the holiday season.

With this year’s iteration of the H5 I feel Sony made some decent improvements. This headset has comfort going for it. The H5 is lightweight which is great for extended gaming sessions. The weight makes a huge difference with how comfortable a headset can be, a lot of people don’t think of this at get time as generally most headsets don’t feel heavy initially but after a couple of hours you can really start to notice. With these I had no such issue. The cups are also extremely comfortable and I didn’t find they made my ears hot or create any sweat. For me Sony nailed the comfort aspect, thigh I will note if you have a larger head they keep feel a tad tight for a few days. These are not Bluetooth and do require a 2.4ghz dongle that comes with the headset. People may frown at this but it’s actually better as you get a better distance reception so if you were hoping to pair these with a phone then you’re out of luck. Sound wise these are decent. Spoken word is crystal clear and ambient noises in games are picked up quite well. The lows are not as deep as I would like but that’s all personal preference. You can also use these on the PC and download Sonys software but I’ve only used them on my PS5. Overall these are a good companion for your PS5 and that’s about it, they’re made for gaming and use a dongle for wireless connection so be aware of that before diving in hoping for an all in one solotion

Worked great until after 13 months of use. Just died and won’t charge. Swapped internal battery with a new one and still not working.

Sound for me was too muffled and flat...not for me...for roughly the same cost, invest in a steelseries 5p
